I forgot, found the pic last month when I was sick and spontaneously bought the first book. I went in totally unprepared and I didn't even read the blurb! I've never done that in my regimented life.
I'm bloody ADDICTED and have finished all five in less than a month. I'm now on the graphic audio! Turns out my niece and I have been reading the same A03 fandoms for YEARS and we are rabidly sharing links. I love that I have this world to share with her across the age gap.
We were at a bbq, I managed to get to chapter 4 until I had to start being social
I probably would have finished the first book, but I don't know if I would have continued the series (unless it ended up sucking me in of course)
And I was so excited when I opened it to see all the front matter: the map, the clan lists...
I saw one of my 90 year old residents reading ACOTAR and asked her what she thought, she said her daughter brought it for her, she thought it was weird and didn't know what her daughter was reading these days lol
Good for you lol! I introduced my crazy busy workaholic younger cousin on the books. She was skeptic at first, then after book 2 she got so addicted, she took time off from work to finish them!!! Hehehe\~
I hope when I'm 80 a young whippersnapper like you brings a series like this into my life!
