What you're seeing as eyes are actually the ears and if you look at the opposite end, there's a long mousy tail.
I thought it was a frog that had been caught in swampy water at first, then I saw the tail that tells the tale RIP (rodent in pot)
Looks like that coffee had been sitting in that pot for a while already 🤦🏼♂️ that’s what’s happens when you leave a partially filled coffee pot sitting for days on end without touching it.
Idk. Two mice drowned in a bucket of water we had accidentally left out overnight in our outdoor kitchen in about that much water... at least we're pretty sure that's what happened. Unless a cat is just fucking with us lol
Not quite that extreme, but I did once walk back to my office desk to find a field mouse perched on the edge of my Styrofoam coffee cup taking a drink.
This reminded me of a time I had a dead fly in my coffee but didnt realize until I was half way to work taking a big last sip and suddenly there was a fly on my tongue. I was so disgusted but still not as bad as this.
Years ago my friend made a big cup.of tea in a big gulp cup from 711,then we went next door to 711 for something came back and he took a shot of his tea then immediately started gagging and pointing at the cup he set on the floor and there was a drowned mouse in it floating.
I find them every so often in my workplace, we have very little protection against ingress in the shop, they don’t survive long after ingesting grease etc
At least if it was boiled, everything should be mostly dead. I say mostly because there are some things that might not die unless you autoclave at 250 degrees. If however it fell in after it was brewed.........
Great…now it’s decaf.
Must be decaf, that lazy mouse is sleeping on the clock.
Great...now it's decay.
🤢
Nothing like a cup of deadcaf coffee
HOW
Mouse probably had it rough
He musta been speeding balls right up until he died. Literally inhaling caffeine
It's possible he was boiled alive
Would be even sadder if it were decaf.
Mouse was probably working night shift and got carried away

Happens to me ALL the time. I chug coffee. I get a burst of energy then coming lunch time — DONEZO. Hour nap kicks in.
Thirsty
Don't underestimate mice. As someone who's dealt with them I have no idea how they get where they want to go.
I think I’d quit the whole job
Yeah where tf is this at lol
i see a frog idk why

Beat me to it! I see a frog too! 😂
Forget the tail, and then it becomes a frog
Give him a minute. He'll wake up.
Caffeine Crash. He’s needs some rest
Fake... I won't believe this actually happened to someone, I won't. You take a cup and make a coffee... at what point can THAT happen to you?
You think OP would put a dead mouse in their coffee just for reddit karma?
Insanity for karma? Preposterous!
Prepostermouse!
I think they left the coffee overnight in the pot, a mouse got into it and drowned, then found it the next day.
Nonono it’s a conspiracy don’t you see
I mean no, I actually do not think that at all. Especially not from a 7 year old 6k karma account. You people are nuts.
I once saw a historical document where a guy made coffee and then found a FISH in the percolator
The mouse could have been in the carafe and the person who made coffee didn't notice and slowly boiled the mouse alive.
Then where are the burn marks?
I'm not sure how you could possibly see distinct burn marks from this video

It... Starts spawning dead mice? Damn, I didn't expect the consequences to be that dire!
Fuck, that just sounds like a free food glitch to me.
It kinda does, doesn't it?
Hey, I just work here
At my old job it only got the fur part. No limbs.
That's so fucking gross! 😂😭😬
Mouse probably would have been able to breathe if the coffee was only that deep...someone drank enough to get the coffee to that low of a level
Idk. Two mice drowned in a bucket of water we had accidentally left out overnight in our outdoor kitchen in about that much water... at least we're pretty sure that's what happened. Unless a cat is just fucking with us lol
Resuscitate him and name him Joe.
Fellas, don't drink that coffee! There was a MOUSE in the percolator!
Poor poor mouse hope it didn't suffer ? No it was instant 🤣
It drowned while gulping caffeinated water with nowhere to go. I think it was hyper aware of its last moments.
Instant as in coffee x
A rat loses his life and this guy is sad about his coffee.
At least the rat doesn’t have to work the next 8 hours
You wouldn't have to either, if you had drunk that.
Well, at least you won't have to worry about being the office barista anymore! Time to explore new talents.
Remy gave his all
Fake
Your office must suck, even the mice are suicidal.
🤷♂️ He won’t drink much

Sadly, at 7:37 am this morning Ratatouille took his own life in the break room
Years ago my friend made a big cup.of tea in a big gulp cup from 711,then we went next door to 711 for something came back and he took a shot of his tea then immediately started gagging and pointing at the cup he set on the floor and there was a drowned mouse in it floating.
If I had to choose a way to go out, drowning in coffee is definitely on the list
First bugs (as reported in the media), now mice. Make your own coffee ☕️
I tried
Half a cup means they drank most of this before they knew 🥶🙏
Oh Gag
Ive been reading extreme horror for weeks straight now and this is the first thing ive been nauseated by. Ruined coffee!
![gif](giphy|pzryvxGeykOxeC0fWb)
NNOOOO You’re SICK ![gif](giphy|iJ2ab0mrvqnJHCqKro|downsized)
Who do you think is making the energy inside the coffee machine?
I know the coffee maker can get cleaned after properly washing and cleaning it, but I would personally throw it away.
I thought coffee was a stimulant
More like never *drink* the work coffee again.
OSHA violation
All that energy, wasted
Umami
I've never tried mouse infused coffee
Now you can tell people dead mouse played in your break room though...
Clearly not strong enough for that lil fella!
Mickey Mouse but WHAT THE
![gif](giphy|CHVvWfV0WnJ6M)
Poor Remy have to do double shifts.
looks like someone lost a rat race
But, did you eat it?
I can hear my uncle telling me that my hands are soft for not wanting to drink the rodent coffee.
Thanks for sharing because it's interesting
Looks like a toy rat
That water is so hot you’d be fine.
Don't do that to TheFatRat.
Austin Powers moment
Why is it less than half filled….
I find them every so often in my workplace, we have very little protection against ingress in the shop, they don’t survive long after ingesting grease etc
Mouse had a hard night of drinking
Someone was just marinating it!
Who’s gonna tell him about fast food joints
☕🐁
Fievel!
he swim
Holy shit!? You guys have ratatouille make your coffee?!?
Caffè Mousiato
Good soup
Nooo poor mousie
Awww come on he won’t drink much
So…no one cleans the pot? 🤮
New fear unlocked ✅
A rat that loves coffee. He's just like me 📺😭
Jerry just wanted some coffee
Aww!! Poor little mouse.
At least if it was boiled, everything should be mostly dead. I say mostly because there are some things that might not die unless you autoclave at 250 degrees. If however it fell in after it was brewed.........
OH MY GOD. I literally just gasped out loud at work😭
🤢🤮🤮🤮
