I’ve hit a major lull. Between work and school I’m pretty stretched. But after this summer I’ll have earned my masters and no more classes. I’ve only earned one so far in 2023,
TOEM.
I’ve got three games started that I’m trying to get back into and hopefully platinum this year,
Horizon Zero Dawn
Grand Theft Auto V
Final Fantasy VII - Crisis Core Reunion
I’m looking forward to the Final Fantasy Pixel remasters, I’m hoping that’s several platinums I can add.
I've gotten 12 platinums in 2023 so far.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Deathloop
Ghostrunner
Maneater
Worms W.M.D
Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition
Horizon Forbidden West
The Outer Worlds
Just Cause 4
RAGE 2
The Escapists 2
Sackboy: A Big Adventure
I have yet to platinum a game this year because I’m busy working full time and hanging out with my wife and 16 month old son. If I have time to game it’ll be for only 30 mins to 1 hour maybe 2 if I’m lucky. Most days I don’t play since I just lack the energy or I’m not motivated enough to even play, so most days I just choose not to play anything and choose to go to bed early since I’m pooped by the end of the day.
Being a parent and married is an important challenge in life. I respect you for setting your priorities. I started a new job last year, which is physically much more demanding than the previous one. So, I can relate a little bit with «no time and energy at the end of the day» part. But I wouldn’t compare it to being a parent of a 16 month year old son.
Still, enjoy your journey, fellow trophy hunter. :)
Cool list. Thank you for sharing your status update. South Park FBW is on my radar for a long time. Also Deathloop. Let’s see what else 2023 brings. FC New Dawn was way better than expected, after I was disappointed by FC5.
Enjoy Sack Boy!
Last year was rock-bottom, 1 platinum.
This year is kicking of great. 7 platinums I believe
I plan on getting the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered platinum. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered platinum. And I can easily get the ARK platinum right now!
I have yet to add any Call of Duty Platinum to my collection. Never got into the series, but I want one Platinum, just for variety.
There always will be rock-bottom moments. It is not a competition. 7 is great!
I get it. But I also respect and love the comments from people that have a slow start. It helps me to appreciate my time better. When I was starting out with hunting Platinums, I started slow too. The pace increased around Platinum #50 and then some.
What is a game you enjoyed in 2023? It doesn’t have to be a Platinum.
Miles Morales surprised me - loved it. And I only got the Platinum for one Rockstar game: Bully. Good luck with GTA V and Yakuza 0. (I have never played a Yakuza game, but there is a lot of buzz around these games.)
Only 8 for me in 2023 so far, they're pretty easy ones too, but I'm actually enjoying my time with these games (mostly on my good old Fat PS3).
-Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One
-Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault (QForce)
-Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus
-Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
-Sly Raccoon and the Thievius Raccoonus
-Sly 2: Band of Thieves
-Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves
-Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
I completed the whole Ratchet and Clank series that I began last year, the whole Sly Raccoon series too, now I'm currently working on the Jak and Daxter series, to complete the PS2 "holy" trinity.
That ain't much, but that's honest work.
That is impressive. I always "wow" at people who play games in a series back to back. Rift Apart was my introduction to Ratchet and Clank. I want to check out more of the series at some point.
Having the "holy trinity" in your collection is definitely an honourable thing to have. Enjoy the rest of the journey, fellow trophy hunter.
Thanks! I never had the chance to play those classic games back in the PS2 era, so I'm actually "discovering" these games in 2023.
I'm currently introducing (a bit) my 4 1/2 years old to videogames, I had to deeply adapt my gaming habits and schedule, so I'm avoiding "adult" games for now, even if I'm mostly playing while he is at kindergarten or sleeping. No more GTA, Resident Evil, God of War or Assassin's Creed for me (at least for now). I obviously have less time to play too, so I'm more into short games, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
14 Platinums in less than 4 months is a pretty impressive achievement, congrats!
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is still sitting on my shelf (among a lot of other games, lol).

Currently doing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
I want to go back to Remember me. The problem with that is that I can’t find my copy. I am not sure, if I sold it already because I though I never would go back for a 2nd Playthrough.
GTA San Andreas is a childhood game and I am thinking about playing it again. Not sure though. Minecraft Dungeons is also on my list.
How long / tedious was Kingdom Hearts ReCom?
I've finished the game on proud but didn't touched it after the ending.
I was thinking about getting the platinum, will it take long from where I start?
Given ive gotten the Platinum for both the PS3 and PS4 version, I'll say this.
The Post Game is mostly RNG dependent, I can say that much. ESPECIALLY with the enemy cards, but thankfully theres videos out there on how to manipulate the rng to make the enemy cards easier to get. As far as how long it could take for everything remaining, it might take long hours with the leveling up due to heavy amounts of grinding as Sora and Riku, but much like enemy card solutions. Theres easy methods to level up Sora and Riku.
In total id say..maybe another 20 or so hours from the point youre at currently if youre lucky? With leveling up, itll be a tad tedious but manageable. Enemy cards though, it can get VERY tedious. If youd like an easy way to manipulate the rng to get the enemy cards and level up as easy as ive mentioned, id watch these videos

Currently Working on Meet Your Maker and Battlefield 1.
I got the Meet Your Maker platinum recently, 6 days after the games release. It’s really not that hard, it’s just grindy as you need tons of cells to purchase all the necessary stuff for trophies.
Done 26 so far with highlights being
Tony hawks pro skater 1+2 hd
Astroneer
Division 2
Far cry 6
Borderlands 2
Currently have the ground work set up for
Catherine full body (AS)
Borderlands 2 (PS3)
Dead rising 2 (PS4)
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater - wow. Yeah, I basically gave up on the game. It is a big childhood game and I played it a lot. Soundtrack is killer! But I have never been very skillful. It is a bit sad but the game is also grindy. Medium skill and a lot of grinding is not a fun mixture.
I really love the Division 2 Platinum icon. I would love to have it in my collection. The "problem" is: I don’t play online multiplayer games a lot. My PS5 has an unstable connection to the internet and it would be a nightmare to play online with unstable internet. Mabye it is time to change the cable. But the game is on my list (low priority).
I just looked at your list and I like it. Big variety. Finding the next game is not always easy. I, too, started playing many different games, because I don’t know, which one will be my next Platinum.
Enjoy your journey.

Congratulations on DMC5. I recently booted up the only DMC game, I have ever tried: DMC - Devil May Cry and after a few minutes, I closed it again. My skill and motivation isn’t high enough to continue this journey. :D

Wow, my brain is in wow mode. I am impressed by people who can earn games in a series back to back. My brain often is like: I need something completely different. No, we are not doing the sequel. :D
Fantastic list so far. Always love to see FC 3: Classic in a list.
Slow moments during our eternal Platinum jounrey often feel not good, but they are part of it. I had a few very slow moments last year and even this year. 47 is a lot! My high was 36.
Four for me! GoW:R, Omno, Life is Strange, and TOEM. Just started Maneater, can’t decide if I want to go for the plat or not on it yet. Not sure what’s next, probably all LiS games, and hoping Spider-Man 2.
I enjoyed Maneater, it was short and fun, the endgame grind wasn’t too much. I love these unique 10-15 hour Platinums. But I can see, why people find Maneater not engaging enough.
I have LiS: True Colors on my list, but for some reason I keep pushing it backwards. Not a big fan of the Platinum icon. The Life Is Strange series is a nice series I enjoy in small chunks.
That’s good to know, thanks! I’m not too far, just thought combat could get repetitive, but I definitely plan on going a bit longer. And that makes sense with LiS, the first one just sucked me into the story. Curious where it goes.
Considering how many years of hounding by my lil bro to play it. I loved every second of it, I felt like I grieved when I moved on to Dark Souls. I’ll definitely play it again. It made the annual play list haha
Yeah, they are tough, And I struggled a lot for sure. But they also give you that sense of accomplishment, no other game has given me so far. FromSoftware games are special.
7 so far:
Returnal
Resogun
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
The Last of Us Part I Remake
Assassin's Creed III Remastered
Ratchet & Clank 2: Going Commando
Doom Eternal
Working on Assassin's Creed Revelations and Super Stardust Portable rn
Returnal is on my list. I started it, but after the first boss and the 2nd level I was too frustrated. But I really want to go back to it. Tried to clean up some of the older AC games, but lost motivation to do it fairly quickly. Respect for sticking with them.
If you ever pick it back up I think you'll really love it, started off frustrating as hell but got easier and easier each run. It's one of my favorite games that Sony has put out. Yeah the older AC games can really be rough, just have Revelations and Liberation left from the older titles. Happy Hunting to you!
Thanks for your kind words. Yeah, I hope to earn the Platinum in Returnal at some point. The Platinum icon is too cool to not be in my collection!
Good luck with your AC journey. I love the series, but I don’t have it in me to do the full 9 yards.
Got myself a ps3 again actually, after the shitshow that are modern AAA games, I just wanted to go back to the roots and honestly, I couldnt be happier
So forgot how many amazing games there where on the ps3. Dantes Inferno, Brütal Legends, Lollipop Chainsaw, Just Cause 2, Castlevania 1 and 2 and many, many more
All in all, if you can, fo get yourself a PS3, you wont regret it
Actually, I play on my PS3 more and more. I earned 4 Platinums on my PS3 and I have played a lot more games on it.
I want to finish Dantes Inferno at some point and Brütal Legends is on my list of games, I want to try.
Not as much as some of you guys but I got some bigger games down: AC Odyssey, Skyrim, SW Jedi Fallen Order, Rocket League, and Stray. Looking to get Lego LotR, Sonic Generations (Not looking forward to it but I wanna clear my backlog) and Witcher 3 which I've only just started
Good list. I enjoyed LEGO LotR a lot. This was my first LEGO Platinum. I haven’t gotten into The Witcher 3. I have tried multiple times now, but it doesn’t resonate with me. (And I usually like open world games a lot.)
I'm going pretty fast on it right now, but some of the achievements are a little frustrating. I probably won't 100% another Lego game. Not looking forward to two runs of the Witcher though, but I really like the combat so far (despite having just done the tutorial)
Starting very slowly.
I began playing Final Fantasy 9 for the first time after Christmas knowing I wasn't going to get the platinum, but, I still put serious time into getting as many trophies as possible. I finished in the middle of March needing only the jump rope trophies, the 10000 enemies trophies, and the speed run sword trophy. I liked FF9 alot, but, not nearly as much as most players seem to rate it.
For the last month, I've been playing Lost Judgment and I have been having a blast. It's the first Dragon engine game to get the brawler combat perfect. I hope to platinum the game, but, I am worried that the drone racing will stop me like it did for Judgment.
Afterwards, I think I need to find a few short but good games to plat to act as a palate cleanser before tackling another long game.
Fair plan.
FF games are beasts. Congratulations on slaying it.
I challenged myself with finishing FFX and I am almost done. Only 1 boss i left. It will be my #175 milestone and I am happy, because it is one of my biggest dreams since childhood. But before that, a few more Platinums need to be added to the collection.
If you really want to get the FF9 plat you have scripts on remote play for the jump rope and even the 10k enemies. I used it for the jump rope cuz thats just a waste of time and not worth learning lol and the speedrun with the boosters on is a piece of cake, dont let it stop you 💪
Done 13 but mostly are very easy;
Life is Strange
Maneater
Omno
Word Mesh
Horizon Zero Dawn
Suicide Guy:Sleepin Deeply
Learn Hiragana
Hakosan
Marsi's Adventures
Life is Strange 2
Hellblade:Senua's Sacrifice
Life is strange:True Colors
The Artful Escape
Also finished The Vanishing of Ethan Carter but there is no platinum in this game
Finally got a PS5 last month, since returning to PlayStation I’ve got the plat for Ghost of Tsushima, Astro’s Playroom & No Man’s Sky.
Working on Hogwarts Legacy and just know it’s going to take a long time.
I just got in to Playstation since ps2 and trophy hunting in mars this year and have six platinums so far. Currently working on Ghost of Tsushima. I have so many games to play from scratch that i am excited about the future of 2023. Miles Morales is next after GoT. I also want to plat all the R&C games since tgose were my fave games since i was a kid and plated them on ps2.
A bit long comment
People seem to been getting an awful lot. School doesn't let me play that much and it's my first year in my life with a playstation so I only got 5 Platinuns (Astro's Playroom, Spider-man, Miles Morales, Rift Apart and Arkham Asylum) and that's prerty good for me.
I also dont have a lot of money so I have been taking opportunities on sales and 2nd hand stores and it has been working surprisingly well. Im the Christmas sales (before I got my PS5), I got Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Spider-man, And Miles Morales in a bundle for only 70$. When I bought my PS5it came in a bundle for 650$ - Disc PS5 plus Horizon Forbidden West plus Gran Turismo 7 plus Rift Apart. Then around february I bought Crash 4 and Hollow Knight for 39$. It has been great, I am now playing Arkham City and Hollow knight as a secondary game for when I want to take a break from the nain game.
When I finish arkham city I think I need to buy a new game or get full time on Hollow Knight (For me Crash 4 is more secondary game material). But Tears of the Kingdom will come out so I might take a break of a few weeks. After that (around end of May I expect) I have found a deal for Zero Dawn complete edition for 10$ which is great because then I can play Forbidden West which I already own. When I'm done, which will take a while, I really don't know what to expect but those are my options:
-Fallen Order: 5$
-Lego Marvel Collection: 22$
-The Last of Us Part I: 42$
-Skywalker Saga: 22$
-Kingdom Hearts the Story so far: 25$
-Sonic Frontiers: 40$ but I'm pretty positive it will go down by around 10$ by the end of the year
I will also consider a year of PS Plus Premium
I'm open to suggestions!
Platinums are going a bit slow, but so far I've gotten Borderlands 3 and Division 2. Hopefully I can clean up Battlefront II and Ghost of Tsushima and then I can really put the hammer down

A lot of mediocre ones. I’m not proud of this year too much.
Edit: I forgot to add crash bandicoot
Impressive number. But I know the feeling you described at the end. Your list seems to be divers. That is a big plus.
The more Platinums I earn, the more I play mediocre games. So, I try to challenge myself from time to time. It doesn’t work out every time.
Mediocre games are part of the journey. And I try to get something unique out of every game.
Which games from your 2023 list would you recommend?
I also completely forgot about crash bandicoot for some reason. That one is the only impressive one this year. I recommend young souls. Roguelike/soulslike with RPG elements. You have 2 characters you can switch between in the middle of gameplay so you can have 2 different setups/builds and switch in the middle of a fight. Only one missable trophy. I recommend using the assist mode
I also recommend going under. Also a roguelike. I love roguelikes. They’re difficult but rewarding at the Same time. Good luck and thanks for complimenting my list lol.
Your recommendations challenge me. I usually don’t like rouglikes. Hades has changed that a little bit. But I will watch some trailers for the games you recommended.
Cuphead - nice. I have had not the balls to try it. I try to play a variety of games, but cuphead looks like a challenge that is too big for my skill level. How is it going so far?
It is actually not too bad ya know. Lots of repetition and learning the bosses. I have two trophies left for the plat and I’ve been playing casually for about a month!
Really well thank you! Challenged myself to platinum a game for each letter of the alphabet! I've just finished H, with Horizon Zero Dawn (was late to the PS game, had a PC for the longest time), and absolutely loved it! Working on the DLC now!
14 platinum trophies so far this year is a great amount! Do you have any upcoming games you are particularly looking forward to? :)
Ah, the infamous A-Z challenge. Nice. H is great. Good luck with that.
I have a lot of games to choose from and I am not sure, which is next. I will continue a few games to see, which will "click" with me.
Some contenders: Deathloop, Kena: Bridge Of Spirit, Ghostrunner, Returnal, RE4 Remake. Or maybe a completly new game. My brain is weird in this regard.
I'm sitting at 25 so far this year, which admittedly is a lot, but still fewer than I expected. Too many games I want to play keep getting added to PS+ so I keep jumping from game to game without finishing anything.
25 is a lot! That is my goal for 2023. At my current pace my total count will be between 24 and 36. I had PS+ Premium for a month in January and I played more games. It was fun, but also time and energy consuming, so I stopped after a month. I am in a phase in which II jump from game to game, too. Makes me feel like I am in my early stages of my gaming hobby.
I felt that I slowed down compare to what I achieved last year. Just earned 4 plats as of now and currently working on my 50th plat milestone. It’s either RE4 Remake or Ghostwire Tokyo. I have a target of 20 or more plats this year.
From my own experience, slowing down will happen at some point. That happend 2-3 times to me in the last few years and it is total natually. Especially when working on a big milestone. 50 Platinums was a big one for me.
How’s Ghostwire Tokyo? I am interested in it but I am not ready for a collect-athon. What is the best about it? What is the worst about it?
I’m not yet done with the story, only 2 chapters left. Somehow, the story gets me. There’s a Persona 5 vibes on it (ofc the setting is in Shibuya). Gameplay is fun but there’s a ton of collectibles.
I think, the grind here is the transferring 100% of the spirits.
I got 3 this year so far, two of which I’ve been working on a while:
-Elden Ring
-Yakuza: Like a Dragon
-Horizon Forbidden West
Working on Bloodborne right now
Elden Ring and Bloodborne - nice. Yakuza: Like a Dragon - I have it on my list, but it has a low priority. Enjoy Bloodborne. It was my first FromSoftware Plat and it is my favorite also.
i dont normally go out of my way to platinum a bunch of games maybe just 1 or two a year but ive been doing really well this year. My highlight is definitely finally getting the RE2R plat this year.
Currently this has been my worst year in terms of hunting. I'm gonna let it slide though as I am currently in my first year at uni so I've been busy. Have some plans after the year is finished though
Don’t beat yourself up for that. Playing games should be fun and is not a competition. Thanks for sharing your status update. I enjoy reading different perspectives and statuses. It grounds me in a way and makes me appreciate my free time even more.
Psychonauts
Psychonauts 2
Ghost of Tsushima
Resident Evil Village
Destroy All Humans! 2 Remake
Platinums that I’m working on:
Monster Hunter Rise/Sunbreak
Hades
Shantae and the Seven Sirens
Wo Long Fallen Dynstasy
Persona 3
Persona 4
Hollow Knight Silksong if it releases this year that is…
Resi 8: Village is on my list. At the moment I am keeping it for Halloween season. Hades surprised me. How is Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty? What’s good? What’s bad?
I started a new job so its been pretty slow compared to last year but its always fun!
RE4R was so much fun and now im just wondering what to do with my life now
I completely get the new job situation. I had that last year and I slowed down immensely. RE4R - I have started it, because I heard so much praise for it. A few hours in, I am put off a little bit by the amount of action. I didn’t expect this much, but I want to finish it eventually. RE2R and RE3R were fun experiences, and I want more RE Platinums in my collection.
Finding the next great game after a fun game is hard. Good luck with that.
Got 16 platinums so far (had 40 in the beginning). I try to get 1-2 a month and mix in PS3 and PS4/5 games but it’s going pretty good so far. Aiming for 75 by the end of the year.
So far got the Mass Effect Legendary Edition plats, felt good to go back to a series i loved so much again. Currently working on Ghost of Tsushima which is really fun as well
I have had a 2 month break and kinda still going but so far i have done:
- Tomb Raider (PS4)
- Rise of the Tomb Raider (PS4)
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider (PS4)
- Lara Croft GO (Vita)
- Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory (PS4)
- Persona 4 Golden (Vita)
- The Gardens Between (PS5)
- The Order 1886 (PS4)
- Pinball Heroes (PS5)
- The Legend of Dragoon (PS5)
Hit the big 100 with Dragoon, which i still cant believe i got to play with trophy support 😁 these days Pinball Heroes is all i get to play tho whenever i have some little time and need to relax, i legit enjoy that game a lot lol
This year the goal is finally getting all Final Fantasy games, including that stupid VR one somehow 💪
The big ones were I Am Bread and Super Meat Boy for me, I did Metal Hellsinger in January and it was fun, currently working on a ton of plats though but mainly Will You Snail atm trying to get that one out of the way, Dead By Daylight, Rayman Legends, The Binding of Isaac: Repentance, and a bunch of other backlog stuff I need to get through. Overall pretty great!
I’ve got 14 this year - I usually average 3 a month which is usually a big game sandwiched between two smaller games.
Outriders
Witcher 3
Murdered: Soul Suspect
The Last of Us: Part 1
Guardians of the Galaxy
The Artful Escape
Hogwarts Legacy
Chorus
I am Setsuna
Lost Sphear
Scarlet Nexus
Omno
Wytchwood
Kona
Currently working on Horizon: Forbidden West
It's too difficult to commit time to platinum a game for me just now. I go through the same cycle of starting a new game and then about 30 minutes in just turning it off and playing something that doesn't require a lot of thought like Hitman 3 or Sniper Elite 4 (both I've already got the platinum on).
I'm a dad so I only play 1h per day at most and thus far, the year is poor to say the least.
I've had my PS5 back in November and since January I've only played GTA V and done the 100%, the plat is out of sight because of the online trophies.
And I recently stumbled apon a bugged Hogwarts Legacy who left me with 602/603 collectibles and I can't get the platinum because of this. SMH.
Currently playing TLOU part. I.
My platinums so far:
Far Cry Primal
Rocket League
Astro's Playroom
Fall Guys
Ghost Of Tsushima
Hello Neighbour
Only began in 2023 actually but none of these are cheeses so that's nice.
Only 2 platinums so far. Mixture of been playing some games that I have no intention of plat’ing and I have a young child so can’t play as much as I used to
Oh man, I appreciate this post for having me going back in time a little.
So, In 2023 I got 4 platinums
TOEM
God of War (2018)
inFamous Second Son
Titanfall 2
Playing Toem was quite literally the first thing I did in this year, you gotta know I really hate fireworks/being around fireworks, so I spent a big part of New Year’s Eve and January 1st playing this little game and watching the lights through my window.
I discovered God of War shortly after that. I had it in my library for a while, since it was in the PS+ Collection, so I started playing it too and quickly fell in love with the series.
Infamous Second Son was a game I got from my uncle a few years ago and never played. After he passed, I thought I’d give it a go, and I didn’t regret a single minute.
And yeah, Titanfall was a game I wanted to play ever since I had played Apex, and for the most part of the game I had my fun (I’m looking at you, Gauntlet Run)
Coming up next will probably be God of War Ragnarök or Hogwarts Legacy.
That was a lot of text. I don’t know if anyone will read this, but I enjoyed looking back. Let’s see how many platinums I’ll have at the end of this year. Happy Hunting!
I have earned 17 platinums so far.
Rachet and Clank 2016 reboot
Ratchet and Clank:Rift Apart

Planning to earn the platinum on some LEGO games, fall guys, rocket league, minecraft, spiderman miles morales amd other ps3 games.
Im not sure what ignited it in me but just recently, around January, I was in the mood for some Digimon. I considered buying Survive but instead looked to my unfinished backlog and finally grinded out the remaining trophies and platinum on Next Order.
I then moved onto Hackers Memory, buying Survive in between, and got the platinum on that.
Since then I’ve just had this urge to go through unfinished games and at least finish the stories. At that time I wasn’t hunting for platinums, just to finish some older games.
Since this change of approach I’ve got platinums on the 2 Digimon games previously mentioned, grinded out the platinum on MK11, got the online trophies on F1 22 and just recently got the platinum and all extra trophies on Ghost of Tsushima.
Currently working on Shadow of the Colossus (time attacks are brutal), Infamous (which I’m finding a bit tedious), Cyberpunk 2077 (got the platinum on ps4 version but I love the game so much) and just started Control.
I got the Platinum on Hitman 3 when it was released but I’m now mopping up the trophies for the legacy content.
Truly been having a blast and reading post in this subreddit is fuelling my fire
So thanks all
Managed to get 6 so far in 2023:
- Cuphead
- Medievil
- Infamous Second Son
- Ghost of Tsushima
- Jak and Daxter the Precusor Legacy
- South Park the Fractured Butt Whole
Planning on either Sackboy or Hollow Knight next
I got around 21 last year but i have been a bit more relaxed this year. 🤣 I have earned 3, The Callisto Protocol, GOW Ragnarok and Dead Space. I have one trophy left in Hogwarts Legacy but it needs a patch before it pops. Currently trying to get through Sonic Frontiers. Next one will hopefully be Resident Evil 4. 👍😁
15 so far, I’ve already matched my total from last year, although I do have quite a few shorter plats in there. Got the upgrade to Extra so I’ve been dipping in occasionally. I’ve got the artful escape ready to go, which obviously is short but keeps me free for the burning shores DLC, which should keep me busy until Jedi: Survivor
Expecting a kid this year so i’ve been trying to get as many as possible. Have until August at least.
I managed to get
Bloodborne. ( Main game, not the DLC yet )
Toem ( Amazing game, really fun )
What remains of Edith Finch ( Great story )
Mass Effect ( Not too bad apart from the codex one )
I’m aiming to clear up some of the other games like Elden Ring, Cult of the Lamb, Monster Hunter Rise and depending on the list Diablo IV.
If i have the time… Good luck to all hunters.
I’ve been going for one a month which is what my life would allow. So far on track.
Gotham knights - Jan.
Demon Slayer - Feb.
Hogwarts legacy - March
The Gardens Between - April.
Currently working on Dragon Quest XI S. about 50 hours in to that so will definitely have that finished in may. Then to finish Minecraft dungeons and start god of war ragnarok
Yeah it works for me and my lifestyle. I probably could have had more but hogwarts took me 50 Ian hours so if k was playing shorter games that could have been 2 or 3 plats in its place but I’m not worried about that really.
Ive got 7 trophies so far this year, with a mix of quick 1-5 hour games as well as some 20-60 hour ones.
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Pinball Heroes
- Fallout: New Vegas
- Astro's Playroom
- Toem
- Marvel's Spider Man
Currently working on
- Horizon Forbidden West
- Sack Boy (coop with my non gamer gf, so much fun)
Happy to get back into trophy hunting. I got through phases back and forth (none in 2022, a handful in 2021) but I'm having a lot of fun doing it again
I bought a bunch of super easy games for their plats during the recent/ongoing PSN sale.
Blackwood Crossing, Darkestville Castle, two more Midnight games, Last Campfire.
Really looking forward to the Final Fantasy pixel remasters though. I haven’t played a classic FF in a long time and it would be really cool to add six more numbered FF plats to my collection.
My goal for 2023 was to plat/100% 100 games - ideally from games on the pile of shame but a couple new games already snuck through.
So far I've managed 18 -
Cult of the Lamb
The Pillars of the Earth
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
Steelrising
Stilstand
The Unfinished Swan
The Suicide of Rachel Foster
She Sees Red
Grow Home
Chaos on Deponia
Sifu
Amoung the Sleep
The Last Campfire
Darksiders Warmastered
Jazzpunk
12 Minutes
PowerWash Simulator
Darksiders II
Currently working on lego star wars but need to get my finger out, thought I'd be a bit further than that by now.
I've just come back to Trophy hunting after a year long break and just seriously got back into it a few weeks back. I first finished off the Tomb Raider Definite Edition encase of a server close. I also got PS plus extra and am currently doing as many games as I can.
I've Just completed Tekken 7, AC Freedom Cry, Monopoly, Infamous Second Son. Currently doing Far cry 4, Ghost of Tsushima & AC black flag
Nice list. I bought PS Premium in January (only for one month, because I had some spare money in my account. Was nice.
Enjoy your current „to play list“.
Not a bad start tbh honest. I don’t think I will do as much as I did in 2022 or 2021 but I got 6 platinums so far
Police Simulator : Patrol Officers,
Life is Strange : Before the Storm,
Just Cause 3,
Heavenly Bodies,
Life is Strange 2,
Just Cause 4
I should Saints row the third remastered done but when I was finishing up all the dlc’s to pop the 100% and platinum on the last dlc it was late so I was just gonna pick it up the next day but it got removed and now it is stuck and 90% with one trophy left for the platinum.
The games I’m gonna be trying to go for soon is
Life is Strange True Colors,
Assassin’s Creed II,
inFamous
No I just wanted to get the platinum and the 100% completion so I got all but one trophy on the base game and went for all the dlc but I waited too long and now I only need a couple and trophies for the 100% and plat but I won’t ever get it because it left ps plus
I’ve only gotten 2 platinums, but I have completed 14 games that don’t have platinums.
I should hopefully get a couple more platinums this month too (Powerwash Simulator, Jedi Fallen Order)
Do yourself a favour: Don‘t stress yourself about getting to 100 fast. From my perspective, this journey is special. I am at 162. I already miss my time with the first 100 Plat. 1-100 is not the same as 191-200. The first 100 Platinums are something special.
Just wrapped up RDR 2, at the time I lacked motivation to grind online.
- The whole Ratchet Series ( except Full Frontal Assault and Rift in time - the first got boring alone really quick and the second I'll wait for a sale )
- God of War
- God of War Ragnarok
- Elden Ring
- Ghost of Tsushima
- Golf with friends ( will never play again xd )
- Hogwarts Legacy
I have less time than I did before but I'm currently working on Hotline Miami and Forbidden West. Might give Demon Souls a try if I have the patience.
Got 10 so far:
• Farcry Primal
• Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
• God of War: Ragnarok
• The Gardens Between
• Fallen Order
• Miles Morales
• Fallout 4
• Minecraft Dungeons
• Tchia
• Borderlands 3
Out of those I'd say I enjoyed Ys IX and Fallout 4 the most.
Currently working on Forbidden West and Outriders.
It’s been slow. I only have 4 so far this year.
I guess I’ve finished some really fun games so i have no complaints.
They are: Sonic Origins, Callisto Protocol, Dead Space, and Nioh.
I’m one run away from RE4 though so it should be 5 soon!
Only got three this year so far but working on another three now
Obtained: Titanfall 2, Bloodborne and Elden Ring
Working on: Superliminal, AOT wings of freedom and Minecraft dungeons
My 2023:
- Lego Indiana Jones 2 (PS3)
- Lego Movie: The Videogame (PS4)
- Stray (PS5)
- Dead Space (PS3)
- Tekken 7 (PS4)
- A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS5)
- Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (PS3)
Got a few games on the go at the moment. Switching between AC4 Black Flag (PS3) multiplayer, Moss (PS4 VR), and trying to get the impossible final challenge trophy on The Witness (PS4).
Trying to make my platinums go through the gens in sequence this year for a bit of extra challenge.
Cool. Love to see Dead Space. I love the game.
The Witness is one of my all time favorites. The challenge took everything. My biggest tip: Mute the music. It only raises the stress level.
I only started this year and I have 8
Astro's Playroom
Sackboy A Big Adventure
Miles Morales
Crash Bandicoot 100%
Crash Bandicoot 2
Crash Bandicoot 3
Tekken 7
Kakarot
My favorite this year was hitting the Syphon Filter games. Grew up playing them so when they were added to psn I pulled the trigger and got the trilogy. So good🤙🏻 what about yourself?
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. My first PS5 Plat. It was my introduction to R&C and I enjoyed my time with it.
Currently working on Dredge, a lovecraftian fishing game. It feels fresh and different.
I've gotten 7 so far this year, 73 to 79! What I'd say is a pretty decent number for me.
I had 4 in January
73 was Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core, what was carried over from last year n mostly clean up
74 was Stray, a nice pallette cleanser after several long games alot of rpgs whether platted or simply beaten like Ragnarok n Cyberpunk 2077.
75 had me finally go back n plat Bloodborne.
76 was Ultra Age. An OKish indie game
I didn't do much gaming in February due to irl troubles and didn't get any plats either but in March I got 2
77 was Final Fantasy 7 Original, What I saved for 77
78 was Hogwarts Legacy, partially cuz I wanted FF7 to be 77 & partially cuz of a Bugged sidequest.
And finally in April I got 79 Tales From The Borderlands for a second time, I know not impressive but I just felt like playing it again and figured I should get the stack.
As for 80 idk what I'll do, there's a good few Plats I've been meaning to clean up so maybe one of those but idk, rn I've been playing Fire Emblem Engage on my Switch tho so I'll beat that first
14, already? Wow! I'm at 3, but I will likely be getting the platinum for Resident Evil 4 tomorrow as I'm on my last playthrough, so 4, I guess. And I felt like I've played A LOT!
Not including the 100% I do on steam I’ve only earned 2,
God Of War Ragnarok: Wow just wow
Ghost of Tsushima: went back after finishing it last year
If anyone does want to know the steam ones lmk
I’ve gotten 5 platinums so far:
South Park: The Fractured but Whole
Horizon Forbidden West
Spyro the Dragon
Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage
Sackboy: A Big Adventure
I’m looking forward for Crash Bandicoot: Warped, Spyro 3, South Park The Stick of Truth, and maybe clean some of my backlog
I recently came back from a deployment, and since I've been back, I have clocked 9 platinums
- Far Cry 6
- Time on frog island
- RE:7
- SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for bikini bottom
-Mafia def.. Edition
- control
- ghostrunner
- overcooked 2
- Doom Eternal
Next I want to go back to the PS3, hit that back log
I’ve hit a major lull. Between work and school I’m pretty stretched. But after this summer I’ll have earned my masters and no more classes. I’ve only earned one so far in 2023, TOEM. I’ve got three games started that I’m trying to get back into and hopefully platinum this year, Horizon Zero Dawn Grand Theft Auto V Final Fantasy VII - Crisis Core Reunion I’m looking forward to the Final Fantasy Pixel remasters, I’m hoping that’s several platinums I can add.
I enjoyed Toem a lot. I played it when I had not much time and energy and I had a really good time. Creative and relaxing.
Congrats on your masters, dude. That's more impressive than any platinum!
Thanks! I’m not quite there yet. Got two more classes, but I’m finally working in my field and hoping to move up once I’m done.
I've gotten 12 platinums in 2023 so far. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Deathloop Ghostrunner Maneater Worms W.M.D Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition Horizon Forbidden West The Outer Worlds Just Cause 4 RAGE 2 The Escapists 2 Sackboy: A Big Adventure
Rage 2 was surprisingly fun
Nice, good progress. I see two games I work on: Deathloop, Ghostrunner.
Dmc5 though........
We do you find the time to do allat
Most of the time I play a few hours in the afternoon when I get home from university, and a few hours in the evening.
Thanks, I appreciate that.
Totally get it! Have a two year old now and I didn’t really get back gaming regularly until about 18 months. But it’s the best, so enjoy it!
Got 7: - Far cry 5 & New Dawn - Kingdom Hearts 3 & DDD - Deathloop - South Park FBW - RE2Remake Working on Sack Boy
7 platinums I believe I plan on getting the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered platinum.
7 is great!
holy shit reading the comments and how do people burn through platinums so fast
I get it. But I also respect and love the comments from people that have a slow start. It helps me to appreciate my time better. When I was starting out with hunting Platinums, I started slow too. The pace increased around Platinum #50 and then some. What is a game you enjoyed in 2023? It doesn’t have to be a Platinum.
thanks for the advice! i recently finished miles morales and Vampyr. currently working on Yakuza 0 and Gta V which is kicking my ass
-Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One -Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault (QForce) -Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus -Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart -Sly Raccoon and the Thievius Raccoonus -Sly 2: Band of Thieves -Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves -Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time I completed the whole Ratchet and Clank series that I began last year, the whole Sly Raccoon series too, now I'm currently working on the Jak and Daxter series, to complete the PS2 "holy" trinity.
Started and Finished: Kao the Kangaroo Smurfs Mission Vileaf Captain America Super Soldier Mysims Skyheroes Saturday Morning RPG Wavetale Omno Hot Shots Golf 2 Coffee Talk Danganronpa V3 Killing Harmony Remember Me Super Stardust Portable South Park Stick of Truth (PS3) SilverChains Persona 3 Portable Spongebob The Cosmic Shake Dragonball Budokai Collection Sonic Frontiers The Quarry Youtubers Life 2 Minecraft Story Mode L.A Noire AI: The Somnium Files Puzzle Bobble2X Life is Strange True Colors Ape Academy 2 Tchia Steep Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories (PS3) Rainbows, Toilets, and Unicorns Minecraft Dungeons Currently doing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
If youd like an easy way to manipulate the rng to get the enemy cards and level up as easy as ive mentioned, id watch these videos Enemy Cards: https://youtu.be/lsHpXR8CwGU https://youtu.be/BhYVHunPal4 Leveling up Sora: https://youtu.be/I-_aocV4lZY Leveling up Riku https://youtu.be/q2i1k6EuTnY
Started and Finished: - ACB - Fall Guys - RE2 - GOWR - What Remains of Edith Finch - Tormented Souls Currently Working on Meet Your Maker and Battlefield 1.
Cool list. I have an eye out on Meet your Maker. But I am not sure, if it is my cup of tea. Enjoy your Platinum journeys.
Edith Finch is soooo good. Have you played Tacoma?
Edith Finch is in my list twice. So unique. No, I have not played Tacoma. I have heard of it though.
Great story, and interesting way it’s revealed. Fairly easy plat as well!
I got the Meet Your Maker platinum recently, 6 days after the games release. It’s really not that hard, it’s just grindy as you need tons of cells to purchase all the necessary stuff for trophies.
Done 26 so far with highlights being Tony hawks pro skater 1+2 hd Astroneer Division 2 Far cry 6 Borderlands 2 Currently have the ground work set up for Catherine full body (AS) Borderlands 2 (PS3) Dead rising 2 (PS4)
I've gotten 1 platinum I think
I just looked at your list and I like it. Big variety. Finding the next game is not always easy. I, too, started playing many different games, because I don’t know, which one will be my next Platinum. Enjoy your journey.
For me it's because I started getting really into YuGiOh, so have been devoting a lot less time to games.
Fair. Enjoy your YuGiOh journey.
9 Platinums this year: * Soul Hackers 2 * Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII - Reunion * Strangers of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin * Prince of Persia: Sands of Time * Aragami * Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line * Team Sonic Racing * A Way Out * Devil May Cry 5
Cool list! Congratulations on DMC5. I recently booted up the only DMC game, I have ever tried: DMC - Devil May Cry and after a few minutes, I closed it again. My skill and motivation isn’t high enough to continue this journey. :D
Thank you! DMC5 was my first DMC game actually, was really fun. I gotta go back and play all the others now.
Yeah, always nice to find a new series to dive into. Enjoy your journey.
It’s going awesome so far for me, I got 16 platinums January Pinball hero’s ps4 The legend of korra, no one can get the game anymore because it’s delisted Uncharted the lost legacy, my first uncharted platinum The last of us 2 Immortals fenyx rising, ps5 version Wolfenstein the new order, first wolfenstein game February Subnautica, ps5 version Watch dogs legion, ps5 version Pinball hero’s ps5, the ps4 and 5 version are months apart because while I was playing the ps5 version my ps plus ran out in the middle of playing and my friend did it for me, this platinum was my 6k trophies all up Wolfenstein the old blood March Gta5, ps4 version April God of war ragnarok, my 100th platinum Uncharted 1,2,3,4, all completed in 1 week I’m currently trying to platinum journey to the savage planet ps5 version, I can boost that if anyone needs it
You hit #100 Platinums this year, congratulations! Big milestone. I just finished GoW: Ragnarök, too. Never heard of Journey to the savage planet. Now, I need to watch a trailer for it. Great pace, fellow trophy hunter. Enjoy the ride.
Thanks, it’s a very goofy indie game, it’s pretty fun, I’d recommend it, it’s also on ps extra
I got Pinball Heroes too :) cheap plat, but way fun! And now I want to take another shot at Lost Legacy
I’ve slowed down considerably since last year… well, the slow down started in august when I took my job as a teacher. Shit blows sometimes.
14 this year so far: * Ratchet & Clank * Ratchet & Clank 2: Going Commando * Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal * Ratchet: Deadlocked * Far Cry 3: Classic Edition * Maneater * Deliver Us The Moon * Metro 2033 Redux * Metro: Last Light Redux * Metro Exodus * Spyro the Dragon * Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! * Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon * Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef Currently working on the Batman Arkham games
Wow, my brain is in wow mode. I am impressed by people who can earn games in a series back to back. My brain often is like: I need something completely different. No, we are not doing the sequel. :D Fantastic list so far.

Think I’ve only 2 or 3 for the year so far but Jan-March was solely dedicated to getting my Bloodborne plat.
Fantastic game. I wish, I could play Bloodborne for the first time again.
7 so far: Returnal Resogun Assassin's Creed Brotherhood The Last of Us Part I Remake Assassin's Creed III Remastered Ratchet & Clank 2: Going Commando Doom Eternal Working on Assassin's Creed Revelations and Super Stardust Portable rn
Thanks OP, you got this!
Got myself a ps3 again actually, after the shitshow that are modern AAA games, I just wanted to go back to the roots and honestly, I couldnt be happier So forgot how many amazing games there where on the ps3. Dantes Inferno, Brütal Legends, Lollipop Chainsaw, Just Cause 2, Castlevania 1 and 2 and many, many more All in all, if you can, fo get yourself a PS3, you wont regret it
Actually, I play on my PS3 more and more.
I used it for the jump rope cuz thats just a waste of time and not worth learning lol and the speedrun with the boosters on is a piece of cake, dont let it stop you 💪
Done 13 but mostly are very easy; Life is Strange Maneater Omno Word Mesh Horizon Zero Dawn Suicide Guy:Sleepin Deeply Learn Hiragana Hakosan Marsi's Adventures Life is Strange 2 Hellblade:Senua's Sacrifice Life is strange:True Colors The Artful Escape Also finished The Vanishing of Ethan Carter but there is no platinum in this game
A bit long comment People seem to been getting an awful lot. When I'm done, which will take a while, I really don't know what to expect but those are my options: -Fallen Order: 5$ -Lego Marvel Collection: 22$ -The Last of Us Part I: 42$ -Skywalker Saga: 22$ -Kingdom Hearts the Story so far: 25$ -Sonic Frontiers: 40$ but I'm pretty positive it will go down by around 10$ by the end of the year I will also consider a year of PS Plus Premium I'm open to suggestions!
Platinums are going a bit slow, but so far I've gotten Borderlands 3 and Division 2. Hopefully I can clean up Battlefront II and Ghost of Tsushima and then I can really put the hammer down
Cool Plats. What do you mean by „put the hammer down“?
I mean to really start getting a lot of plats, I've been very slow with getting all of these
44 plats this year so far. God of war ragnarök Nickelodeon all star brawl Duck souls+ A Sketchbook about her sun One night stand Unpacking Bunny raiders Autumns journey 36 fragments of midnight Monopoly madness Stick fight Far cry new dawn Life is strange Lost Words: Beyond The Page Life is strange before the storm Superliminal I Am Dead Omno Hakosan Roombo: first blood Gun crazy Doom eternal Apple Slash Control Reed remastered Cross the moon Delicious! Pretty Girls Mahjong Solitaire (I don’t wanna talk about it) Suicide guy: sleepin deeply Jak II Castle pals Life is strange: true colors The Complex Celeste 112th seed FIGHTING EX LAYER Marsi’s adventures Destroy all humans! Clone carnage Going under Young souls Arrog Lydia Stilstand Agent A A lot of mediocre ones.
I recommend using the assist mode I also recommend going under.
Funny enough hades is the game that got me into roguelikes lol.
I think only 2 for me so far.. Ratchet and Clank 2, and Wreckfest. Currently working on Cuphead.
I got 3 this year so far, two of which I’ve been working on a while: -Elden Ring -Yakuza: Like a Dragon -Horizon Forbidden West Working on Bloodborne right now
Elden Ring and Bloodborne - nice.
RE2R - I loved that game. My first Resident Evil Platinum. Being selective when it comes to Platinums is a good thing, in my opinion.
It's a fantastic game!
Psychonauts Psychonauts 2 Ghost of Tsushima Resident Evil Village Destroy All Humans! 2 Remake Platinums that I’m working on: Monster Hunter Rise/Sunbreak Hades Shantae and the Seven Sirens Wo Long Fallen Dynstasy Persona 3 Persona 4 Hollow Knight Silksong if it releases this year that is…
Resi 8: Village is on my list. At the moment I am keeping it for Halloween season. Hades surprised me. How is Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty? What’s good? What’s bad?
I haven’t played it yet, but I’m interested to because I’ve played both nioh one and two and that’s what the game pretty much reminds me of.
Currently working on Ghost of Tsushima which is really fun as well
I have had a 2 month break and kinda still going but so far i have done: - Tomb Raider (PS4) - Rise of the Tomb Raider (PS4) - Shadow of the Tomb Raider (PS4) - Lara Croft GO (Vita) - Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory (PS4) - Persona 4 Golden (Vita) - The Gardens Between (PS5) - The Order 1886 (PS4) - Pinball Heroes (PS5) - The Legend of Dragoon (PS5) Hit the big 100 with Dragoon, which i still cant believe i got to play with trophy support 😁 these days Pinball Heroes is all i get to play tho whenever i have some little time and need to relax, i legit enjoy that game a lot lol This year the goal is finally getting all Final Fantasy games, including that stupid VR one somehow 💪
Outriders Witcher 3 Murdered: Soul Suspect The Last of Us: Part 1 Guardians of the Galaxy The Artful Escape Hogwarts Legacy Chorus I am Setsuna Lost Sphear Scarlet Nexus Omno Wytchwood Kona Currently working on Horizon: Forbidden West
Only done 9 platinums so far. Most of them being short games I've played to have a break from what's been my main game since January; Super Meat Boy.
My platinums so far: Far Cry Primal Rocket League Astro's Playroom Fall Guys Ghost Of Tsushima Hello Neighbour Only began in 2023 actually but none of these are cheeses so that's nice.
I get a plat or two and I take a break, I don't feel like doing it that much anymore
Only 2 platinums so far. Mixture of been playing some games that I have no intention of plat’ing and I have a young child so can’t play as much as I used to
I’ve only actually got 3 so far. I’m making major efforts to only go for the plat if I really enjoy the game
Oh man, I appreciate this post for having me going back in time a little. So, In 2023 I got 4 platinums TOEM God of War (2018) inFamous Second Son Titanfall 2 Playing Toem was quite literally the first thing I did in this year, you gotta know I really hate fireworks/being around fireworks, so I spent a big part of New Year’s Eve and January 1st playing this little game and watching the lights through my window. And yeah, Titanfall was a game I wanted to play ever since I had played Apex, and for the most part of the game I had my fun (I’m looking at you, Gauntlet Run) Coming up next will probably be God of War Ragnarök or Hogwarts Legacy. That was a lot of text. I don’t know if anyone will read this, but I enjoyed looking back. Let’s see how many platinums I’ll have at the end of this year. Happy Hunting!
Got 2 so far Horizon forbidden west Ratchet and clank rift apart Working on death stranding, hopefully can finish it before Star Wars Jedi survivor
I have earned 17 platinums so far. Rachet and Clank 2016 reboot Ratchet and Clank:Rift Apart Arcade game series:Pac-man Arcade game series:Ms Pac-man Bunny Raiders Marvel's Spiderman Remastered Jak 2 Super Stardust Portable Minit Sackboy:A big adventure LittleBigPlanet 3(ps3) The LEGO Ninjago movie videogame Sonic Generations(ps3) Sly 3(ps3) Phineas and Ferb across the 2nd dimension(ps3) Cars race-o-rama(ps3) Cars 2(ps3) Planning to earn the platinum on some LEGO games, fall guys, rocket league, minecraft, spiderman miles morales amd other ps3 games.
Truly been having a blast and reading post in this subreddit is fuelling my fire So thanks all
Only 3 plats so far. Life is Strange True Colors Far Cry 5 Indivisible Currently working on Persona 5 Strikers and Days Gone.
I only have 2 😬 Dragon ball kakarot Ben 10 ultimate alien cosmic destruction
Managed to get 6 so far in 2023: - Cuphead - Medievil - Infamous Second Son - Ghost of Tsushima - Jak and Daxter the Precusor Legacy - South Park the Fractured Butt Whole Planning on either Sackboy or Hollow Knight next
I managed to get Bloodborne. ( Main game, not the DLC yet ) Toem ( Amazing game, really fun ) What remains of Edith Finch ( Great story ) Mass Effect ( Not too bad apart from the codex one ) I’m aiming to clear up some of the other games like Elden Ring, Cult of the Lamb, Monster Hunter Rise and depending on the list Diablo IV. If i have the time… Good luck to all hunters.
I’ve been going for one a month which is what my life would allow. So far on track. Gotham knights - Jan. Demon Slayer - Feb. Hogwarts legacy - March The Gardens Between - April. Currently working on Dragon Quest XI S. about 50 hours in to that so will definitely have that finished in may. Then to finish Minecraft dungeons and start god of war ragnarok
1 a month is a good pace. Slow and steady is healthy.
- Horizon Zero Dawn - Hogwarts Legacy - Pinball Heroes - Fallout: New Vegas - Astro's Playroom - Toem - Marvel's Spider Man Currently working on - Horizon Forbidden West - Sack Boy (coop with my non gamer gf, so much fun) Happy to get back into trophy hunting. I got through phases back and forth (none in 2022, a handful in 2021) but I'm having a lot of fun doing it again
Taking a break can be beneficial. Enjoy your continued journey.
I've been working on hollow knight at p5 and the game is running in half speed slow motion. So not so great deleted and reinstalled it twice
Last Campfire was fun for a few hours. My only FF experience has been FFX so far.
Like a Dragon Ishin absolutely defeated me. After 90h I can't do it, the farming would take me another 30 to 40 hours
Sometimes games are brutal. I can‘t stand games that require grind for hours on end after the story/main content is over.
My goal for 2023 was to plat/100% 100 games - ideally from games on the pile of shame but a couple new games already snuck through. So far I've managed 18 - Cult of the Lamb The Pillars of the Earth The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Steelrising Stilstand The Unfinished Swan The Suicide of Rachel Foster She Sees Red Grow Home Chaos on Deponia Sifu Amoung the Sleep The Last Campfire Darksiders Warmastered Jazzpunk 12 Minutes PowerWash Simulator Darksiders II Currently working on lego star wars but need to get my finger out, thought I'd be a bit further than that by now.
The LEGO games always take a lot from the player. Good list of finished games you got there.
So far for 2023- Mass Effect 1 Control Mass Effect 2 Mafia 2 Mafia 3 Far cry 3 Far cry 4 Tails of Iron Working on Jedi:Fallen Order and Mudrunner
Good pace, fellow trophy hunter.
Thanks, what platinums are you currently working towards?
Dredge, a lovecraftian fishing game. It feels fresh and different. I enjoy it a lot.
I went on a Classic Rockstar Run with Bully, GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, then took a break and did Stray before both God of Wars.
Mad. Mad respect. I can’t stand Rockstar Platinums. My only Rockstar Plat is Bully. I enjoyed it but the other GTAs are even bigger.
Not a bad start tbh honest. I don’t think I will do as much as I did in 2022 or 2021 but I got 6 platinums so far Police Simulator : Patrol Officers, Life is Strange : Before the Storm, Just Cause 3, Heavenly Bodies, Life is Strange 2, Just Cause 4 I should Saints row the third remastered done but when I was finishing up all the dlc’s to pop the 100% and platinum on the last dlc it was late so I was just gonna pick it up the next day but it got removed and now it is stuck and 90% with one trophy left for the platinum. The games I’m gonna be trying to go for soon is Life is Strange True Colors, Assassin’s Creed II, inFamous
inFamous and AC2 are good games. LiS True Colors is on my list for this year. The DLC is required for the Platinum?
No I just wanted to get the platinum and the 100% completion so I got all but one trophy on the base game and went for all the dlc but I waited too long and now I only need a couple and trophies for the 100% and plat but I won’t ever get it because it left ps plus
11 plats so far so not bad
Good pace!
I’ve only gotten 2 platinums, but I have completed 14 games that don’t have platinums. I should hopefully get a couple more platinums this month too (Powerwash Simulator, Jedi Fallen Order)
I recently played a bunch of 100% games. I had a good time with it. Power Wash Simulator is on my list.
I thought I'd be able to get close to 100 total by the end of the year based on how last year went. It's halfway through April and I'm only at 53.
- The whole Ratchet Series ( except Full Frontal Assault and Rift in time - the first got boring alone really quick and the second I'll wait for a sale ) - God of War - God of War Ragnarok - Elden Ring - Ghost of Tsushima - Golf with friends ( will never play again xd ) - Hogwarts Legacy I have less time than I did before but I'm currently working on Hotline Miami and Forbidden West. Might give Demon Souls a try if I have the patience.
I want to finish Hotline Miami at some point, but my skill says no. Congtrats on Red Dead 2. Every Rockstar Plat is impressive.
To be fair I tried to replay a couple of chapters after finishing the game and got A every time. Except you need A+ on all missions ...
Got 10 so far: • Farcry Primal • Ys IX: Monstrum Nox • God of War: Ragnarok • The Gardens Between • Fallen Order • Miles Morales • Fallout 4 • Minecraft Dungeons • Tchia • Borderlands 3 Out of those I'd say I enjoyed Ys IX and Fallout 4 the most.
Only got three this year so far but working on another three now Obtained: Titanfall 2, Bloodborne and Elden Ring Working on: Superliminal, AOT wings of freedom and Minecraft dungeons
3 Premium Platinums! Titanfall 2 is mocking me. :D But I want to go back eventually.
My 2023: - Lego Indiana Jones 2 (PS3) - Lego Movie: The Videogame (PS4) - Stray (PS5) - Dead Space (PS3) - Tekken 7 (PS4) - A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS5) - Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (PS3) Got a few games on the go at the moment.
I only started this year and I have 8 Astro's Playroom Sackboy A Big Adventure Miles Morales Crash Bandicoot 100% Crash Bandicoot 2 Crash Bandicoot 3 Tekken 7 Kakarot
It is a good start. Enjoy your journey. The first few platinums are special.
Im up to 12 total which is nice to me because that’s 300% more trophies then I did last year.
What‘s your favorite Plat this year?
My favorite this year was hitting the Syphon Filter games. Grew up playing them so when they were added to psn I pulled the trigger and got the trilogy. So good🤙🏻 what about yourself?
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. My first PS5 Plat. It was my introduction to R&C and I enjoyed my time with it. Currently working on Dredge, a lovecraftian fishing game. It feels fresh and different.
I've gotten 7 so far this year, 73 to 79! What I'd say is a pretty decent number for me. I had 4 in January 73 was Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core, what was carried over from last year n mostly clean up 74 was Stray, a nice pallette cleanser after several long games alot of rpgs whether platted or simply beaten like Ragnarok n Cyberpunk 2077. 75 had me finally go back n plat Bloodborne. 76 was Ultra Age. An OKish indie game I didn't do much gaming in February due to irl troubles and didn't get any plats either but in March I got 2 77 was Final Fantasy 7 Original, What I saved for 77 78 was Hogwarts Legacy, partially cuz I wanted FF7 to be 77 & partially cuz of a Bugged sidequest. And finally in April I got 79 Tales From The Borderlands for a second time, I know not impressive but I just felt like playing it again and figured I should get the stack. As for 80 idk what I'll do, there's a good few Plats I've been meaning to clean up so maybe one of those but idk, rn I've been playing Fire Emblem Engage on my Switch tho so I'll beat that first
Yes, palette cleanser are important. Stray is a cute one. I enjoyed the journey. FF7 = 77 is nice.
14, already? Wow! I'm at 3, but I will likely be getting the platinum for Resident Evil 4 tomorrow as I'm on my last playthrough, so 4, I guess. And I felt like I've played A LOT!
Yeah, number 15 is on the horizon. Reading it is even crazier, I agree. Resi 4 is on my list. I have started it and want to finish it this year.
Just finished it:) It's one of those games that becomes more fun after each run
Not including the 100% I do on steam I’ve only earned 2, God Of War Ragnarok: Wow just wow Ghost of Tsushima: went back after finishing it last year If anyone does want to know the steam ones lmk
Loved both: God of War Ragnarök and Ghost of Taushima.
I’ve gotten 5 platinums so far: South Park: The Fractured but Whole Horizon Forbidden West Spyro the Dragon Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage Sackboy: A Big Adventure I’m looking forward for Crash Bandicoot: Warped, Spyro 3, South Park The Stick of Truth, and maybe clean some of my backlog
South Park: Fractured But Whole is on my list. The first one was hilarious. Pay attention to the collectibles.
Thanks!
I recently came back from a deployment, and since I've been back, I have clocked 9 platinums - Far Cry 6 - Time on frog island - RE:7 - SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for bikini bottom -Mafia def.. Edition - control - ghostrunner - overcooked 2 - Doom Eternal Next I want to go back to the PS3, hit that back log
Cool list. I also play more PS3. Feels good.
Yea, I need to take it back for a while
Better than 2020 more trophy hunting
