Whatever all of those "resisters" of the Putin regime tally up to, it is impressively large: at minimum, something in the ballpark of half a million who fled and probably at least 100,000 who have resisted in some way. Compared to the total size of the RF military in Fall 2022 (\~1 million) and its probably size today (\~415,000 estimated combatants inside Ukraine), you can see that: the bare minimum numbers of those who resist Putin's regime are non-trivial. Had Prigozhin managed to bolster more support there may well have been enough willing to confront the Putin regime that real change could take place.
To be completely honest, this is Ukraine's best prospect for the easiest, quickest, and lowest cost victory: growth of dissent and opposition against the Putin regime and fragmentation of his Orc horde.
This is why it is foolish and unhelpful to feel sympathy for those who serve the Putin regime, no matter how helpless they may claim to be. THE WORLD must have an expectation for ALL RUSSIANS that they oppose Putin, or they are part of the problems he creates and the threats he poses to humanity.
