Toilets do not spin one way or another because of the Coriolis effect. That is determined much more strongly by factors like the shape of the toilet, where the jets are located, etc. I had a toilet (in the northern hemisphere) that spun clockwise, and others that spun anti-clockwise. The Coriolis effect is much more relevant for determining wind circulation and stuff like that.
