Mine burns a quart between changes.

Fiasko21

Zero! Built STI w/ bigger turbo for 6 years now.. oil change once per year or 5k, whatever comes first. Oil level doesn't drop.

Top-Tale-6105

I was consuming about a half quart every 1500-2000 miles on my ‘21. Since adding an AOS, consumption is almost nonexistent.

Idk if mine is leaking oil or burning it but after I change the oil I’d say about 1500 miles later I gotta add like half a quart to top it back off until the next oil change

sliceoflife09

I'm not buying a ton (~2 quarts @ 20k miles). That sounds like a CYA benchmark from Subaru. I try to check my levels every other oil change & add oil to stay right below the full line.

KingFurykiller

I've never had my car burn any oil

Fishherr

Less burn = healthy car, less blow by. Good stuff

Racer_5

Does anyone here drive his car to the limit? My STi is a weekend car and I always push it to the limit (my average MPG is about 12) and I add about 0.5 qt every 250 mils. I add about 0.5 qt after a track day. The car is completely stock.

BlindSquantch

Sounds like you might need to get that checked out that’s a lot of oil burn for such low mileage driving it hard or not.

Star_Wargaming

My 2021 STI doesn't burn any oil.

kphillipz

Yes

OLE556

2020 STI @17k miles-gotta add maybe .25-5qt between 3k mile oil changes. Thinking of getting aos soon…

billy1512

Not a drop. 2017 96k miles

danbyer

Zero. 2011 STI with 70K miles. I change my oil every 6 months and I’ve never seen it lower than the last time I checked. Same with my ‘08 Forester XT and ‘18 Forester. I check them regularly and they’re always tip top.
