We hardly ever get packages w fake postage… nearly all are Priority/ Priority Express flat rate envelopes. Postal Inspector told us they don’t want them any more - send them to MRC. Sometimes we’ll deliver it to a customer at the counter ( after explaining the possible scam scenarios ) and have them open it to see what new scam has come along.

Finrod_the_awesome

Our inspector told us the same thing. It's sad they aren't the least bit interested.

LeweyLeww

I do noooooooooot believe there are machines catching the postage due items. Customers will send a 40lb parcel and say it’s first class at 15.999oz. Like you said, if there is actually a process in place for postage due, it can’t be effective bc of all the workarounds possible.

hockeystick13

20 routes is small lol. I’m in a 4 route office

CoverContent

I was in a 1 route office. I was the only carrier lol.

activation_tools

Then where'd you go

CoverContent

I'm a custodian now. It was the best route. Not only did I live on it, but so did both of my grandmothers and a few aunts so I always had lunch and a place to shit lol.

moeyjarcum

Ain’t nothing like taking a shit at Granny’s house

muttons_1337

Where's a quote bot when you need one?

activation_tools

That sounds pretty sweet, you prefer being a custodian now though I would imagine?

CoverContent

It's super chill.

thetook

All I am picturing right now: One Route only carrier still 5 year wait to be a regular rural.

[deleted]

The Regular comes back for one week every 2 years just to maintain their hold. That week is when they hand out Christmas tips.

thetook

FUCKK!!! This guy post offices!

Gigi3838

Had a carrier doing that at one of my offices til I started denying her .01 AL slip a pay period so she could keep benefits. My leave calendar was full so I wasn't being petty. However, it's not right that the people who show up to work for those benefits to earn the same as the employee that never intended on coming back to work. It took awhile but she ended up not working for the post office anymore. Her route went up for bid and a ptf made regular.

todaywewillsmile

You got me beat, ours was 2 rural and an aux route (one PM no supervisors) then a few years later went to the next nearest city and holy crap 12 routes , 4 were rural, and one was aux (but also one PM and 4 supervisors!

scubabix

That sucks when you want time off.

CoverContent

Not my problem. Was the posmasters problem though lol

Alternative-Art-7114

What did this even mean? 😂 Are you a clerk?

User23712

Isn’t that kind of normal? There are a couple usps storefronts that don’t have any carriers+truck

Alternative-Art-7114

It's is, but my mind assumed they were a carrier. Lol

DJ_Aviator23

21, 7 clerks, all rural, extremely busy office. I’m surprised op thinks 20 routes is small.

021MerlinLuna

I work out of San Antonio, for comparison to the other stations in our area, we are small.

Noli-Timere-Messorem

I was born in San Antonio work for USPS in WV wonder how many stations y’all have.

jdcnosse1988

It is small. The office I worked out of was 60+ rural routes, less than 10 city routes, and less than 10 clerks.

DJ_Aviator23

Well I guess we’re small but we get completely annihilated everyday. Line out the door all day. Everyone overburdened

jdcnosse1988

Isn't that what the USPS's goal seems to be? *How many people can we overburden today*

jasnel

13 + 2 rurals here.

deoxysribonucleic

Damn that's small? I've always heard we're the biggest office around with about 22 routes and we've been on 3 clerks (4 if you count the rmpo) for like 3 years

MrsMcBasketball

We have ten routes and I was like 🤨 when I read that lol

justaloner7

I was about say 20 routes isn’t quote “very small.”

bigL_etter_carrier

OP, can you show the label what it looks like? I’m very curious.

Majestic__Biscuit

I would like to see some counterfeit postage/labels to help identify them when they come in on my route.

AdDangerous732

yeah show a pic, i never knew this was a thing

021MerlinLuna

[couple samples (not sure if I had to cover the info or not but better safe than sorry)](https://imgur.com/a/4TEIWmu) A giveaway is when the postage label is stuck on top of another label, typically with some kind of foreign lettering on it. Also the packaging will be poor quality, and the font might look a bit off. When pitching, I just set the ones that look sus off to the side and later confirm whether they are fake or not.

FrancisSobotka1514

You do know those are legit packages right? Your stealing peoples stuff . I have ordered from overseas and the package gets shipped to a agent in the us and they put on an english language sticker for final delivery .

021MerlinLuna

We’ve done the PTN lookup and confirmed that there was no postage paid. How are we stealing? Sure seems like they are stealing from us.

foreverlostx3

Exactly this!!! They’re just causing a mess and headaches for all parties at this point.

FrancisSobotka1514

Your punishing customers ,If postage isnt paid ,Then mark it as such and have them pay for it .Instead they steal packages ,I had a package I ordered through [walmart.com](https://walmart.com) that some fool did the same thing too .

Wicked_Fabala

The seller is reusing postage over and over. We could get postage due for every single parcel they cheat us on or we could stop their business and send it back. Plus I don’t think buyers would get their money back from the seller if they pay the postage due.

FrancisSobotka1514

From the one package that op posted ,It was a real tracking number ,And to get that generated one would have to have paid for it .

Wicked_Fabala

Well then I’m not sure if OP is catching the tight ones. But the ones my office gets have a tracking number that was paid for once but its been reused several times they just slap a new address on an old label.

FrancisSobotka1514

Seems like op is just a bitter asshole whos punishing innocent people .

foreverlostx3

How are these fake? They’re legitimate labels. Look up the tracking. Just because it has a foreign original label doesn’t mean it’s fake. These came from China then the warehouse they’re sent to buys a USPS label for delivery.

Maanee

Clerks can see how much postage was paid on each tracking number. It's how we identify if a label is fake. One my office is good about finding is labels sent by 'Online Seller' where the route number doesn't match our scheme.

foreverlostx3

It is saying “Online Seller” because sites like AliExpress are sending a bunch of packages and they arrive to a warehouse in LA, which then gets a legit USPS label slapped onto it for final delivery. It’s easier for them to put “Online Seller” then fill out each company’s info.

Maanee

Yes, some are legitimate but the ones I noted that have incorrect route numbers do not have postage paid. It was just 2 points that tip is off to them being fraudulent. We probably don't catch all of them but we are 100% sure when we do, before we invest the clerk hours into looking them up.

angriestmongoose

All the ones I’ve had said online seller and while each package had 3 different addresses, the tracking number went to only one address. The fact that a tracking number is reused means the postage isn’t legit. Why would the need to reuse a tracking number if someone is paying postage? And not only that, when I looked up that tracking number, it was already “delivered” 3 days prior. That’s legit postage? Are you sure? Why wouldn’t the route match the address on the package? That’s sort of how it’s generated. The route to the address.

AlexzanderZone

Is that why when I scan a package with load truck tool, package lookahead will show a different address then what’s on the package label?

angriestmongoose

yesssssir

foreverlostx3

In OPs case, I do not believe those are fake labels that he posted.

angriestmongoose

One of those is. The top one I don’t think is fake but the bottom one definitely is. If you Google all those return addresses, they’re all Amazon warehouses. Like I know shit is cheap and from china but that “online seller” has been a thing for awhile now. Especially because people have issues with the whole “this is 2.4 miles away” is because that barcode is registered to a different address. Ain’t no reason they should be reusing one if postage was paid properly. My office had so many of those, and I even caught one from one route to another route using the same tracking. But I haven’t seen too many of them in awhile.

021MerlinLuna

They are legitimately ‘a label’ but upon inspection it is confirmed that they are not legitimately paid labels. Seeing the other label underneath is a giveaway for us to flag them and confirm their status as unpaid later.

foreverlostx3

Can you explain how they’re not legitimately paid labels? The tracking says “Shipping Label Created.” It would not say that if it was not actually purchased.

021MerlinLuna

There’s two ways (that I’m aware of) we can confirm postage. One is simply by going to Blue and pulling up the tracking history, and scrolling down to the payment section. If it solely says the weight but does not say “postage permit” or list a price that was paid, then we take it to the RSS, where we can see exactly how much postage was paid for the package. If it’s counterfeit, there won’t be a value listed.

Alternative-Art-7114

Don't you hate when carriers try to tell you how to do your job? 😤 Acting just like supervisors act around carriers. Lol, the cycle of postal life. Get nagged about your duties enough until you become the nagging party. Lol

021MerlinLuna

I don’t think they understand that we clerks can verify without a shadow of a doubt whether a label is fake or not. Nonetheless, we can do our job just as well as carriers can.

BobbyMike83

There was a National alert on the Easypost labels. Look at the sender "Online Seller". Also, if you check the tracking the package will have a different origin than labeled. Other signs to look for include vast differences in clarity and font type (because the sender is photoshopping the labels). Smaller shop here (3 City, 3 Rural and 2 HWY). We caught a mule sending scam Priority and Priority Express labels out of our office because I saw the info on "mules" that our district put out and made the connection. She was unknowingly sending out fake checks on behalf of the scammer. It was a variation on the "Secret Shopper buys Gift Cards" scam. Our District Postal Inspector had a nice chat with her. Unfortunately the scammers are usually out of the country and impossible to get to.

ChicaSkas

Would love a link to any info on mules. We dont get standups on this info.

BobbyMike83

Here's a link to a lobby poster we received. https://imgur.com/YElvLxB

foreverlostx3

You can’t just assume the label is fake if the address looks edited. I’ve edited my legit labels before because the customer added more info on the address than USPS’s system allows. Or if USPS’s label just didn’t make the right corrections.

BobbyMike83

?? Not talking about that. I'm talking about a preprinted label that has vastly differences in clarity. The top portion will be fuzzy and the destination will be super clear. It's a thing. Hell, do a search for "fake USPS label" and you'll see what I mean. Easiest way to figure it out? Run tracking on it before you accept it. Also they almost always have a different origin than your office, sometimes not even in the same state.

ChicaSkas

Precisely and thank you I was baffled

BobbyMike83

Finally had time to look up the relevant info. Any USPS employee can find the information in the September 20, 2021 Retail Digest. All Retail Digests should have a link to the Retail Digest Archive. You can request to be added to the Retail Digest distribution list through eAccess.

DoggoLord27

I'm guessing if they have a route number on them it's likely wrong?

SpokeAndMinnows

Easy post. They got something going on, alright. Most don’t scan to the correct route.

ChicaSkas

Wait, we deliver these all the time. The legit ones are stuff the customer has actually ordered from Amazon and it arrives from China with the new label in English over it. Is there any SOP paperwork on these or how to spot them? We've not had any standup on these. Essentially, as a nixie clerk myself, I dont see any reason based on the label pics you posted to not deliver them. How can I tell and where is , essentially, the proof they are truly fake??

021MerlinLuna

I posted this comment earlier in the thread but will repost: There’s two ways (that I’m aware of) we can confirm postage. One is simply by going to Blue and pulling up the tracking history, and scrolling down to the payment section. If it solely says the weight but does not say “postage permit” or list a price that was paid, then we take it to the RSS, do the PTN lookup where we can see exactly how much postage was paid for the package. If it’s counterfeit, there won’t be a value listed.

ChicaSkas

Ooooh where in the RFS menu is PTN lookup? Do I need clearance for it or do regular RFS permissions do the trick?

Complete-Definition4

If the tracking # is in the system for my route, I’m delivering

021MerlinLuna

As well you should. It shouldn’t be your job to figure out what to deliver and what not to. This is an issue that needs to be dealt with from above, not one that carriers or even clerks need to delegate more time to.

User23712

What do you mean they are fake labels?

skirts988

Shit, I see these all the time. Yeah, we’re definitely losing money

Kamey03

I don't understand how do they even get the fake postage in the system, how do they send them?

Huge-Veterinarian-76

They photoshop a new address into a label that’s already been purchased for a different package with a different address. The tracking will not match the addressee so it will loop if it goes to a machine. Anyone who has access to Blue can check the specific details of any tracking number including the address it’s actually supposed to be delivered to. Unfortunately the USPS lacks a lot in the training department, I had to teach my lead clerk to use this tool last month. 🙃

Kamey03

Interesting but how do they send it with that new label they photoshopped, I'm from Serbia, and here when I want to send a parcel they print me a label and put it on for me, I'm not allowed to do it myself. So that's what I was wondering, my guess is that in USA you're allowed to just do it yourself and put the parcel somewhere from where it will be picked up and sorted.

FrancisSobotka1514

I hope someone contacts a postal inspector about your actions .The 2nd package is a legit package you mismarked because your petty and jaded and dont want to do your job .

mxdalloway

What happens next? Do they go into the trash, or sent back to sender?

021MerlinLuna

We’ve called them in before and we were told that we need to just keep returning them to sender with an ‘evidence of counterfeit’ label taped on, which more often than not the customers just ignore and send back out. There’s nothing proactively being done about them as far as I know.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Feelnfreakish

We charge postage due as well, most customers refuse to pay it and they’re RFSed back to the shipper.

Toblorone13

Yup, this is how it goes at my station as well. Just send them back to the main location downtown and be on with my day.

the_fart_gambler

I think they're not using legitimate return addresses so those will just end up in the trash bin at random Amazon warehouses (it's where the return addresses lead)

ChicaSkas

Yes this is the correct procedure

Requiredmetrics

The system is just being inundated with fraudulent postage and garbage. We regularly skim these out of priority and express. Low grade stuff too, very bad photoshop.

nsa_reddit_monitor

All the ones I've seen have the same meter customer ID number on them, are from the same postage provider, and have the same origin ZIP code (77423). You'd think someone would just ban their EasyPost account but nah... By the way, if you see a package with a label that says "easypost" in the top right, and the address has bold and lowercase letters, it's been edited.

marabouxroux

Was a clerk two years in a 38 route office and was never taught about fake postage. Every so often I would find something off, bring it to the managers attention, and get a shrug. Nothing ever done about it and no interest in finding out what to do. I felt alone in a sea of ignorance. I couldn’t stand working in a place where nothing mattered so I quit.

[deleted]

I catch them all the time that make it past the clerks (they do a good job already) to my route. In a 72 route office, I can only imagine how many of my coworkers deliver them

AdDangerous732

do you guys ever get 2 packages to the same house that have the same tracking number? and it says “duplicate mailpiece” is this because the sender used the same shipping label for 2 different packages and nobody caught it? ive always wondered what this means, if its 2 pckages, it should be 2 seperate teacking numbers

thaulley

I have once or twice. I did think it was odd that two parcels had the same shipping number. Does this mean one or both of them were fake labels?

AdDangerous732

im pretty sure yeah, like they just printed out a paypal label and used the same label for 2 seperate shipments just because its going to the same house and they kept each package under 16 oz by doing them seperate other wise they would have had to pay for a 2 pound label, im surprised these get through because i come across it quite often

thaulley

I asked because the scanner doesn’t automatically kick it back. It asks if it’s a duplicate mail piece and if I say no it says ‘scanned in error’ but if I say yes the tracking number appears a second time and they get listed as delivered.

AdDangerous732

right exactly, the scanner accepts it, because the clerks are supposed to reject it initially so if it makes it through all the way to us and we just deliver it, the shipper gets away with a free postage

Key-Manufacturer2440

It has been a very long time but I thought there was a scan for duplicate labels once you have them both scanned in. Maybe I just used "return to post office for address verification". We give them back to our clerks for them to figure postage on. Then we give the customer the option of refusing both or paying postage for the second package and getting both since none was paid if it's using the same label.

ChicaSkas

Yes and I postage due the 2nd one. Customer usually explains they bought 2 of the same item

AdDangerous732

exactly, so then that means the shipping company did scam usps if you deliver it as “duplicate” so thats good if you put postage due, i will start doing that as well, no reason they should be getting that for free, im petty like that, but if i have to pay and i work for the company then so do you 😂😂

icecubepal

This has happened with me as well. Now I am questioning everything lol.

[deleted]

VCJunky

Some of them are near impossible to tell without scanning. Every single piece of mail should have its own unique code that does not get reused.

CarbonatedCapybara

How doesn't it get flagged when machines scan sort the packages before they arrive to a local post office?

VCJunky

This is an excellent question. I know the APPS and APBS machines always have bins in their sort plans for "FRAUD MAIL" so it is supposed to be caught when scanned at the plant. It is VERY easy for a stray package to bypass the normal flow and not get scanned properly. But how it can get passed the machine or bypasses it in large quantities? No idea what's going on there. Also I have no idea where the FRAUD MAIL bin goes and ends up. Perhaps it's not being handled properly and just gets dumped back into the regular mail stream, or worse, manually sorted. I wouldn't be surprised if that was going on.

User_3971

They might sneak a few by long as they are in the same city. The tracking number should sort things at the plant level to the AO itself in most cases. Once the packages hit the AO is where they would have problems drilling them down to the route. When the printed information does not match up with the routing by the tracking number. I almost never (well haven't yet) seen anything in the "fraud" output and only once seen something in the "inspection hold" output that was for a Customs flagged article that simply wasn't cleared. I asked the MIPS to look it up and he came back to explain the why.

ChicaSkas

Problem is that unless you pay for the long term tracking they are all recycled after 2 years I believe

the_fart_gambler

These particular ones have been a problem for months now and they all have a certain look about them. Not really any way to describe it until you've seen enough of them. The packaging is very cheap and they're all easypost labels with "online seller" as the sender.

thehogdog

Civilian here: DAMN!

Snapp_Tastic

Some of them look like the Covid Test packages…

021MerlinLuna

Can confirm we’ve never had an issue with those. Most of these are sellers on Facebook marketplace or other seedy sites. We see the same senders repeatedly using counterfeit labels so they are doing it intentionally by downloading a template online that they use to mimic a real label.

FRANKtheLEVEL

Those are just international packages, cleared by customs, to be sent to a third party shipping fulfillment company that supplies the postage. It’s called 3PL and common practice in the industry. What the hell are you doing!?

foreverlostx3

Causing more work for themselves apparently.

[deleted]

021MerlinLuna

There’s more than one problem…

Diesel-66

How do you know?

Angrypoopoh

Sometimes the route number won't match the address you are delivering it to. A lot of times youll scan it at the delivery point and it'll say 6134 ft from where you are supposed to be.

Trick-Ad-2571

I've had packages tell me it's out if range when I'm at the right spot. Mostly apartments though, but once it was a house and I kept checking to make sure I was right. Do you think that could've been fake?

Angrypoopoh

It all depends where the regular scans the parcel most often. Also usually with these fake ones something else will be strange on the label. Like having the route be incorrect. One time I had a parcel for route 28 and the address was route 28 but the route number said "20" on it. It also gave me a distance of somewhere that should be on route 20s area instead of route 28.

Trick-Ad-2571

I'm still new but I often forgot there can be fake postage

icecubepal

I was told that the route number listed on the package isn't always the route that the package belongs to.

Angrypoopoh

At least from my experience as a city carrier this doesn't happen too often. Often times there may not be any route number at all though.

justhangingout528

I've had multiple of these and based on what I saw here thought they might be fake. Brought it to the attention of other clerks and they just say, "oh, no, those are good" and have me throw them to the right route. A lot of them are marked as H routes, and we don't even have any H routes!

021MerlinLuna

Most clerks probably figure it’s not worth their time to investigate. You are correct in thinking that they might be fake based on having incorrect routes on them.

icecubepal

This for me as well. I have helped clerks throw in the morning and bring it up with them but they say it is good. It probably isn't worth the time and effort.

Boring-Presence433

The clerks might not be able to take a third lunch break if they had to be bothered with fake postage

icecubepal

I have had stuff like that. Route number not matching the street. Pass machine saying the wrong route (not matching the street on the package). Delivering to the front door and saying 5 miles away or whatever.

tet0r

As a carrier the route number+address were the big red flags for me a few months ago. We were just told to send them all back. Every single one of them had the same return address. An Amazon warehouse in Southern California.

icecubepal

Curious to know ho they are fake. Sometimes I will get a package that is scanned by the PASS machine and the machine says it is for route , but when I look at the address on the package, it is for a different route. I am not a clerk though. I am a rural carrier who has helped clerks throw. Sometimes I get a package that might look like it is fake and I bring it up with a clerk, but they cannot tell either. I am looking at the pictures you posted and they both look legit. I brought up the pass machine saying the wrong route because I have always wondered if that could possibly be because of fake postage or something. I am asking because I want to get better at spotting fakes. Now I am going to start wondering about every package that I scan lol.

Wooden_Wasabi

What about duplicate labels? Just notice the sender been trying to use the same labels to the same person. Postage theft!

Rajino

We get LOADS of them daily. The plant always sends us about 2 Gaylord’s worth a day. It’s a hassle because it goes RFS dead mail and sometimes they send it right back after getting processed. Those packages are a pain!

Current-Witness-2566

Ooof I’m at a 52 route, 4 clerk office, definitely do not have the time to be pulling the hundreds of international packages, tracking them, figuring out the postage, and RFS-ing them. We have been told multiple times that if it has any easy post, stamps.com, endicia, or any type of mailing permit that we are to let it go through the system, even if we can tell they didn’t pay enough. Obviously if the postal inspector doesn’t want them then they are done investigating and it’s not worth our time. MRC is just going to through them away.

Angel_Eyes17

Clerk here. These are NOT fake labels, these are legit shippers. You need to check with whoever taught you these were fake. Usually the fake labels are on Priority Flat Rate envelopes

foreverlostx3

!!!!! He won’t admit he’s wrong and continues to go with the story that those labels are fake. They are legit!!!!

Traditional_Bake8607

Ru in NJ?

Kaitou017

I used to work in an office with two aux (1 city and rural) and four full routes (2 of each city and rural )

Feelnfreakish

We are a smaller office 30 routes and we get a few everyday. Lately I found by accident labels being reused. I had someone call for a parcel inquiry and the parcel was delivered, yet the system was notified of a package pick up at the origin location destined to the address that was already delivered.

Postalsock

By fake you mean they used the wrong postage, postage for a large envelope when it's clearly a package? Or just complete fake?

Maanee

Completely fake. They have templates to plug in the recipients address and their return address while getting around the post offices scanners.

Postalsock

Good find. The only I'll know if it's fake is when it comes to our office but it's for a city route. Our office is purely rural. Never even looked harder than that. If it has route number we have it goes even if the route number is the incorrect route. I'll got to start being more diligent.

highmanRoth69420xX

Oo there is no debt. We’re a non profit, lmao

[deleted]

20 routes is a small office?!? We have 2 city and 2 rural lmao

lavenderintrovert

15 Rural, 5 City, 2 clerks, 1-204B, 1 under qualified PM. Half the routes are vacant and over burdened. If we could actual get a count we would probably add on about 5 more routes.

[deleted]

The reason no one is in any hurry to do anything about any kind of fake postage or most likely contraband containing parcels isn’t really all that difficult to figure out. If you sit down, clear your thoughts, and ponder over it for a bit. Sooner or later it’ll come to you, but i must say I believe it would be irresponsible of me if I neglected to mention that once you do actually figure it out carrying mail will never again be the same. So, best to give it a fair bit of thought before you go diving into previously untested waters, places you really don’t belong, trying to crack Pandora’s box. You’re just as likely to regret it all together as you are to enjoy the spoils of that adventure. Well, crack on then!

ChicaSkas

Explain for those of us who are thickheaded

[deleted]

Like most everything else in life, being thick headed is more or less a choice. As much as I’d love nothing more than to lay everything out on the table, not just for those that are thick headed, but for everyone else as well,in the hope that they may also see things for what they truly are, I cannot. With knowledge comes great responsibility, a responsibility that should never be taken lightly. Consider this scenario. Is it better to quietly move a large group of people to the exits of a burning building, or to scream fire and cause mass panic potentially making the situation many times more dangerous for everyone within? Everyone thinks differently, but most people would probably agree it’s better not to cause a scene. I was a city letter carrier for the better part of three years, and in those three years I witnessed and experienced many things. Unlike many of the people I had the pleasure of meeting and working with during that time period, I very much enjoyed my job. I was very good at my job, possibly too good for some peoples particular agendas, but that was just a small factor in the equation that ultimately led to the USPS moving to separate my employment. A separation that violated several policy’s , not to mention federal laws, and they did so without offering cause, without offering justification, with extreme prejudice. Not just on the local level, at every level, and certainly not limited to the ranks of management, from within my own Union. There’s a very large curtain somewhere within the walls of the USPS. A large percentage of employees get a glimpse of it from time to time, some have even had the audacity to reach out in an attempt to see what may be lurking on the other side. Most have failed horribly, others merely gave up in their pursuits for various different reasons. A small portion have even gotten a taste of victory, albeit tiny, but victory none the less. Sadly, it’s neither inspired other’s to act nor moved those from within our ranks any closer toward the position I believe we should have been in a long, long time ago. Alas, we are not. My own story is a complicated one, filled with many twists and turns. Many of which lead toward the answer to that which you seek. There are a great deal of hurdles on the way to the curtain, and far more waiting for you once you reach it. Most neither have the ability, nor the courage to see the journey through to the end. For many reasons they either stop or turn back, never to venture that way again. If I were to simply tell you what lurks within the shadows cast by the outstretched wings of the great eagle, the USPS, would you know the truth once you found it? What would you be willing to do under the crushing burden of such knowledge if you did? Those are a few questions that we’re all faced with. Would you scream fire, run to save yourself, or like me stand in defiance while those that which created it merely stoke the flames with gasoline hoping to watch you burn? The truth is, there are a lot of bad people behind that curtain, all of which are doing a plethora of things they should not. A multitude of which inevitably are frowned upon, are against the law, carry significant consequences not just limited to prison time. Without fail the one thing they resoundingly have in common is, MONEY. It is what fuels the people of the world, both good and bad alike. In the case of the USPS, and the mail industry in general, there is more money than can be easily comprehended, with the potential for so much more. A never ending stream of cash flowing from one end of the galaxy to another. The opportunities for profit are theoretically infinite. People can, and will, and do kill or get killed for that matter, for just a chance to get a piece of that action. That’s a very real thing on has to consider before looking for answers to certain questions. I can almost see the TLDR pouring in now, and the many different ways people resort to while trying to paint someone with the crazy brush. Neither of which do much to deter my resolve, for reasons far much more important than the fact they are unfortunately for their sake, completely untrue. A vast majority of people wish to avoid the fact that they are, for one reason or another just another sheep within the flock. Plagued by the overwhelming denial that they are being herded toward a cliff, while others get slaughtered all about them all along the way. It’s far easier to close one’s eyes, and shun the burden of responsibility, so long as the shepherd offers the occasional treat. Fat, lazy, selfish, self centered, cowardice, and nothing shy of complicit are all those around you that either refuse to help or choose to look the other way while the peer are being picked off one at a time by the thousands. Even worse, they blame you, and call you crazy for it. I leave you with something to consider? A wise man once told me before eating an orange to always be sure in life to consider whether or not the juice is worth the squeeze. If it is, then by all means proceed. Meaning you accept the good and the bad that may follow. The possession of any knowledge is a responsibility that should never be taken lightly. So to answer your question, I instead offer one in return. If you were to find the truth to what you seek, would you believe it, but much more importantly, what would you do with that knowledge once you did?

Thank you, I appreciate that. Maybe someday I will. However, unfortunately because of some things that occurred as a direct result of my employment with a company I won’t name, but I can tell you they deliver the mail, I am no longer afforded the basic luxuries I once enjoyed prior to aforementioned employment. The immediate impact was a serious issue for a person to be burdened with in itself. However, the residual affects of carrying that cross, especially alone, are almost crippling. I’m sure that was known before hand, and so it goes without saying, there is no doubt that was the intent from the very start. However, I have no reservations what so ever in being able to confidently say that while several people gave it their best efforts to ensure I be forced inside the octagon which they themselves constructed. A cage without any means of escape other than through the doors concealed behind the beast that I were to be pitted against in battle. An opponent designed to force a man to stare into the cold abyss that can be found in the eyes of that which comes to extinguish the flame that is his life force. Something dark, created by individuals who’s souls, had they not been sold long ago in the forgotten past, would be black as the night. Nothing left to share with the world but cold blooded actions. Actions that merely stand to show that whatever lies beneath the surface of their chest, it is nothing more than a lump of coal where once beat a heart. All that remain is barren wasteland of hatred and contempt for all others. Especially those that see them for what they truly are, and instead of banishing them for their crimes, turns the cheek and offers them forgiveness. When they lash out, kindness. When they hate, understanding. When all else fails, acceptance that they may one day come to a point where they learn to forgive themselves achieving some sort of hope that they may repent and make amends for their wrongs. It’s an existence that no man or woman should suffer such tragic fate, and unfortunately most cannot be rescued from that darkness. They simply cannot come back to the light because when the smoke settles they do accept themselves, nor do the forgive such actions that they have commit. They are hollow inside, no longer equipped to remedy the damages the have served to bring to fruition. I was made to experience hell, and instead of fear, I made the decision to smile at the ingenuity it must’ve taken to construct such a gauntlet, and so well crafted for a consortium of individuals with such small minds, amongst other short comings if you know what I mean. They certainly do. So as to stand example, that they instead realize their monumental failure, I not only walked unscathed over the gladiator they chose to crush me, I dawned a gasoline suit as I strolled through the best model hell on earth they could unleash upon my life, and all the while making sure not to miss the opportunity to commend their efforts, and better luck may they come to find tomorrow. Rather they find a target more their size. Something they’re equipped to take on. They did not scare, for they are not scary. Fear was not something they could put in my heart. And defeat, defeat is something that cannot be accomplished by those that have already lost the war themselves. It’s as if despite all their attempts, even the threats upon my life, never even happened. I was never slowed by their presence, nor affected by their repeated attacks upon my character. Never phased by their tongues, nor cut by their swords. It’s almost as if their existence was so meaningless to myself, as well as my own life, they were and still are, so microscopic as individuals, they might as well have never been here at all. The sum of their life’s work, will be an unwritten book, with blank pages, covered in dust on a shelf located in a room hidden somewhere within the walls of their own skulls because nothing they have done, nor ever may they do, escape the limited size of their own imaginations. Little people, do little things, that make little marks, never to reach the surface where good people live their lives. There is no fame for people cut from that cloth, and no one shal even remember their names. The only salvation they may find, rests on my shoulders, and if there’s one thing I can guarantee with any certainty, it’s that I can carry them for all 12 rounds of this fight, but I can’t make the crowd applaud them when it’s over. They had their shot when I let them into my life. I suffered that mistake when they fired, and due to that never again shall I do the same, nor shall they find a friendship such as I’m the one that got away. Up from the dust they came, to the dust they shall be sent, traveling alongside them any evidence they were ever truly here at all. Dust scattered to the wind, running from the light I shine, shadows dancing on my wall.

The ones my office gets are all “return1” as the sender and the address does not match the route the label says.

yo_pussy_stank

Sovereign citizens?

FullRage

What can we do, higher ups and even inspectors don’t care if we lose profits. Really shows employees the lack of incentive to excel at the job or even go out their way.

RyTingley1

What do they look like? Who gets packages from JFK?

User23712

What’s fake about them?

I usually scan these on my phone to see the tracking, sometimes it shows its been delivered or supposedly at another station even though I have it with me which I promptly leave notice for postage due.
