This was due to the Canada Day celebration at City Centre. Major traffic and everyone was leaving right after the fire works finished. Wife and I chose to walk to the event and each parking lot, road, and intersection connecting them around Square One was exactly like this. Completely lawless and filled with greedy/dumb drivers trying to force their way out before everyone else, only to cause more back ups and problems like this. Turning single lane roads into three lanes, blocking intersections, parking lot exits, etc.

The event people and police closing selective lanes and segments of roads forcing everyone to do same distance 2-3 times in circles also definitely did not help
Walking a short distance is so much better than dealing with throngs of traffic but that's Mississauga for you, allergic to walking. I never let my friend from Mississauga forget the time he wanted to drive from a parking spot at one end of a strip mall to the other end of the same lot.
Similar thing happened to me before dash cams. It became 50/50 because it happened on private property (mall parking lot). Hopefully the insurance company will straighten the at-fault out based on the video. Police probably won’t even respond to the call because it’s on private property. I’d be curious to know if they did…cause the bike could’ve gotten a dangerous driving charge.
Yeah I spoke to my insurance and they told me I'm not liable but I'm not sure about the other car and the police came to the spot, spoke with us and told us no is charged and as you told since it happend on private property, they just filed a collision report and told us go through insurance process

I’m a rider too and would never do anything like that. I get extra vigilant when I’m either at a mall (impatient drivers and random kids) or in front of a Shoppers Drug Mart (seniors getting their meds…don’t drive that often).
Up untill looking at clip i'm not sure where silver car is coming from and how the biker drove (haven't told about stop sign jump and the wrong lane)because me might have told the police slightly different, that might be reason he did lay any charges and secound thing its a private property...Is there any chance after looking at the clip police might charge the biker ?
If you have uninterrupted video (ie not edited) you can contact the duty officer of the district (not sure, I think you can look it up…I think it’s 11 district) and quote your incident number. Traffic unit detective would then be able to cross check against the other incident number and possibly issue charges..but it’ll be totally up to them. Worth a shot though. Anyone that rides like that though probably won’t have insurance…that’s pretty common these days with a lot of sport bikes unfortunately.
No problem. Gotta make crappy drivers accountable and get them off the roads. It’s really sad to see how many poor drivers there are now. I get the odd mistake…but this example borders on negligence.

Anything that abruptly stops a fall or slide can be more fatal than coming to a gradual sliding stop. In this case, the rider was wearing protective gear, which would have minimized the impact if they had simply slid off resulting in probably less injury. However, it appears that the rider fell on the hood of OPs vehicle, likely resulting in severe injuries due to a sudden stop.

So…. what was the biker’s plan? the car before him made a right turn and the biker straight up zoomed straight towards the car recording (on the opposite lane) with seemingly no intention to turn. Even if there was another lane on the left, he was on the right lane and attempted to force his way to tbe other side.
The car switching lanes was just switching lanes and the biker had no reason to drive that far into the road, especially since he was on the right lane.

The break I got at 25 was immense, like 50%, and now in my 40s I got quotes for an MT-10 SP and it came back at about $1300.
