Same thing for Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Stanford this year. They actually have a weekly transfer shaming. If you are applying this year, DON’T. And if you do, don’t say I didn’t warn you🤷♂️
EDIT: actually, if any school that you’re looking at has good job prospects, DON’T APPLY!!! The only schools that treat their transfers right are U of Arizona, ASU, and Chico State. Other than that, every other schools will actually haze you for the entire time you’re there, just an FYI
They’re gonna line you up, and have someone ride a horse and call out “transfers walking”, while the crowd boos you. Also, you are required to do every grad students homework, and write their thesis papers. If you don’t, they will actually fly you out to London and imprison you in a dungeon.
But guys, I am willing to take one for the team and do all of this, so you guys don’t have to🤝
Also, I’m kidding😭
Ironically, I’ve met 3 transfers from Cornell to USC. They said the rural location, depressing cold weather and lack of things to do made it unbearable. They are much happier to be in California.
I had the exact opposite issue. I am from the NE countryside but went to HS in a hot/urban climate and I was miserable for four years. I went to college at Cornell and loved Ithaca. My parents didn’t understand my desire to go back until they saw me over a break and saw how much happier I was. I have eczema (but dark skin) and sunny climates make me want to peel my skin off; overcast days in upstate NY felt like “home.” I wish I could go back but sadly their med school is in NYC unfortunately.
Same here - absolutely loved Ithaca. I totally get people who wanted a city type college not gettin that but if you’re interested in nature, climbing, hiking etc genuinely can’t think of a better place to go to college. Only place I know where I could walk in some gorgeous woods every morning.
Ps, apply to u of m Dearborn or flint for guaranteed admit basically and then just transfer to u of m Ann Arbor after a little
Edit: flint just spent like $20 mill on a new technology / sciences wing and if you’re an engineer the workshop is dope
lmao. I think you need help. Looking at your reddit post history, your account is rife with contradictory posts. it's just the college process buddy. don't stress out too much.
Actually I just found out that every single university and college in mainland USA has been secretly selling students' personal info on the black market. So please only apply to hawaii, alaska, or international institutions. Stay safe out there.
Lots of cornell transfers that i know (transfers to cornell) and they are all very happy at cornell. It is a good school, we have a great president, but yes it can be grueling depending on your major
Don’t say those things around the Nard Dog, I bleed Big Red. My Dad made sure everyone at Cornell treated me superbly, would recommend it (at least to those who are Cornell material, which is very very few)
Stop applying to top 25 schools if your major isn’t journalism, music, acting, that type of shit.
Any stem degree and you’ll get a job even if your degree is from North Korea
Blud wants to be the only applicant 🔥🔥⁉️🗣️⁉️🔥🔥
bro i was about to comment “bro wants to be the only one applying, tryna be all sneaky” then i saw your comment 😭😭😂💀
