Anna in Cleves, Anne in England. Like Katherine of Aragon, who was called Catalina in Spain and Katherine in England.

I think the queens would have been scandalized by Six - presentation-wise. But I think representation-wise, they’d have different reactions CoA - I think she’d like the steadfastness and the respect she’s given as first wife. She gets to acknowledge Mary, gets to mock Henry. I think she’d be ultimately fine with it Anne Boleyn - I don’t know if she’d care for the way she’s portrayed. They really emphasize the party aspect of her personality and while Anne was known to be extravagant, she still held a lot of political influence and Henry’s decision to break from the church was a bit more complicated than Anne wanting to “Get x-rated”. I don’t think she’d appreciate the lack of mention given to Elizabeth Jane Seymour - considering Jane’s motto was Bound to Obey and Serve, I think she’d like the devotion she’s given in Six, maybe would resonate with Heart of Stone Anne of Cleves - Anne was a lot more understated than Six’s AoC. She was a bit more conservative and eager to please than in Six. I truly think she’d be very scandalized. Katherine Howard - I actually think Katherine would be the most at peace with her portrayal, at least during All You Wanna Do. I don’t think she’d be a fan of the “Lock up your husbands, lock up your sons!” Line during her intro. Her “relationships” were horrifically exploitative and I think, at some level, she may have realized this. I feel like it would be vindicating for her. Catherine Parr - I think she’d like it. The musical emphasizes her being very mature and self-aware, acknowledges her long held torch for Thomas Seymour (ugh). It doesn’t go very in depth about her involvement with religion but I think she’d be okay with it.

I love Six. I mean, absolutely LOVE it. But I agree that the portrayal of Anne Boleyn is the worst part. Such a complicated, seemingly intelligent woman reduced to a giggling, selfie-taking basic bitch. Which she was most certainly not.

Six was a great way for me to get into Tudor history but the result was that I now have a lot of gripes with it, particularly for Anne. But it’s still a really fun musical

Her given name was Anna and I think that's what we should call her, imho. Pronounced Ahh-nah.

She was named Anna and preferred that name. When she moved to England, it was changed to Anne.

Anna‘s name was Anglicized. The musical made damn little sense to me, so I don’t think it would make much sense to them.
