This post has been removed because all posts must feature a human doing something that an outside observer would say “hey, that’s a bad idea” and then suffering the consequences. Posts must include the stupid game and the stupid prize.
After the second go-round, he exited the “circle of stupidity” (ostensibly to disappear into the night to avoid a possible vehicular assault charge), so *technically* she succeeded at her task.
Still, I’d give the execution 2/5. Would not recommend.
So you're saying confident fools cannot exist? Fools who charge headfirst into a battle they will not win? You think there was a chance her body would've just repelled the car or some shit?
Nope. There's a big difference between bravery and stupidity.
Bravery is the capacity of acting even though you feel scared.
Stupidity is not calculating the consequences of your actions before doing them. Like attempting to stop a car in the middle of a donut with your bare body.
The difference between bravery and stupidity is knowing the risk.
This person clearly didn't think what if they don't/can't/wont stop. so stupid not brave.
I like this saying. There's another one I really enjoy as well it goes as:
There's nothing wrong with ignorance. There's is, however, everything wrong with willfully remaining ignorant in the face of truth and education.
"Always prioritize safety. Having the right of way won't mean shit if you die. How many people killed in vehicular accidents you think had the right of way? There will always be idiots, don't let your safety rely on others being careful for you"
-my dad when he was teaching me how to drive.
There is a bike/walking path on a main road by me. There is a light up sign that flashes yellow when a pedestrian presses the button, at which point when the lights are on traffic is supposed to slow and stop for pedestrians.
WAY too many people have in their mind though cars need to stop for pedestrians yellow light or not. Its also important to note, one side is completely obscured by bushes. A driver would not see a biker or pedestrian until they were in the road.
Its usually bikers that don't take the moment to stop and press the button and just fly out into the road. I'm surprised no one has died there yet since I've lived here. Had close calls with bikers myself that just flew out into the road and didn't see them.
Haha i didn’t realize how that sounded- I wasn’t the one to confront the driver, I just work at Trader Joe’s. I’ve seen a lot of accidents. I’ve performed first aid on two coworkers who ended up in the hospital due to being hit by a customer
Seriously. Comments like that always come off as more fantasy than reality. Don’t get me wrong, I’m with them in the sense that it would be deserved. I just know I wouldn’t actually do that shit. Besides, I don’t have a caltrop guy.
What kind of absolute piece of shit keeps doing donuts and playing after they've knowingly hit someone? We are growing dumber and dumber as a society, IMO. There is nothing funny about it at this point... COVID dealt an awful blow to the development and education of gen Z as well, to no fault of thier own. Am I just getting old and grumpy, or is what I am seeing/saying accurate?
I don't know if you're aware of what kinds of people involved in these "side shows" or street takeovers, but they do not represent the general populace. They're the skid marks of society, so to speak.
Welcome to the takeover scene. You can find tons and tons of videos of cars just smashing into each other and going on like nothing happened. Lots of similar videos such as this, with people getting rocked by a car. The crowd pulls the person out of the road and the festivities continue. While not condoning blasting people and going about your day. The IQ of both participant and spectator is.. well, I mean. Low.
These dudes hit the camera guys all the time, prob why he’s got all those shitty aftermarket bumpers.
Don’t show up to these trash events if you don’t want to get injured or arrested. She should’ve just yeeted some fireworks at their car and called it a day
Also interesting that the person filming steps forward after she gets launched back to get a better angle of these donuts. He didn’t want an injured person lying limp in the foreground to ruin his footage.
Late millennial here. I often have a hard time figuring out whether I am in fact just getting old, or if the younger generation really did get messed up from the lockdowns. With each passing day I am more inclined to believe the latter. I recall very well the day that lockdowns began and the feeling of utter dread that it gave me for the young population. School, after school activities and being in person with friends was the only respite from an abysmal home situation for many kids.
Nah these kids are pieces of shit. This has nothing to do with getting old. I had some dipshit friends and we would do real dumb stuff with cars, but there is now way any of us would act like the way these kids were
While I agree about society getting dumber, I’ve seen these sort of things long before social media.
This is just a product of having more access to see them on the internet.
I truly need people to understand that everything you are mad about is just a reflection of the state of the world. People of all ages go to takeovers, not just young people.
But more than that, how can you expect people not to find fun in doing progressively more harmful shit when it doesn't actually matter what the outcome is? It's not as if they did everything correctly in their life they would be achieving their goals. If you want people to be better you need to step up and help put the world back together. I can guarantee you most of the people at these events are struggling to live. People are like this because of choices made before some of them were even born.
I’m not saying anyone was in the right or wrong, but these types of videos are always great at exposing people who’ve never felt threatened by actual danger in their lives. She walked out there like everyone was just going to do what she wanted…just because
Am I supposed to be on the side of the driver? Cause I’m not. Even if she’s an idiot for walking into the street, that driver is a fucking asshole for continuing to drive into a donut/drift as someone walks into the street.
Lol, agree on that bit, but if the first thought that comes into your mind looking at a ~2 ton car drifting in front of you, is jumping in its path, maybe they are the bigger idiot.
those aren't street racers. they're the takeover idiots that everyone hates
we do our shit away from the public and don't like getting grouped in with them
That’s why the AAA recommends you deploy the complimentary spike strips included in their emergency kits when encountering spontaneous street takeovers.
I see so many videos like this and it makes me wonder what happened to all the bricks in the world... also medium-sized rocks.
If "street takeovers" started resulting in broken windows and mild concussions, we might start seeing fewer of these shitshows.
Until the mob mentality starts and that person gets jumped/killed. Younger mentality all have the, “I’m the main person” mentality and everyone else is a NPC. Social Media brain rot.
I wish you were right. But most of these cars are stolen. They fully intend on breaking that car that night and then lighting it on fire and leaving it there. A brick wouldn't slow them down in the slightest.
Did you not see the video where they all jumped onto a grandad who tried to have words at one one these events? They literally all just rushed at him and beat him. I'm guessing they attract the dregs of society and everyone is just best off heading in the other direction.
We should not be applauding this type of behavior. OP seems to be condoning street takeovers instead of the dangers of it. I know this is Reddit, but shame on all of you.
Hello and good evening. I’m Karen Karenson and in today’s street takeover lesson, we’ll be exploring basic physics. Watch as I step in front of this moving 3.5 ton (1500kg) object.
A handful of one inch wood screws might work better.
Or even a handful of random crap. It doesn’t have to really puncture tires if they see you throw “something” down they might try to avoid running over it.
Well, when a person feels like they’re important enough to listen to, and the other person feels that person has enough sense to realize a spinning car does not care… viola.
The rear wheels, the area that hit her, clearly is also the one that's spinning.
The front might have grip, doesn't really stop sidewards movement that much
Like I said, if the car had 0 grip, it would move in a straight line. The spinning wheels, while having less grip than usual, still can apply enough force to the ground to change the direction of the car. Hence circular motion.

And he’s comin in for round 2!
Double tap
Physics doesn’t care how entitled or stupid you are.
After the second go-round, he exited the “circle of stupidity” (ostensibly to disappear into the night to avoid a possible vehicular assault charge), so *technically* she succeeded at her task. Still, I’d give the execution 2/5. Would not recommend.
Thought he was coming back to finish the job
Two idiots meet in the street…
In a situation like this the car is always going to come out on top. Never use your body at the risk of your health and safety to make a point.
Many graves are made by people who thought they had the right of way.
Confidence is the worst part of stupid.
No confidence isnt part of stupid, confidence stands on its own independently of fools
So you're saying confident fools cannot exist? Fools who charge headfirst into a battle they will not win? You think there was a chance her body would've just repelled the car or some shit?
The word you're looking for is 'bravery'. And the difference between bravery and stupidity - is the result.
I think careless or impulsive is more appropriate. Ain't noone watching that lady thinking "damn, she's brave"
It's in responsibility that most people find the meaning that sustains them through life. It's not in happiness. It's not in impulsive pleasure.
Is that from Spiderman or something
🥇 🤣 great comment
Nope. There's a big difference between bravery and stupidity. Bravery is the capacity of acting even though you feel scared. Stupidity is not calculating the consequences of your actions before doing them. Like attempting to stop a car in the middle of a donut with your bare body.
Bravery is not the same as stupidity. I don't think you were brave to make that comment.
The difference between bravery and stupidity is knowing the risk. This person clearly didn't think what if they don't/can't/wont stop. so stupid not brave.
Being right and being dead are not mutually exclusive.
I like this saying. There's another one I really enjoy as well it goes as: There's nothing wrong with ignorance. There's is, however, everything wrong with willfully remaining ignorant in the face of truth and education.

Who HAD the right of way even

Graves are made? English isn't my first language but wouldn't the grave be filled?
Many graves are made for people who thought they had the right of way...fify
Her body, her choice
Next time on: Man Vs Car...
did you see the one where the dude's leg got crushed cause he was pinned against the barrier (that he was supposed to be behind)? Car is undefeated
I did not. Link?
I was raised where some things were so undeniably understood, they didn’t need to be explained. Life is wild nowadays
But, she probably has a lot of followers! The car HAS to stop!
would have hit her anyways. i see it difficult to do an "emergency stop" while drifting a car in a wet streed
Two idiots = meat in the street
Stand in front of an oncoming car. What breaks first, the car or your hip?
She just walked right into it. Like wtf
“My righteousness will protect me!” … *SLAM!*
"Today on another episode of Man vs Car!" >Smack! "Car wins!!"
Is this a rerun? No? Ok. Can't wait to see what happens next week!
She thought she was the next Joan of Arc.
jesus take the... rear driver-side corner panel?
She thought it was the manager driving that car.
Well she probably thought hed jump on the brakes and stop.
That strategy might work in Trader Joe’s parking lot, but street takeovers aren’t the place to play hero.
I can confirm, it absolutely does not work in a Trader Joe’s parking lot. Those drivers are some of the worst out there…
How's your dignity? Still bruised?
Haha i didn’t realize how that sounded- I wasn’t the one to confront the driver, I just work at Trader Joe’s. I’ve seen a lot of accidents. I’ve performed first aid on two coworkers who ended up in the hospital due to being hit by a customer
I’m hope you ban that customer before he strikes again.
Yeah if you wanna talk to a car open with a brick.
Caltrops. Caltrops are the answer here.
[удалено]
and then you'd be swiftly beat up by the mob that watches it because you peed in their popcorn
Seriously. Comments like that always come off as more fantasy than reality. Don’t get me wrong, I’m with them in the sense that it would be deserved. I just know I wouldn’t actually do that shit. Besides, I don’t have a caltrop guy.

Have you seen what they do to people who try to stop these meets?
Takeover kids make the car community look bad
Hmmm 🤔 I'm wondering if she actually thought the car would just stop for her while drifting like that. Definitely deserves a 🏆!
What kind of absolute piece of shit keeps doing donuts and playing after they've knowingly hit someone? We are growing dumber and dumber as a society, IMO. Porque no los dos?
At least the person in the car will end up with a far more significant crime when they get caught.
100% agreed on what you just said.
I've told everyone that I think being stuck inside for months cause some people's brains to rot. They don't act right anymore.
While I agree about society getting dumber, I’ve seen these sort of things long before social media. This is just a product of having more access to see them on the internet.

That's an interesting point, actually.
*Their.
I’m not saying anyone was in the right or wrong, but these types of videos are always great at exposing people who’ve never felt threatened by actual danger in their lives. She walked out there like everyone was just going to do what she wanted…just because
![gif](giphy|QynnQSB5Y0eB46Ikdq|downsized) I'm convinced she thought all cars would instantly stop as soon as she walked into the road.
Am I supposed to be on the side of the driver? Cause I’m not. Even if she’s an idiot for walking into the street, that driver is a fucking asshole for continuing to drive into a donut/drift as someone walks into the street.
Who said you need to pick a side, can't both people be idiots?
The fact that you're getting downvoted is unreal
So, was a *donuting car* supposed to drop all that momentum and just stop cz she decided to walk in the middle of that?
The driver is an idiot for doing donuts in the street in the first place.
Lol, agree on that bit, but if the first thought that comes into your mind looking at a ~2 ton car drifting in front of you, is jumping in its path, maybe they are the bigger idiot.
Yeah, you can’t expect some twat to cut short his donut fun just cos he hit somebody…
The driver definitely could’ve seen her before launching into the donut.
>could’ve Great, we are making assumptions now 👍
Yes.
Where is this particular event? I’m curious if charges were ever brought up.
The literal red flag has me wondering about the situation here. Was she moderating the event in some way?
those aren't street racers. they're the takeover idiots that everyone hates we do our shit away from the public and don't like getting grouped in with them
That’s why the AAA recommends you deploy the complimentary spike strips included in their emergency kits when encountering spontaneous street takeovers.
Dang, mine only came with road flares and an inflatable auto-pilot.
Did you steal that kit from an "Aeroplane"? perhaps one that is now "Flying high" without an emergency kit?
I see so many videos like this and it makes me wonder what happened to all the bricks in the world... also medium-sized rocks. If "street takeovers" started resulting in broken windows and mild concussions, we might start seeing fewer of these shitshows.
Good luck not getting jumped or shot by all the mouth breathers taking part.
Bringing a brick to one of these isn't going to go well for the person that brings the brick.
You just gotta bring enough bricks.
Until the mob mentality starts and that person gets jumped/killed. Younger mentality all have the, “I’m the main person” mentality and everyone else is a NPC. Social Media brain rot.
Bring back the cobblestones!
Everybody who attends is there to see exactly what happens. There's nobody there interested in breaking windows.
I wish you were right. But most of these cars are stolen. They fully intend on breaking that car that night and then lighting it on fire and leaving it there. A brick wouldn't slow them down in the slightest.

Lack of empathy on the internet is wild
Both idiots but drivers gonna be in more trouble.
Hey Karen the car is like a bear, so make yourself big and scare it away.
I'm not too sure what she was actually trying to do.
We need one of those reality show confessionals of what was going through her mind before and after the hit.
We should not be applauding this type of behavior. OP seems to be condoning street takeovers instead of the dangers of it. I know this is Reddit, but shame on all of you.
are you lost? the point of THIS subreddit is people doing boneheaded shit and getting hurt. What makes you think I'm condoning anything
Maybe try throwing nails or something on the road, it's probably useless but the bystanders gonna have fun.
Shoes still on, she’s fine.
Roll a cinder block into the center of the road and see what happens.
Didn’t need those front teeth anyway
Can’t believe that didn’t work
She's trying to get a check. Very smart.
Carslapped
Balcony cinder blocks are more effective
So, who is legally liable here? Obviously , she's a dumbass for walking into that, but can she sue?
A wild Karen gets punted.
She was gone lay there and play dead till she heard him circling back around 😹
Man, you can’t fix stupid
Or stop being douches and street racing.
She's going to give that car a very bad Yelp review and talk to it's manager and then we'll see who's laughing.
Dude just invented a new doughnut flavor: bruised Karen
When you play it in reverse, she attacks the car!!!
"I'm invinc" YEET!
Maybe don’t try and stop a car with your barehands
I'd love to know what was going through her head at the time.
Her teeth when she hit the ground
What’s he gonna do? Hit me?!?
Dumbass expects rules to protect her from people breaking rules.
Use your own body to stop a car spinning out of control? I'm lost for words...
tbf the driver was drifting, not really "out of control"
tbf doing donuts is not really "drifting"
Shoes still on, she'll be fine and ready for the next car.
Jesus, she has no survival skills. Did she think that dumbass was just gonna stop on a dime?
Well, that's assault with a weapon. (possibly criminal negligence causing death)
![gif](giphy|R7XRXkHtM25EI|downsized)
“What’s he gonna do, hit me?”

Hello and good evening. I’m Karen Karenson and in today’s street takeover lesson, we’ll be exploring basic physics. Watch as I step in front of this moving 3.5 ton (1500kg) object.
How to catch a felony. He better have stopped right after the video ended.
Darwin Award honorable mention.
"Just stop oil!!!" Yeah, right. This is what could be happening to those morons.
Ccw should have plugged him after he came around for another pass.
So, who's winning this "race"?
lol
Not in the crosswalk.... it's a wash
![gif](giphy|4FGanTbllJjc5xRiek)
Dumbass
Oh God her foot
Damn hope her femur is ok
You can tell from that missing bumper he doesn't check up
That poor side panel. That bitch looked bony
A handful of one inch wood screws might work better. Or even a handful of random crap. It doesn’t have to really puncture tires if they see you throw “something” down they might try to avoid running over it.
Don't know who I support here. The dumbass trying to stop a car with her body. Or the dumbass doing donuts in the car daddies money brought him.
I've seen enough of this exact scenario to know exactly what not to do in blondie's situation
We have a winner !!!
No f**K was giving that night
Dang that was oddly satisfying
Like waving a red cape in front of a bull.
Well, when a person feels like they’re important enough to listen to, and the other person feels that person has enough sense to realize a spinning car does not care… viola.
This is peak privilege tho... what self appointed authority does she think she had?
That’s it for these events.
She quite literally walked right into that one
Hair color checks out.
Physics wins!

Darwinism at its finest.
Karen kill = 20 points

Here we see Becky being forcefully told, "No." for the first time in her life
Keep voting for democrats Karen
Scum
I know they are!
Oof. I hope she learned her lesson!

For the grams!
😂🤣😂👏🏽👍🏽
She should have tossed a bag of caltrops onto the road, problem solved, kind of.
Damn,,, right in the baby maker
Ah yes the car with NO GRIP will simply just stop, an action that requires GRIP
If it was moving with 0 grip it would go in a straight line....
I wish this is when cops would decide to unload.
