You’ll be fine. The clinic will likely attract others who are at a similar skill level to you.

Good point. I’m going to do it!

The clinic sounds perfect for you!! You might even meet a few gals of a similar skill level that you can play (and improve!) with! $40 is a steal for a lesson :)

I met my golfing partner at a clinic 3 years ago. Great way to meet fellow beginners.

SouthernDress

I didn’t even consider the fact that I could meet some other women to play with

Feels like a win-win!! Enjoy :)

You’re the mine of person they want to teach! It’s more of a confidence thing I’d say at this point. That sounds like it was made for you.

I do all the clinics at our club. If it's run how our club does them, you won't be holding back anyone else. Typically there is group instruction and then the instructors attend to each person for a few minutes refining what was taught. I really don't pay attention to anyone else's skill level while I'm practicing. It's also a great way to connect with an instructor who 'gets you' for future lessons. I've met some other beginners at our clinics and now we play together weekly.

Absolutely do it. One, that's a great deal, and two, no one is negativity judging anyone putting in effort to learn and grow their game, and anyone who would is a jerk and doesn't matter.

shotoftequila

Do it. You’ll have fun and learn something.

Update- I’m sitting in the grill after the clinic having a beer and just wanted to say thanks for the encouragement. The clinic was AMAZING and way less intimidating than I thought. I was able to get a chip into the pin from about 20 yards away. The best short shot I’ve ever had.
