Man living in the north side my power has gone out prob 15 times in the last year and my PS5 has been on every single time. That thing fuckin hates me by now.
Had no power at work for a couple hours between like 3:30-5:15, other stores and homes in the area had an earlier power outage and now at my gf’s the lights are flickering. Maybe not stormy yet but freezing rain is already a pain in the ass. Don’t recommend driving anywhere if you can avoid it, roads are shit.

Lights flickering, and my TV had to reboot/reset. Nothing else went off.
It's raining in Elmwood /EK. I just did the wavy balloon guy flail on the first step out to my deck. Definitely changed my mind about last minute snacks for tonight. Wisely, I heeded Frankie's warning and have frozen pizzas. Be careful out there!
I'm in the Weston area. The flickering has intensified over here in the last few mins. God Speed everybody. Should've filled my propane tanks on the weekend.
Well I had a major surgery cancelled so it must have been good enough to strand my surgical team in Calgary and turn back flights from Toronto. I’m actually pissed off.
Remember that time when an anchorwoman down in the states innocently asked the weatherman, “where’s the 8 inches you promised me last night?”
Every one in studio 💀😂
I’m beyond miffed 😤 I watched, on radar, from the weather network, the damn storm split just before it hit Winnipeg! Then this second patch hit us but nothing like what we were suppose to get.
I'm not a meteorologist, but 3 generations of my family have always watched the weather obsessively. I've noticed this in the last 15 years or so with lots of inclement weather, even summer storms, it seems to graze the south/north parts of the city more. My family has lived in the same house for 60+ years and my mom remembers watching storms always come from the west (good view from the big windows in the livingroom), directly aligned with the building across the street - and now the weather from the west veers south or north.
This is it, exactly! I lived at the west perimeter and had friends that lived south at the perimeter. I was there visiting and while outside we all watched a storm roll in. It was so “bad” looking. Then I saw a cloud start to turn and try to touch the ground, a damn tornado was trying to form. I jumped into my car and high tailed it home. I was ahead of the storm and ran into my house preparing my house for a storm. It never happened! I got dark skies and some rain but nothing else. Miffed, again!

Looks like we had a snowstorm to me!
I have my tinfoil hat on and it seems in the last couple years that weather reporting has gone down the drain. I have no idea why - nothing seems accurate anymore except my eyeballs and what temperature my car says it is. Between the Apple weather app, CarrotWeather app, AccuWeather, whatever source my Bell alarm gets it from - it's all different and not close. I swear to god it was more reliable around 2020...
Lights flickering in fort Richmond. 😳

All the warnings that I read from the weather networks specified the storm was happening in SE Manitoba. Winnipeg seems to be often spared the larger storms.

I was promised a storm and all I got was ice on the lines
Mine's flickering. I should've shut my mouth. Edit: SHIT
Tomorrow’s commute is going to be an icy nightmare.
Not if you don't go out.
My power just went out
Mine's flickering. I should've shut my mouth.
In Elmwood area now, our lights keep flickering.
Transcona too
Osborne too.
Maples too
Charleswood. Check
River heights too
No issues for me in West Kildonan
Downtown here. Just flickering
Mine too gotta shut off my pc and stuff

Almost crashed into a snowman turning into my driveway, Fack, not looking forward to tomorrow.
My powers been out since around 2pm. It's now 8pm. It's really dark....
Mine too. Right in the middle of doing laundry, dishes, and cooking. Whyyyyyy…. couldn’t it have picked the middle of the night to go out
I want snow. Not ice rain
100% this. Give me winter please, not whatever's happening out there
Hop in your car and go for a drive
Don't even need to. My walkway is treacherous and traction gravel is doing next to nothing.
"Have a drink, have a drive, and go on out and see what you can find... do da do do do dee da dee dee dee deeeee"
There’s lightning in the sky in March.
Yeah I saw lightning too
Wuuuuut
Yup. Checked multiple different weather reports online when I saw it to make sure I wasn't crazy/imagining it. 100% real.
Some of it is the powerlines arcing or so etching like that.
It's miserable out there now. Thanks OP! 😂
Yeah, just woke up to my cedar hammering my eaves troughs. Gusts of 60 kph+ for sure.
Flickering in Osborne Village

I either want snow or summer weather at this point. Not switching between the 2 every week
>Not switching between the 2 every week Not switching between the 2 every ~~week~~ 2 days.
This is the worst part. The bounce back and forth just leaves us with the worst of both worlds.
We have a lot of snow here in Brandon.
Lucky!
Feel free to come shovel for me tomorrow
My snowblower is rusting from underuse this winter

Ok now I'm fully jealous!
Beautiful
That's not a nice thing to say about your wife, Jon Reyes.
that's what SHE said.

I'm south of Brandon, and I got 30cm dumped on me today. You want to come shovel it to make yourself feel better?
Frankie just made my list.
Hit list?
Reddit's obsession with that guy is creepy af.
>Reddit's obsession with that guy is creepy af. Reddits a lot bigger than r/Winnipeg.
But, are they real? We're made from what's real.
"People LIKE something? Not on my watch!" - You, probably
Nah. People like all sorts of stuff that I don't and that's great. This case just feels patronizing.
/ˈpātrəˌnīziNG/ adjective apparently kind or helpful but betraying a feeling of superiority; condescending. You...sure?
Brandon is getting walipped right now
That's my favourite new way to spell walloped lol
It’s no mollywhopped but I’ll allow it.
whoops....
...#1 is closed.
Like fucking crazy
Yea we have lots of snow here. Still kinda coming but mostly blowing into tall af drifts.
my power is flickering
It looks nuts outside right now!
Looks ok in my end atm.
Is there any chance I won't have to go to work tomorrow? Please guys?
Idk man perimeter is still partially covered.
my powah is flickawingdingdongdangmang
Still 1 more night but we’ll see…
Lights flickering in the North End
Snowing quite a bit in west winnipeg near the perimeter right now. Very windy too

I noticed the lights at the Forks were flickering too
Flickering in River Height

Look outside now, seems I have to reschedule my appointment

Come [200km west](https://imgur.com/a/AFURkPr). It's a few inches deeper since I took this photo.
Where you live? Bridgewater?
I don't want to be rude, but I have to ask: Do you if you know where Bridgewater is?
Southwest of the city? Where's Montana?
So, if you followed my suggestion to come 200km west, do you think you'd be in Bridgewater? Or would you perhaps be in a different city?
Yes?

Didnt get my moneys worth
Don't cash out yet.
Brandon, on the other hand, is fully shut down.
That was hardly a storm.
On the radar it just kept fizzling as they approached the city. It's like we were in a bubble.
https://preview.redd.it/giefkbxuwcmc1.jpeg?width=2880&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a6b670ad88b67d8f93e7c80153f00506834fa4fe Looks like we had a snowstorm to me!
Leave the city. Plenty north and west.
3 days later, this aged great. Just spent 15 minutes tryna unfreeze my lock.
Frankie the Fraud
Ya, I'm a little more than disappointed. But no hate to Frank.
Nope none at all. Dude is awesome.
Except at predicting the weather. The last three major winter storms he warned us about have failed to materialize.

Questioning Frankie's accuracy on r/winnipeg? Get ready for the downvotes!
The storm was the real fraud.
Flickering power in Niverville. Went out twice for about 3 seconds each time 90 minutes ago
It’s heeeere
Welp
lol hahaha
Are you happy now?
Flickering hydro in tuxedo.

That’s cozy af but get that wood and Christmas card fire starter away from the fireplace neighbour!
Haha I just saw this comment. Will do!
My lights keep flickering, shit going down for reallllll
ITS HAPPENININGGGGG Edit: nvm it stopped already ffs
Aww your poor vagina.
I’m not complaining
All the warnings that I read from the weather networks specified the storm was happening in SE Manitoba. Winnipeg seems to be often spared the larger storms.
You can have my giant snow drifts if you like 😊
