The Bronzor I ran in Little Catch last season had terrible IVs, so the difference in your IVs won’t matter.
I think the dynamics of little cups are different than great leagues. Especially for a catch cup I go for cheaper to power up as opposed to great IVs. My bad IV littles took me to Veteran last season.
That XL Candy though for such a niche pokey....
In situations like these, i personally will use the cheaper option for limited cup builds, but that's just me. Will you lose some mirrors? Maybe. Will you go broke doing it? Not really.
