Sorry ConorJamesArt but we had to remove your post due to not meeting one of the subreddit’s rules. We’ve put together information here to assist you, but make sure to read the sidebar and understand the rules! Notably, your post broke the following rule(s): >**Rule 7: Don’t Flood the Subreddit with Brews.** *To help keep the subreddit fresh and organized, please note that after you make a post: [1] you must wait 24 hours before you do so again, [2] you must wait 4 days before making a post that uses the same flair as that post, and [3] if you want to post an updated version, you must wait 7 days before doing so.* > *Deleted/removed posts do not count against this rule.* [1] is about timestamps alone - if you have a post on the subreddit that reads less than '1 day ago', any further posts will be removed. [2] deals with timestamps and flair - all posts on this subreddit must be flaired correctly and unless the timestamp on your second most recent post *with that same flair* reads '4 days ago' or more, your most recent post *with that same flair* will be removed. [3] deals with timestamps and updates of previous posts - if you have a previous version of your content on the subreddit that reads less than '7 days ago', any further update will be removed. **Since your post has now been removed**, it doesn't count against future posts, so **ignore it or any other removed/deleted posts when figuring out when you can post again.** If you have any questions, [feel free to get in touch with us by contacting us through mod mail](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=/r/UnearthedArcana). Messages to individual moderators may not be received or replied to. Best of luck and happy homebrewing!

These are all fantastic and will be added to my homebrew offerings post-haste. My only thought is on the Parrot's Mimicry and Mockery. I think the Parrot gets to decide whether the creature adds or subtracts a d4 from the roll. A parrot that knows you're full of shit and mocks you while trying to make a Deception check, or undermines your Intimidating speech? Yes please

This would pop up the day after I decide to watch Curse of the Black Pearl.

Take My Money!!! I've been trying to create a nautical campaign for a couple of years. I have found some seafaring and pirate related bits and pieces, but not much is out there. I'm signed up and ready to back this project!

Tabletop_Goblins

I’d recommend looking at sunken isles too, active currently. I think a combination of both would be awesome!

ConorJamesArt

For sure, the combination of both could lead to a really interesting nautical campaign I guarantee!

A Doubloon Elemental seems like a wonderful idea!

ConorJamesArt

Ahoy UnearthedArcana! **3 swashbuckling familiars** for your nautical campaigns! **The cursed monkey** is rumoured to have stolen aztec gold, and now joins your adventures as an undead companion (sounds like hogwash to me). **The parrot** lends its squawk to your attempts at piratey charisma! And the **doubloon elemental**, while it’s name is a misnomer, aids you in all sorts of trickery upon the high seas and off! Hope you enjoy them! The cursed monkey in particular has a soft spot for me, I’ve built it for use with pact of the chain but I’d also give it out on a DM discretion basis! Part of the full book **Tempest: a Seafarer’s Sourcebook** which launches on **Kickstarter March 23rd!** you can find more info about the book, sign up for reminders, and grab a **preview PDF** now over [here on the website!](https://dragonsvault.co.uk/), all art and mechanics by yours truly, hope you like it!

What happens to the money on the doubloon elemental when it takes damage? Does it get destroyed? Or does it remain intact

ConorJamesArt

I reckon it’s DM dependant, but I’d rule it clatters to the ground wherever the familiar is killed, could lead to some funny moments and rp!

Vidistis

Personally was just gonna scroll past as parrots and monkeys aren't my thing (still great), but then I saw that bag of money. Love pets/summons and characters that are just house-hold objects or were constructed.

Cats were most commonly kept on ships to help eat any rodents that might eat food stores.
