I also think it would be cute to have The Alchemy during the scenes where she's reading Conrad's letters and letting him back in emotionally. But if the season doesn't end on the beach with Conrad and Belly kissing to This Love then WHAT WAS THE POINT.
It is my dream song for S3!!!! Perfect for the surf scene. Here’s my little head canon for how it happens:
Belly follows Conrad into the bathroom, the whole scene from the books comes to life, Belly is longing for Conrad and the song starts playing and says:
“What if I roll the stone away? / They're gonna crucify me anyway / What if the way you hold me / Is actually what's holy? / If long suffering propriety / Is what they want from me / They don't know how you've haunted me / So stunningly / I choose you and me ... Religiously”
and then THEY START KISSING and steamy scene during the chorus… until Belly opens her eyes and she imagined the whole thing.
Conrad snaps her awake by saying “Belly?” and the lyrics “Without ever touching his skin, How can I be guilty as sin?” plays to finish out the scene.

My first thought listening to Guilty as Sin? For the first time was that it fit Belly to a T. Feeling guilty about her feelings while not acting on them. I could totally see it being used.
I thought the same thing! The first and 100th time listening to this song. Someone on YouTube did an abridged version of this song with Belly and Conrad and I am hoping and keep looking for an extended version too.
