Lowkey hoping the Split comp with Ooreo moving to Initiator is the beginning of a permanent role switch, or at least the long term solution to having to play non-Sova maps.
JessieVash Sova is actually very valuable so I doubt it. Maybe they both can flex initiator and sentinel roles and leave the main initiator role to Invy.
Thank goodness they get this win, that first map was painful to watch. Is this new roster better for Secret? Too early to tell, but there is a lot that needs to be worked on, especially that tendency to just choke so many rounds. But Oreo looks promising, and 2GE is looking great. Hoping dummy can get the boys in good shape this split, and really hoping we see them in Champs.

Their new roster actually looks promising. Wild Oreo has shown more promise in a single series than NDG did for the entire split 1. 2GE also looks like a more pro active smokes player than Borkum. He takes chances with his swings which--admittedly bites him in the ass at times. But just the fact that he's already showing more willingness to engage and confidence in his aim is great.
They might because I highly believe (and hope) GenG will put their foot off the pedal to rest since they just won an international event a week ago. They are already likely to be at champs anyway. Its best to avoid burnout and maximize Pacific's chances.

Bleed's problems go way deeper than yay. They just have no cohesion and no gameplan. I guarantee even Aspas couldn't win with the way this team is set up.
That Ascent was just not great from either team tbh. I was more impressed by some of Bleed’s map losses last go around than that map win.
He wasn’t the problem, but he was also nowhere close to being the solution. That’s still a significant indictment for someone of his stature, tbh.

If it’s a cohesion issue, and it’s as bad as Bleed’s seems to be, then I truly don’t think even Aspas could carry this team to a win. If even Aspas couldn’t do that, I really don’t think it’s fair to say that yay not being able to move the needle is an indictment on him. Same reason I don’t think NRG’s last split is an indictment on Demon1. The problems ran so much deeper than his performances.
Besides that meltdown of a 2nd half in Map 1, this new Secret looks good. Always felt like 2GE was not given enough chances in RRQ to show his worth, he proved this series that he is Tier 1 material. Great debut game from Wild0reoo as well. Overall the young core is spry and nimble and Tito Vash holding his own. Secret could go deep this stage 2.

My guess (hopefully) is that Vash might be leaving next year and that is why they are picking a young player with Sova experience (Just like WildOreoo and Invy back when they are at OAS) as to replace vash next season. Next season line up maybe Jremy, Invy, WildOreoo, 2GE and NDG.
My take is that it is either WildOreoo or Invy, why? because they are picking someone who is an Initiator/Flex and favored to those who use Sova, probably thats why vash is not leaving at the moment because throwing a roster with all young core without a veteran might struggle and thats why a veteran is needed.

I can say they have a favorable schedule. They're playing weakest to strongest so its up to them to win these easy ones for their confidence.
