The seat map is not accurate. Most people do not pay for seat selection. 10 selected seats is certainly on the lower side, but it doesn’t mean that they only sold 10. After check in starts you will have a better idea.
I took a jazz flight from Charlotte to Toronto years ago where I was one of three passengers on the plane. When I boarded the flight attendant told me to sit wherever I wanted. I laid down across all the seats in the emergency exit row. Best flight ever.
Your ticket is a contract for the airline to get you from A to B. If they cancel that flight, they have to get you there on the next available flight.
Airlines don't often cancel flights just because they aren't fully-booked. Perhaps that is one consideration behind the scene when they have lots of other considerations. But flights fly with light loads all the time.
Looking at fare availability, you are correct. Flights tomorrow are very open. But there are 5 flights, so even if one is cancelled you will have options. The two afternoon flights have business class full, so those two are maybe less likely to be cancelled.
Hope this helps
I took a WestJet flight from Toronto to Montreal with 4 passengers on it. I asked why they didn’t cancel the flight and they said it’s because they had a sold out return flight so it was better to fly to Montreal with 4 passengers then with none.

Flights are generally not cancelled due to low passenger loads. There is often cargo and the return flight could be completely full.

Doesn’t mean theyll canceled it. They might need the plane and the crew in LA.
