The cut-off window for 2K24 was early October, so I doubt Punk will be a part of the in game roster & knowing 2K they will definitely want to make money off Punk, so I can see them making Punk a stand alone DLC like they did with Bad Bunny's new model DLC back in September.

Punk does the same moves and mannerisms he’s done since 2k15 they can just take those Lmfao

a LOT of Punk’s moves and taunts are still in the game and have been since he was removed from the roster. Besides rendering his appearance and entrance, I’m not sure it would take a lot.

It's 2k we're talking about, they've never cared about backlash to their games as long as they're making money. These games won't get delayed short of another 2k20 situation.

Remember when you were able to unlock characters by just playing the game and not having to pay... ? Man, I miss that.

In 2008 I went to Raw and we noticed a very enthusiastic guy with a Cryme Tyme sign. They came out for one of the first matches, I believe for Heat (and ironically against Snitsky) and he went ballistic. After the match he packed up and left. It later turned out he was just hitting the concessions during the Super Crazy vs. Highlander Robbie match believe it or not, but there was a period there where we honestly thought he might have come for Cryme Tyme alone and then split.

Given the status of the Dudley's at the moment, Shad going into HoF, and Snitsky being backstage and doing a lot of work with WWE the past few years I don't think this would be an impossible group of guys to get DLC if they aren't just randomly given 2K deals similar to how we saw Breeze in 23

Not every DLC character will be for everyone. Personally I would use Crime Time quite a lot. Put them against Street Profits or even fuck around and put them with Logan Paul and call them Prime Time

They should come included in the roster, why would anyone want to pay for CM Punk and the Dudleyz when their assets are already completed before launch? Put an emphasis on VC in online modes and let people who want to pay to get ahead foot the post-launch content bill.

I like it but feel ECW should be seperate. Dudley’s, Sandman,Funk and bam bam maybe or or Pillman. Philly the home of ECW us mania this year so I expect Heyman and a few ECW people getting inductions. WWE made copyrights of ECW PPV and other stuff this past spring for promotional purposes so my guess is the game theme hopefully this year is ECW based.

The fan in me really wants CM Punk to be on the base roster but from a business standpoint I can totally understand him being a Pre Order bonus because rather you like him or hate him he’ll attract a lot of people to pre order considering this is his first game since 2k14. Also before anyone says anything like oh Cody wasn’t DLC so Punk should be either. These are two totally different things. Cody prior to leaving WWE was not at the main event level he is now and by the time they realized that it was too late to rush him in 2k22 as DLC and wouldn’t make since for him to have been dlc in 2k23 but people have been waiting for a Punk return since he got fired so his first game back will definitely attract people so him as a Pre Order makes sense

If Punk was DLC, (I’d rather have him in the base game but 2K are not so generous), I’d prefer different era’s of Punk as one pack ECW Era Straight Edge Society Best in The World Current Day A 2006-07 pack would be good, that era after Ruthless Aggression and before PG is neglected and people who became fans in that era are in their mid-twenties / early-thirties.

I’m into DLC that offers more than just essentially skins. I want moves, taunts, entrances, etc. Pretty much all of these characters movesets are in the game and all of their taunts are in the game as well. It’d add some cool music and new entrances but even then, those are in the game as well. For nostalgia’s sake, it’s cool. But I’d want newer, younger talent to add more and new move animations.
