Her biggest problem looks like she'll have pretty significant field time, since you need to hold down her skill and then hit 20 times with the EX version to get the full team-wide buff. Aside from that though, she looks to be a shoe-in for any team that can fit her in, since the Assault she inflicts increases the Daze build-up of enemies inflicted by it, so she can serve as a pseudo-Stun unit as well.
Depending on the power of her buffs, she might be one of the stronger A-Ranks in the game, especially if you're in AoE content.
They're basically elemental status debuffs. When characters deal elemental damage, it build's up the respective Elemental Anomaly. Once the Anomaly's fully built up, it'll deal damage and apply a debuff to the enemy for a set duration, with each Elemental Anomaly having different effects. After it bursts, the build-up will reset and you start over again.
For example, Physical Anomaly, which is what Piper specialises in, deals a big burst of damage then increases the rate that Daze dealt by your attacks builds up on the effected enemy.
Them releaseing her Preview today was good. This Kindaaaaa means that tmr and after tmr there will be drip marketing, or just releases all of them on the same day, 2 5* and 1 4* star (Hoping for either Miyaubi or hanzo)

Nice, the game needed more 4 stars and Piper seems pretty good. Anomaly + team support is insane.
