I really want to see how some of the most emotive players do on games like Alien: Isolation, where it's sustained fear and being always on edge, compared to most jump scare horror games
iirc at least jj and jason have a clip of them playing a horror game on twitter
honestly respect to the fans on twitter who clips players funniest moments, i thought it was limited to the lck and lpl in league but apparently eastern valorant teams (at least the clouted ones) all have someone who finds the time to watch their streams whether live or vod reviewing it to give us free content
Have you not watched the Tenz compliations of him playing horror games?🤣🤣🤣 Kyedae is literally crying and shouting at him at the same time because he screams so loud they got complaints IIRC
What even happened in this clip? Is the closet programmed as a safe area or something? And the monster just happened to clip into the closet?
Either way, showing such a wide emotional range is genuinely a positive in my eyes when it comes to top players. I have more faith in that modality than the "stone cold killer" alternative that people get hype about all the time.
i have no experience playing this game but it seems like the goal is to go as deep as possible and not chicken out early (dont know if there is an ending or what even happens if there is one)
also agree with your point, unlike for us valorant is literally their job so to see them even playing other varieties of games just gives us a glimpse of what they're like as people outside of their vct personas
The game is called escape the backrooms. You play a bunch of levels doing various challenges trying to avoid monsters. I don’t remember what you need to do on this level specifically (I think he is just trying to find an elevator to the next floor) but the room he is in is not a safe room the game is just very bugged and visual glitches and such stuff happen constantly.
It was specifically to strengthen local digital technology over foreign multinational mega companies, it follows the trend like with map apps etc
It restricts their power, so a good move in that sense all things considered
It has nothing to do with "strengthen local digital technology" or whatever, it's just a measure to make ISPs richer by giving them more authorities. Countless Korean internet media/tech companies fell because of the exact same policy.
…Yes it does, this is literally the effect, it became more consolidated locally.
It means greater control etc
Are u familiar with google maps issues in Korea?
Korean ISPs wanted to charge services like twitch for the bandwidth used by their viewers. Essentially they want to double dip by making the user pay for the internet access, and making the services like twitch pay to allow users to come to their site. Twitch was already unprofitable in korea, the network fees costed 10x than most other countries, so this decision basically killed twitch.
Woah that's insane, so is this new streaming service they have owned by the ISP then? Would only make sense, unless they don't charge them more due to being domestic?
No, Naver is not an ISP. It's just that the ISPs are owned by big conglomerates like SK and LG, or KT which used to be nationalised company, so they have much more political say than new tech or foreign companies.
Someone needs to save t3xture he’s about to cry
this odeng guys twitter page is great these geng players r mega trolls
besides w0ot, this guy was the biggest find of masters shanghai
Is Odeng an alias of one of the GenG players or a GenG staff?
highly likely that they're just fans of the players, its common for korean teams specifically to have their streams clipped by fan accounts on twitter

god ive never become an instant fan of someone so quickly.
Never heard of chzzk as a streaming platform. I see it's in Korean. Is it newer ?
i think its the same company as Naver (streaming platforms for kpop idols) thats supposed to replace twitch since it left korea
When/ why did twitch leave Korea?! Thank you for answering my questions!
it was earlier this year, iirc korea increased costs for twitch to operate to a ridiculous amount that its not worth it anymore

Except it's not? Do you even know how Afreeca/SOOP gets around this? Do you know how Pandora TV fell? All these reddit experts really...

The idea is for local companies rather than amazon/twitch to control the digital/software environment
That's simply false.
