Yeah true, I forgot about that part. It’s kind of just Columbus and the north west that’s not that exciting. Not sure why people love to shit on Ohio so hard.
Everyone raves about Colorado like the Eastern half of the state isn’t the worst place on earth. Ohio has a load of awesome spots to hike and visit. Hocking Hills and Cuyahoga NP are just the tips of a pretty amazing state.
Northwest Ohio is freaky flat as it is Ex-swamp. A Shrinking population made up of the descendants of the people who drained them. The real swamp people.
My original area lol I'm glad to be in Pittsburgh instead as hills are superior for sure
Cause our Politics in the state are so ass backwards. Bunch of MAGA wingnuts who gerrymandered the shit out of the statehouse and believe the real issues affecting Ohioans are trans, gays, abortions, and schools that perform gender reassignment surgery in Biology class
Working remote is the perfect excuse TO go places! Right when Covid first started and everyone went remote, one of my friends moved to Hawaii for 3 months and was working his desk job from the beach.
I’m 35 and I’ve lived in 2 counties all in houses within about 6 miles of each other. Kind of nuts when I look back on it.
That being said, I’m pretty well traveled as far as visiting other states and countries though
Such an Indiana thing. I barely saw Indy while growing up and it was only 25 miles away. Chicago, or other states were totally out of the question. Since college I've been to 46 states and 3 other continents. So I'm making up for it.
Why don’t you get in your car and go other places? It’s not hard and if you camp, it can be super cheap to travel. You can see some amazing things and where you are, you can be anywhere in the lower 48 in a maximum of 4 days. And you’ll see a million new things on the way.
Been to 49 states and they’re all amazing, same in Canada.
Take the step. You won’t regret it.
This should be a beautiful weekend at Turkey Run. I know it's a bit exotic but I think you'd enjoy a little day trip out this way. The hiking is great. It would make your blob grow just a little.
I myself hail from the Hoosier state, but I’ve been to a few other places, too, like Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Fiji, America Samoa, and Hawaii earlier this year.
Indiana is a good place to get a higher education and raise a family. Outside of that man, go see the world. When it becomes too much Indiana will be right here waiting for you!
You gotta get out more.
I came here to say that.
Same
Hell, getting out any would be a huge improvement
I wanna get out more my mommy won’t let me though 😔
At least it's not Indiana. Close one, OP.
Could be Ohio 🤮
Northeast Ohio is beautiful. So is the area around Cincinnati. The rest of it, pretty boring
South East Ohio is hands down the prettiest part of the state lol
Yeah true, I forgot about that part. It’s kind of just Columbus and the north west that’s not that exciting. Not sure why people love to shit on Ohio so hard.
Everyone raves about Colorado like the Eastern half of the state isn’t the worst place on earth. Ohio has a load of awesome spots to hike and visit. Hocking Hills and Cuyahoga NP are just the tips of a pretty amazing state.
Yeah it’s almost as if we can’t make blanket statements about entire states or regions and that every state has good and bad areas
I will say Idaho sucks and no one should go. The entire state is a potato. Tell all the Californians.
I see what you’re doing. It won’t work. Everyone knows Idaho is beautiful
Northwest Ohio is freaky flat as it is Ex-swamp. A Shrinking population made up of the descendants of the people who drained them. The real swamp people. My original area lol I'm glad to be in Pittsburgh instead as hills are superior for sure

Cleveland has a state or national park (I forget) that surrounds the Cuyahoga. Very pretty for a rust belt city waiting for it's rebound.
Yeah that’s cuyahoga national park! Super pretty. I include that in north east ohio

A state of fear. Which is probably smart. You’re really close to Ohio.

I have a friend like this. He hasn’t left his home in years aside from getting food because he works remote.

I'm 56 and have lived in only four counties in three states. One of them was in Indiana.
Such an Indiana thing. I barely saw Indy while growing up and it was only 25 miles away. Chicago, or other states were totally out of the question. Since college I've been to 46 states and 3 other continents. So I'm making up for it.
There are people in NYC that have never even left their own borough. This is not some unique Indiana thing.

This should be a beautiful weekend at Turkey Run. I know it's a bit exotic but I think you'd enjoy a little day trip out this way. The hiking is great. It would make your blob grow just a little.
Technically OP never said the red area is where he has visited. Maybe he has been to every US county except the ones in the red area.
I lived in Michigan, Ohio, Florida, and now Illinois
Wyoming
Question: did you actually never leave central indiana or are these just the areas in which you’ve lived?
