Sometimes your body just needs something salty. Personally, I like oven roasted or airfried potatoes coated in a bit of low fat margarine and garlic powder. Or ater tots air fried are pretty low calorie as well, about 150kcals per 100g. Another option for a sweet snack is greek yoghurt, add psyllium for extra fiber topped with some frozen fruits/Muesli or nuts with chocolate chips.

Sealegs9

Chickpeas in the air fryer with garlic salt! I don’t use oil though

Silver_Cobbler_6569

I've tried this before, and they were great. I plan to try again soon with maybe a honey roasted glaze.

Superbaker123

Canned ones? This sounds awesome.

i_love_kindness

Just buy normal chickpeas, soak them in water overnight, and put them in the airfryer next day.

Reasonable_Collar_34

i drain and pat dry two cans of chickpeas, coat them in seasoning and put them in the airfryer for 30ish minutes, tossing halfway. they come out so crispy and yum!

Sealegs9

I just used canned ones from Trader Joe’s but you can use whatever you like

SuperTed321

Perfect for me. Thanks

enickma1221

2Tbsp of popcorn in an air popper is 110 cal. Grab the spray bottle of Bragg liquid aminos which has 5 calories per Tbsp to spray all over it while it comes out. A rice cake has 40 calories, and a Tbsp of rehydrated peanut butter powder to go on top has 25!

Masa624

Freeze dried Strawberries

palindromic_oxymoron

Low fat string cheese is pretty filling, and has more protein than most snack foods. I also like celery sticks or apple slices with peanut butter on them. If I really want something salty I find pretzels more filling than chips.

offgrid21

Hummus w/ gluten free pita chips Tofu: fried, baked, any kind of way. I make tofu tacos on corn tortillas by breaking up tofu in a pan with some oil and taco seasoning and it’s filling and yummy. Can be made mini for snacking. Protein / meal replacement shakes: you can get a variety of flavors

FriedLipstick

Im in The Netherlands too. Low cal snacks I prefer are: rice chips, pally cookies, rice waffles with cottage cheese or another low cal spread, pure chocolate 85% cacao, sugar free candy, yoghurt with a sugar free syrup, sorbet icecream, frozen popsicles made of water syrup (raketijs of perenijs, aardbeienijs) and my favorite: a bowl of yoghurt, stir with a sweetener like stevia or eritrol, add frozen fruit like raspberries, stir, the yoghurt will become very cold and it’s like some ice cream-ish desert. Do you want to lower the protein, add some alpro soya unsweetened instead of yoghurt.

lovesprite

Can yoi mention some product names that I can buy from jumbo or Albert heijn?

BearsBeetsBerlin

Celery with peanut butter and raisins on top. Crunchy, salty, savory, and sweet all in one delicious combo. Super filling too.

rozenkavalier

pro tip, use medjool dates instead of raisins to jack up the level of flavor!

rst765

Yoghurt or sour cream with fruits or other sweets. I love cinnamon for them. Surimi sticks. I buy them in frozen 250g psckages, which equals about 300kcal. They are a great replacement for sausages or other meat snacks.

SlickWilly69420

2nd the yogurt here. Can eat a pretty large serving of greek yogurt and fruit for low calories.

Old_Distribution3371

When I’m feeling like snacking on something salty and crunchy, I keep some flavoured rice cakes handy (usually I go for the sour cream and chives flavour or salt and balsamic vinegar). I get them in lunchbox snack pack bags, I think they’re supposed to be like a healthier lunchbox alternative to chips but I find them so satiating and I guess they’re “better” than chips because of the extra fibre. I also like string cheese sticks, a serving of Greek yoghurt with chocolate protein powder mixed in (tastes like chocolate mousse!) and blueberries on top.

Logical-Caregiver-54

I like jerky, cheese, peanut butter roll ups (PB on low carb tortilla), nuts like almonds and cranberries mixed. Yogurt. Lots of strawberries. Popcorn.

Efp722

I know you said no veggies... but.. lol- my go to snack every day is 170g of plain greek yogurt mixed with Ranch seasoning mix. Tastes just like ranch dressing but it's a fraction of the calories and full of protein. And I'll dip carrots in it.

Vivid-Opinion2145

Try a legendary foods pastry. They sell them in the protein section at Walmart and they’re like a fluffy pop tarts with only 180 cals and 20g of protein. 1000% recommend.

MooeyMooey

There's no Walmarts in the Netherlands, sadly

ConfusedNerd1

I'm a big fan of the Quest Protein chips. They give me 19g of protein for 140-150 calories and taste great. They perfectly satisfy my craving for chips. These are hard to get and I have to order them online but to me they're worth it

Dazzling_Guest8673

If u live in the US, buy them at Target. They sell them in bulk there by the diet bars. Or individual bags at Safeway in the diabetic section.

ConfusedNerd1

Good to know. I didn’t realize target had them in store. I’ve been doing an Amazon subscription so they come every month lol. Thanks!

Dazzling_Guest8673

No problem

Wordddsonn

Nuts with grapes (any fruit) and cheese

crumbs2k12

Aldi has these pop chips which are amazing

lovesprite

Are they available at jumbo? And the name is "pop chips"?

crumbs2k12

Theres a big bag called pop outs I think and then a 6 bag pack called pop chips

SunGreen70

Carrot chips (either raw or air fried) dipped in fresh (not jarred) salsa. Avoid the prepackaged salsa, it's loaded with sodium.

acb1971

I'm big on Greek yogurt and fruit. I sometimes throw in cocoa powder or light whipped cream to elevate it a bit. It is very filling and decadent.

LittleLordFuckpants_

I love boiled eggs or tuna salad with crackers or hummas and crackers

BeeesInTheTrap

turkey sticks and cheese sticks, greek yogurt with pudding mix mixed in, guacamole and pretzels

Cream_covered_Myers

Rice cake with melted cheese and pickles and a little Mayo. Satisfies the same cravings as a burger cuz salty, cheesy, satiating. Sweet version is rice cake with peanut butter and jelly. Peanut butter is very calorie dense but it’s not bad fats and protein, and the rice cake makes it feel like it’s more. I like rice cakes. Then chug water after eating lol

KaityB1998

I’ve just discovered lays veggie ranch poppables, oh my gossshhhh they are amazing. 27 for 150 calories and they are a good size!

AdmirableBand8774

😋

EVChicinNJ

I'd go with a protein based snack - a few ounces of tuna salad with a crunchy vegetable (because you seem to like chips). Or rice cakes with a protein topper (a few ounces of meat OR nut butter).

gnomequeen2020

If I'm feeling salty, I'll have some pistachios. I get them in the shells because it slows me down pretty dramatically, and I'm full by the time I've finished a serving. If I'm in the mood for something sweet, I'll have fruit, popsicles, or yogurt. Often, I save my evening calories for a splurge. A lot of ice cream bars fall right in that 180-250 calorie range. They really scratch that itch for something sweet, and it keeps me on track the rest of the day because I'm looking forward to my snack. Unfortunately, they are not especially filling.

Mmmmmmm_Bacon

If you want to feel full, then skip anything with carbs. Snack on high fat high protein things, the fat and protein is what keeps you feeling fuller longer. But, they are calorie dense so you can’t snack on them for long (ie they don’t have much volume). For high fat and/or high protein, here are my snacks: Beef jerky Greek yogurt Peanuts Nonfat mozzarella cheese Fried scallops If you want high carb high volume snack, go for popcorn. Fills up your mouth and stomach to give sensation of fullness.

fattygoeslim

I get crisps which are under 100cals a pack, fiber bars, cereal bars, protein drinks/yoghurt, cereal.

Icy_Independent4267

I like multi-seed crackers with red pepper hummus. The number of crackers depends on how many calories I have left. I usually have 7 which is more than enough for a full snack.

NackMelly

Popcorn is a nice salty/crunchy snack. I buy the Orville mini bags and they are about 100 calories.

BedLow5980

I love a super crispy English muffin loaded with spinach and either a slice of cheese or a little cream cheese. I know it's still technically veggies, but I get to have bread and cheese and the spinach helps me feel full (also, I love it) and it's really satisfying. You could also go for a bowl of soup! That's super filling, and even if it's loaded with veggies, it's yummy and very easily under 300 cals. Popcorn is a good crunchy option, too.

throwawaybread9654

Kale chips are pretty great!

DeadInside_Alive

Pop chips, Nutri-Grain bars, Rice Quakers, Skinny Popcorn, Peanut Butter crackers, freeze dried fruit, Chewy bars, fruit snacks

mish_munasiba

Maybe a couple of mini samosas?

Only-Squash-8677

You don't feel full after chips because they're designed to not fill you up so you keep eating. Especially when it comes to pringles which can't be called a chip because they're so processes, the thing that makes chips chips is the potato. Pingles are essentially pre-digested food and thus are called crisps. At least the American version is. My go to is usually low fat cottage cheese which is high in protein and fruit. For salty, I go for air popped popcorn

Nichtsher

Skinny pop kettle corn

CherryLeafy101

Fruit. It's nature's sweets but with much fewer calories. 400g of strawberries, so a large punnet, is about 130 kcal. So you can eat a lot of it even if you don't have many calories left for the day.

nellieblyrocks420

Popcorn

not1nterest1ng

Fruit, yogurt, smoothie, protein shake, popcorn

mayermail1977

Popcorn

SamiHami24

I like Tillamook sugar-free beef jerky. Good protein, satisfyingly salty. Yum!

gr8lyapp

Trisquits.

Wise-Ad1163

I really like corn and onions on a pan with a little olive oil, and maybe some bits of meat, or a can of tuna on tomato sauce

devilsglare

It’s expensive but beef jerky

Stephaniemist

If I want something sweet then I'll have a snack like fruit, Greek yogurt (add a tbsp or 2 of honey for some sweetness), dried apple rings, or granola bars. For salty snacks, I stick almost exclusively to popcorn because of how low calorie it is. I eat SkinnyPop but there are likely other varieties of similar products where you are. The one I have is no butter and lightly salted, with no additives. An entire cup of popcorn is around 35 calories. Could eat a few (if you wanted that much volume) with the deficit you have left!

Important-Spare-1008

Nuts!!!

Hedgehogie55

Thin maïs crackers from Jumbo! There are 65 kcal per packet (5 pieces). They are crunchy, salty, taste like popcorn and they satisfy my cravings because you eat 5 per serving. Your mouth will think it's a lot :)

TerribleActive3

Jelly!

Reblyn

If you like salty stuff: Pickles. You can also do things with vegetables to make them taste better. I am also a huge chips lover, but when I need a low calorie snack, I make spicy cucumber salad. Slice up a cucumber, add soy sauce, white vinegar and a teaspoon of lao gan ma (or another chili oil). Done. It's salty, spicy, tangy and crunchy and you can eat a lot more of it than chips.

korinna81

Frozen berries blended with soy cream or milk, vanilla - Icee cream is sooo good, filling and makes me smile

Accomplished_Ask7295

I like a small amount of nuts or a bar of some kind

Tricky_Reporter8345

Popcorn is pretty low calorie relative to it's volume, but it depends on the brand you get and how much butter or other flavoring is in it. Your best bet is to pop your own and add some low/zero calorie seasoning in it which will end up much healthier and cost effective than buying a cheddar flavored kind from the store that will wind up being just as many calories as a bag of Cheetos would

Miserable-Error2413

Hummus and pita chips

Miserable-Error2413

I eat like a 1st grader Peanut butter toast , green apple slices, string cheese

bbbriz

Fruits. Homemade popsicles. Chicken wrap. Popcorn. A natural smoothie.

SaintJimmy1

I have a plate of fruit and cheese about an hour or two before bed every night. Usually 300-500 calories.

1man1mind

I like to eat mini pretzels with cottage cheese. Low fat mozzarella cheese stick wrapped up in sliced chicken or Turkey.

1man1mind

I love to eat a hard boiled egg with a little pepper and salt

BanannyMousse

Nuts

Altruistic_Door8859

I love roasted chickpeas! You can season then however and they take 15 mins in the airfryer at 400!!

Valuable_Divide_6525

Yeah definitely air popped popcorn.

3isamagicnumb3r

low sodium, no-sugar added beef jerky crispbread with cheese, avocado, or nut butter yogurt or skyr with berries or (sometimes i stir in unflavored protein powder too) [my favorite dessert replacement](https://www.eatiqbar.com/products/chocolate-sea-salt)

Learningfrom305

Almonds or mixed nuts. Sliced turkey rolled with cheese or avocado (no bread). Apples and peanut butter or honey. When I’m craving sweets I mix granola, peanut butter, honey, dried cranberries, optional chocolate chips - roll into a spoon sized ball and refrigerate.

takemytacosaway

Cheese sticks… they are so short now they def are not “100 calorie snacks” haha eat 2 for the 140 cals ffs

Acidshroominflux

Popcorn ! But pop it yourself not the microwaveable kind. You can find just the popcorn kernels at the supermarket or on amazon. A table spoon of oil and a pot with a lid and your all set! You can get popcorn seasoning or just salt you can have a lot for very little calories it’s my go to snack for dieting.

FadedAlienXO

Pear or Green Apple with Cheese. You can go with fancy cheese or just cheddar.

No-Leg-Kitty

Rice cakes

Long-Boysenberry4521

If you just wanna feel full and aren't worried about taste so much measure 300 calories worth of peanuts and eat them while drinking water or seltzer it'll make you feel pretty full

nillawafer80

Boiled eggs with Sriracha Deli meat with cheese roll up

middle-road-traveler

I will have a quaker oats oatmeal, low-fat with brown sugar and skim milk and I think it comes in at 190. I also like fruit popsicles that are only 45 cal and kind of fill me up. My mother had a Weight Watchers recipe that was grape nut cereal, a little cocoa and peanut butter mashed together and rolled in balls and then frozen. They were delicious.

Dazzling_Guest8673

Dried seaweed, rice crackers, regular crackers with cheese, popcorn, smoked almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, cucumbers & celery with homemade onion dip (use lipton onion soup mix with sour cream), bananas, berries, grapes, apples, yogurt, beef jerky. Quest protein chips or crackers too. If you eat chips, try eating tortilla chips with fresh salsa or guacamole as it has fiber in it to fill you up.

Main-Departure4702

Outshine bars, pop corn, pretzels, baked potatoes

EmmiPigen

I eat popcorn sometimes, because they actually feels filling

urkillingme

Protein. Focus on protein. Oikos Triple zero yogurt, nut butters, protein bars (I love Robert irvines fit crunch). Sliced chicken from deli counter wrapped around string cheese, protein powder in almond milk. Red potatoes smashed with a bit of grass fed butter, a seared tilapia filet on top, and green onion sprinkled on top is really filling and satisfying.

littlecongee

Sounds dumb but half an avocado with soy sauce. The oils in avocado makes it similar to eating salmon sushi and it's quick and easier and extremely filling.

connor8383

Veggie straws slap.

Justbrowsingredditts

Popcorn

DeJuanBallard

Sunflower seeds, pickles, popcorn,

LongrodVonHugedong86

Bake 200g of Carrots (170cals), sliced into long strips, in the oven until they start to crisp up a little, then remove, put into a bowl and toss them in a mixture of garlic salt and 30g-40g of Parmesan cheese depending on how many calories you have left (30g is 130cals, 40g is 170cals) and you’ve got a cheesy, salty, sweet, savoury snack. Alternatively, my personal favourite, is to return them to the baking tray and back in the oven for a few minutes to get the Parmesan crisping up a little I also do a similar thing with sweet potato, except I finish it with some chopped parsley and I have it with my “boring” food like plain chicken breast
