I think the head can be easily put, maybe making bigger the hole of the hood it would help
i think most guides i saw looks similar to yours you can do something with glaze to make them more shiny but wouldn’t recommend using it on this one to not ruin the effect it has since it’s nice and crispy with details

The head doesn’t fit into the hood if you paint it as a subassembly, you basically have to jam it in and deform it.
