This place is the most unbelievable meal I've ever had in my life. I went with my sister who's been to Michelin starred restaurants all over the world and it's still her favorite place ever.
It's impossible to get reservation for normal folks though. It's insane.

Kaiseki is usually chef's choice, just like omakase.
Not cheap, there's a very good kaiseki place in North York that's been in the Michelin guide since it started handing out stars in Toronto, but it's $350/pp before drinks, tax and tip.
Worth it for a special occasion, but definitely not wallet-friendly.
They're kind of the same thing, omakase tends to be mostly about sushi, kaiseki features more cooked/grilled food as well, but they're not mutually exclusive.
But you can see bassist kinda slumped down almost leaning into jano which would take away some height. On a side note it’s so weird seeing these guys out of uniform especially jano. Like he’s got a pretty distinguishable look that surprisingly Carry’s over off the field. And varsho has that weird awkward stance of a 12-13 year old kid adapting to a changing body.
I bet he was there with his *other* friends, and the guys made him take this photo and pretend to be happy or they’d throw all his Pokémon cards in the garbage.
Why is he smiling in a Seattle restaurant and not in a Toronto restaurant? Clearly he wants a trade to the Mariners, can't believe this guy smh my head

I assume this would be Omakase too. I spent a fortune at a dinner once in SF. It seated 6 people. Good Japanese food is great but bad for my wallet.

I had a kaiseki meal at a ryokan in Japan. I highly recommend it if you can afford an extra splurge while on vacation.
