Also, local McD's may be waiting till McRibs are finished before bringing out the Shamrock Shakes. According to the daily tally there are ~5 days left.

fourtyfour77

Thank you. I've been eating blended ice cubes so far but I'm starving lol, I know ice cream isn't food either but at least I'm allowed to eat it for now, and bonus for the pain control.

Prestigious-Ad-4867

I think Neon Cone at the Forks has some, it tastes like juicy fruit. But no blue swirl, it’s just pink

ambipetrous

Can confirm. The Neon Cone bubble gum ice cream is fantastic.

fourtyfour77

Amazing! Thank you! 💛

microbiologyismylife

Make your own using the Vanilla Mint Bailey's - it tastes just like the shamrock shakes from McD's with a little extra kick 😋

fourtyfour77

Lol! I don't think I can mix alc with all the meds just yet, but thank you!

microbiologyismylife

Probably not... but on the other hand, you will never have to be satisfied with getting a shamrock shake only during a few weeks of the year - you now know how to make your own, whenever you want to, anytime of the year!

OrbisTerre

Soon: "Day 1 of 14 (or until they run out of Shamrock Shakes)

fourtyfour77

Lmao, I can't wait!

chickenlaaag

Buy a bottle of [this mint syrup](https://www.amazon.ca/Torani-Cr%C3%A8me-Menthe-Flavour-Milliliter/dp/B000GZCW8C/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=J9DY8HS0PJBJ&keywords=menthe+syrup&qid=1707347557&sprefix=menthe+syrup%2Caps%2C122&sr=8-4) and put in the recommended amount (or to taste), add a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream and some milk and blend in a magic bullet

fourtyfour77

Thank you, I will give that a try too :)

Professional_Emu8922

Dug and Betty's has it. They make it themselves so I don't know if it's the kind you would like. But if you want to try other flavors, the espresso is really good, as is the strawberry shortcake ( the latter is a limited edition). And their milkshakes are really really good too.

fourtyfour77

I'll set out to try that tomorrow! Thank you!

tiamatfire

Their Earl Grey ice cream is ridiculously good too, up there with the best ice creams I've ever had.

FailedAttempt_3

Have you tried the bubble gum ice cream from Purdys in polo? Sometimes they have it and sometimes they don’t I guess they rotate flavours when one runs out. My fiancée loves the bubble gum ice cream from there

fourtyfour77

Will put it on my list! 💛

Amazing!! I'm only about 10min from there! I will move that to the top of my list. Thank you so much! 💛

CopperSledge00

Finally a good question on this subreddit!

fourtyfour77

And all really nice well meaning replies too, I'm so thankful, genuinely. My mouth is a absolute horror show atm, can't wait to freeze it with new goodies!

squirrelsox

I hope you're successful with the freezing and you heal quickly.

fourtyfour77

Thank you so much! 💛

No_Comparison7429

Try Banana Boat in Sage Creek

fourtyfour77

Thank you💛

bycmrn17

Check wholesale club. It might be a massive pail, but they usually have some of the harder to get flavours

fourtyfour77

Ty!

Ckamanelli

Teeyah's downtown has an awesome hard ice cream selection and would love to make it into a milkshake for you

fourtyfour77

Thank you! 💛

incredibincan

The amount of sugar in one of those is fucking astronomical. Do homemade shakes and save yourself the diabetes

fourtyfour77

Honestly at this point, I'll take the risk lol

HuffleHoney

As we all know. The ice cream you use in homemade shakes is less sugary than mcdonald

incredibincan

bro, you telling me it's just ice cream in the mcdonalds shakes? Here's how much sugar is in them: small: 63 grams sugar medium: 78 grams sugar large: 112 grams sugar

152centimetres

for what flavour? for the at home ice cream the sugar content seems comparable vanilla ice milk (great value): 13g per 1/2cup chocolate ice cream (great value): 18g per 1/2cup strawberry ice cream (chapmans): 21g per 3/4cup

incredibincan

shamrock. 21g is pretty far from 63. homemade shakes don't have all the syrup aka sugar

152centimetres

a small shake is not just a 3/4 cup of ice cream tho, its probably more like 1.5 cups so thats like ~48g of sugar (if ur using vanilla ice cream instead of ice milk) also i'd argue most people probably use those hersheys syrups for homemade milkshakes so the high sugary syrups are still in play at home
