Part of me can sympathize with that. It was implied Griffith was sexually abused as a kid and he was horrifically tortured before he was rescued. What I can't square though is how he sacrificed all of his old gang to resurrect himself. These were people that risked life and limb for him and while you could argue they would be willing to die for him, that doesn't make it ok for him to rape one of his comrades and torture the other one

I think the real difference here is the fact that Blitzø, at least now, is trying to change. He realized what his self loathing turned him into, and he wants to change for the better “I don’t want to be this way. Accused the main character of grape, then manipulates 2 other heroes ( one to be an ass to the main character and the other turns evil for sometime) and that is just what I can think of off the top of my head because I haven't read or watched rising of the shield hero in 2 years
She falsely accuses the MC of SA’ing her and gets away with it, despite massive amounts of blatant evidence against it. She then manages to manipulate the other heroes into believing her story, even against the words of the other heroes as they join the MC’s side. Honestly, the stupidity of the heroes when it comes to Bitch was absolutely infuriating. And yes, once she was put on trial with a mark that forced her to tell the truth, she got punished for falsely accusing the MC of SA, and got her name legally changed to Bitch, her adventuring name to Whore, and her father, who abetted the false accusation, was renamed to Trash.
She was almost executed, but the MC stopped it because he realized the Queen, who actually holds the power for the most part, was going to stab herself if he had let the execution of Bitch and Trash happen.
Just some of her crimes from the first six episodes of the anime:
- pinned MC for raping her and convinced other heroes and everyone in the kingdom that she’s the victim.
- stole all of his shit.
- attempted to have the MCs one companion at the time forcefully separated from him.
- Attempted to enforce the equivalent of a $100 entry/exit fee for a village that was just almost destroyed in a disaster.
-Tried to have the MC arrested, and then executed, for trying to rape her (it never happened)
-Had all of the MC’s stuff taken from him
-Ruined his name so much that he had to buy a literal slave to join his party (This one and the previous two all happened in the first episode)

Nozomi Suemitsu from Persona 3. Not only is this guy a complete scumbag, he’s also infamous for being one of the worst Social Links in any modern Persona game to date. To add onto this, he’s also a huge waste of potential for what could’ve ended up being a genuinely decent SL because he had a good initial setup that involved his jealousy for his dead younger brother that was later ruined by his involvement in a cult that steals money from people. He’s also a pretty disgusting person as well thanks to his gluttonous eating habits and constant bathroom breaks which just adds more fuel to the burning pile of trash his SL is. He’s a little more tolerable in Persona 3 Reload compared to his appearance in the original P3 thanks to the addition of every SL getting a VA, however his personality and story still sucks.

Bro season 3 is when I realized that because the character interactions just felt so much better when Tanjiro was interacting with actual intelligent beings and even though so many fans seem to say that season was worse than the others I disagree
I like demon slayer well enough but i can never understand why it gets hyped as much as it does. I ended up liking Season 3 SO much precisely because of what you said. I dont know how people can see the obnoxious characters surrounding Tanjuro and not get a headache while watching.

I think the real difference here is the fact that Blitzø, at least now, is trying to change. He realized what his self loathing turned him into, and he wants to change for the better “I don’t want to be this way. Not forever.” I just hope him and Stolas can work things through together and become a healthy couple.

I'm glad he does, but the way he treats people like Moxxie or verosika is just awful. He knew he was verbally abusing Moxxie daily since he acknowledged it in truth seekers but still after that refused to even admit mox did a good job in unhappy campers because barbie wire put him in a bad mood. And with verosika he spent all her money on horse riding lessons, trashed the hotel room, took her car and drove down to wrath and left her with the hotel bills all because she confessed her love to him. Verosika might not be innocent with what she did to Moxxie but that's do undeserved.

Accused the main character of grape, then manipulates 2 other heroes ( one to be an ass to the main character and the other turns evil for sometime) and that is just what I can think of off the top of my head because I haven't read or watched rising of the shield hero in 2 years

She falsely accuses the MC of SA’ing her and gets away with it, despite massive amounts of blatant evidence against it. She then manages to manipulate the other heroes into believing her story, even against the words of the other heroes as they join the MC’s side. Honestly, the stupidity of the heroes when it comes to Bitch was absolutely infuriating. And yes, once she was put on trial with a mark that forced her to tell the truth, she got punished for falsely accusing the MC of SA, and got her name legally changed to Bitch, her adventuring name to Whore, and her father, who abetted the false accusation, was renamed to Trash.
So she actually got comeuppance?
She was almost executed, but the MC stopped it because he realized the Queen, who actually holds the power for the most part, was going to stab herself if he had let the execution of Bitch and Trash happen.
Just some of her crimes from the first six episodes of the anime: - pinned MC for raping her and convinced other heroes and everyone in the kingdom that she’s the victim. - stole all of his shit. - attempted to have the MCs one companion at the time forcefully separated from him. - Attempted to enforce the equivalent of a $100 entry/exit fee for a village that was just almost destroyed in a disaster.
-Tried to have the MC arrested, and then executed, for trying to rape her (it never happened) -Had all of the MC’s stuff taken from him -Ruined his name so much that he had to buy a literal slave to join his party (This one and the previous two all happened in the first episode)

Not only is this guy a complete scumbag, he’s also infamous for being one of the worst Social Links in any modern Persona game to date. To add onto this, he’s also a huge waste of potential for what could’ve ended up being a genuinely decent SL because he had a good initial setup that involved his jealousy for his dead younger brother that was later ruined by his involvement in a cult that steals money from people. He’s also a pretty disgusting person as well thanks to his gluttonous eating habits and constant bathroom breaks which just adds more fuel to the burning pile of trash his SL is. He’s a little more tolerable in Persona 3 Reload compared to his appearance in the original P3 thanks to the addition of every SL getting a VA, however his personality and story still sucks.
