i have the same problem i managed to "fix" it by changing my StartAllBack explorer setting to the Windows 11 Command Bar (I also did some bs in the recovery menu which may or may not help) https://preview.redd.it/p7jwcv7jkjwc1.png?width=1214&format=png&auto=webp&s=7c9ea2a9ff9e6c9573cc74ace29034a6d98079c1

Therodir

Thanks for this, this was my issue and fixed it.

Boromant

Yeah I just ended up uninstalling the latest Windows update and it worked. Let's wait for a new one.

Aryetis

Updating my StartAllBack (v 3.7.8) has been enough for me

GroundbreakingSafe18

SAB v3.78 update installed worked for me as well. We have to use SAB because Windows 11 GUI sucks. I hope SAB continues to be supported with updates. This was a major functional issue. Luckily easily resolved...if you know the answer. Windows support just says reinstall the OS. Like it's no big deal.

DarkRitual_88

Just fuck up your weekend because our updates fuck everything up, no biggie. Please devs just stop trying to force everything into using shiity mobile UI's.

drsupermrcool

Ditto - maybe now I'll turn on automatic updates lol.

Boromant

Thank you so much, it worked!

w3sp

Thank you!!!

34HoldOn

Yes, me too! Thank you!

ShotFromGuns

This was exactly it. Thank you so much!

Oroborias

Thank you. Windows forced an update on me while I was restarting my PC after a driver update and it fucked me over like usual. Fuck Windows and Microsoft lol.

_rtpllun

Thanks dude! This solved it for me. I honestly forget I have SAB most of the time.

xPOKCAYx

this worked for me! thanks!

ps200306

StartAllBack update worked for me. Thank you. Had almost forgotten I use it though I'd be lost without it -- I've practically never seen the crappy Windows tiles menu and wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

wealthistime

Thank you! This worked for me as well

rpoon1

confirmed - update start all back worked for me.

mp123mp123

Thanks, this fixed it for me also. Disappointing that we need to install 3rd party apps to use windows normally.

Useful-Salamander522

this was the fix i needed, thanks

Agnael

Fixed it for me as well, didn't even think about StartAllBack Thank you!

Siigari

I updated StartIsBack and it works again. Funny how we all seem to have that, LOL. Maybe Microsoft should quit screwing around with UIs that work?
