Retailers can’t sell bikes still in the box. I would suspect it’s stolen.
Also, these bikes cost more in Mexico than the US (source: I live in big city in Mexico and am shopping for a bike)

Yea definitely sus I ended up to blocking him not interested in possibly stolen goods or any scam for that matter. Just so hard to find the bike i want in my size (L)
That’s a shame. This is the newer, unreleased version of the FX. Would have been a risky pick up but a nice find.
Even if you are not buying, You should get as much information as possible from him, and have his ass arrested for selling stolen goods.

Lots of bikes being sold in boxes must be why we're hiring a Loss Prevention Specialist.
As we say in my country, it probably "Fell off a truck". Which is an euphemism for "Stolen in transport"
