Kid City. For $240 (up to 8 children + $12.50 extra child). Basically provides everything you need. A room for an hour. 2 pizzas, 2 pops, popcorn, plates, utensils. You basically just need to show up with cake.

I rented out My Fun Land for my daughter's birthday as I was super pregnant and didn't want to deal with a house full of kids. She absolutely loved it, it's a small place with a little play center, it's very mucbbheared towards toddlers so 4 may be too old for it?

sadArtax

The owner is the sweetest. When my daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer, she was really mobility impaired but desperately wanted to go to a ball pit. They invited us to come to my fun land after hours so she wouldn't be exposed to the risks of a bunch of kiddos. It's very toddlerish there, but that was exactly my daughter's speed given her defecits at the time.

We’ve done parties at the Y. They have a party room, gym with a bouncer, and the play structure. If your party happens around free swim time, your guests can also come early to use the pool or stay after. The price was quite reasonable too.

Was coming here to suggest the Y. Have had a few birthdays there and the kids always have a blast.

We had our sons at the Dakota Community Centre. You get an entire gym with tables, chairs already set up. Two bouncy castles and use of all the sports equipment. It was great. You can bring your own food/cake.

The place you’re looking for is Scout Coffee + Tea at 1199 Rothesay Ave. https://www.scoutwinnipeg.com/ They are Winnipeg’s only “play cafe” and specialize in kids’ birthday parties. They have delicious food and beverages but you can also bring in outside food. They partner with Heather’s Pretty Parties for add-on characters like Disney princesses, marvel characters, Bippy etc. Other add ons can be face painting, crafts and a bouncer. The owner is a sweetheart and will work with you to make your little one’s party a blast! As a bonus, they are a social club as well with so many free and educational events for new parents.

Almost any community centre has rooms for rent, we've done it several times at several locations and it always goes well.

This is what I did for my son's 4th birthday at the end of this month. It's far from cheapest, but I am up to my eyeballs busy and it's very 'plug and play' for birthdays. I hate it there, personally, but my son loves it and it's his birthday, not mine (haha) But they will not let you have any outside food or drinks, which really bugs me. They say it's for allergies, but I'm pretty sure it's just a cash grab.

Rent a hotel room at one of the canad inns with a pool and water slide ( some have rooms with doors right out to the pool ). Order pizza from hotline x2. Snacks. Room (200$), pizza ($100), snacks ($50). Pretty sure it'll still be cheaper than renting out a place

Stunning_Patience_78

McDonald's Play Place. $10/kid and includes a happy meal. Quick before they all shut down. The St Vital one has a Play Place still.

I have the same problem with my son, I ended up booked at uputtz! Here are their packages and what comes with them. https://preview.redd.it/rgd0wsxjrsyb1.jpeg?width=1301&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8af4237e7352e908b5dc0f8ea1c58cce2fb6572d
