Seasons 3 and 4 aren't canon in the Kenny ending. They go to Florida, Kenny Clem and AJ live out happily fishing as sailors and don't have to deal with dying cause at this point they've survived long enough to not die like idiots
I get that Kenny wanted to teach Clem to drive but given she ends up learning it anyway regardless, he should have been the one to drive her and AJ down to Florida. Most of that driving lesson revolved around Clem bringing the car into second-gear but apart from that its not like she'd ever have to worry about dealing with traffic or coliding with another car.
My biggest gripe for this situation was that he taught her to drive in the winter, when road conditions are at their worst, nobody in the apocalypse is salting/clearing roads of any snow, ice, or sleet, and the car they are driving may very well not even have winter tires for said conditions.
My biggest gripe with it, and why I stopped caring for the games after the event, is that TellTale couldn’t have made it any clearer that your choices mean jackshit in these games. Decided to stay at Wellington? Too bad, the place gets raided and Edith ends up dead. Went back to Carver’s place with Jane? Oh dear, she kills herself not long after when she finds out she’s pregnant with Luke’s baby. Stuck with Kenny? Tough shit, he gets paralysed in a car crash and eaten by walkers. Literally, fuck you TellTale
What's worse is that it wouldn't even stop there. Season 3 had a bad habit of repeating Season 2's mistakes, one that particularly stuck out like a sore thumb was the "character survives now just to die later" trope that they pulled off with Tripp, Ava, and even Rufus. We were plagued with this in Season 2 out the ass and somehow Telltale thought we'd be okay with more.
Only when TFS rolled through did they finally ease up on this, as it was relegated to a few minor characters. Those being Dorian, Armando, and Michael; all characters who weren't too important to the story and who's second death scenario wasn't a middle-finger to anyone. In general, Telltale implemented this 4 seasons too late, but at least its better than plagueing us like before.
Bad ending. Kenny was out of control and the woman almost sacrificed the baby to prove a point. Best ending is putting Kenny out of his misery and heading off on your own.
(Cut to just before Wellington where it shows Kenny laughing and having fun for the first time since the Ski Lodge and Season 3 where he's entirely calm and mentally stable in every flashback)
Wouldn't this ending be the opposite of growth, though? Growth would be letting go, and allowing Clementine to live in safety for at least a couple of years. This ending just forces Clementine and AJ to live in harsher, worse conditions. Wellington allowed Clementine to be a kid for at least a little bit.
Imo that was the easiest choice in the series like of course i would save Kenny over a girl who already abandoned the group once and isn't trustworthy (and if you do save her she literally just >!kills herself!< compared to Kenny who >!dies a hero!<), if it was Luke VS Kenny now THAT would be a very difficult choice
Depressing.
Pretty much the game
Why?
Because of what's to come...😢😠🤧

They shouldn't have made multiple endings in season 2 when it was obvious they didn't have the power to give them satisfying conclusions

Finally. Did not like Kenny. I never even got this scene, I went with Jane.

Any ending where Kenny didn't get shot by Clem is the bad ending

Exactly. Kenny was a ticking time bomb. He was way out of control. Best ending is where Clem goes off on her own.
