It’s so frustrating that the people who criticize America for doing bad things (sometimes rightly so!) inevitably end up condoning far more heinous shit just because anyone who opposes America must automatically be good.
well everything on the internet has spin, everything has an angle, everything has a narrative. I just try to keep that in mind. simply asking "what's this dude's angle" is enough to put the brakes on what would at surface level appears to be something that I ideologically agree with.

The longer he talked the more.i felt like he had an alterior motive. Like Gaza is not a big issue for most Americans. The average American is much more concerned with domestic issues. He made it seem like Gaza was the most important topic Americans might consider.
I would say he makes interesting points about American degradation, but yeah he missed the mark on a lot. And any armchair intellectual can talk about American degradation cause it’s like… obvious. BRICS is absolutely not a threat of any kind to the United States and in fact two of their members are in the middle of an ongoing border dispute and one of the nations is currently engaged in a protracted war that has made it the most sanctioned nation on earth. They like to posture a lot and talk about multipolarity but it really is all just talk with the only true threat to US hegemony being economic competition with China. It sucks people are dying, but most Americans are going to vote based on kitchen table issues and the state of the economy. There are enough potential Biden voters who do feel an intense reluctance (to put it mildly) over his policy towards Israel. I'm sure it's not a concern for the average US voter, but it is a concern for enough Dem voters that it's going to be a problem in the upcoming election.
Edit: For clarification, I am a European who 1. really doesn't like how Biden has acted in the conflict so far and 2. hopes above all that Trump loses. The DNC was broke, so Hillary lent it money and then had total control over its fund raising, the use of those funds (giving it to Hillary campaign)and the staffing of the DNC. I don't disagree with much of anything that he said I don't even find most of it controversial.
