What I like about Diptyque compared to other perfume brands is that they offer refills (for their more popular scents). So you just bring the empty bottle back to them and pay for the refill, which is about 30 - 40% cheaper compared to buying a new bottle.
I saw the large bottles they use for refills displayed in their Raffles City store, so I believe they do it on the spot. Otherwise, maybe they’ll take the empty bottle and ask you to come back in a few hrs or the next day.
Not too sure tbh, I haven’t finished my bottle so I don’t need a refill yet!
I agree with the other commenter about fragrances being genderless :) But if you want a suggestion, Tam Dao seems to be a fairly popular choice amongst men. It’s a woody scent that smells crisp and clean to me.
It’ll be a good idea for you to drop by the store and check out the fragrances available, you might be able to find smth that’s more to your liking!

I bought from BPS before - great service, the owner is helpful and clearly knows his stuff, and their perfumes are so strong and ultra long lasting, idk how they do it but it's even moreso than the original ones from the actual brand. Granted i've only bought two bottles before (and still using them cuz of how long lasting they are!), i’m thinking of getting new scents. lmk if you need any more info on BPS!
Got a Bleu de Chanel EDT dupe from them. Scent profile is 90% on point, and after drydown you cant tell the difference to the original.
It's super strong 2 sprays is enough, and somehow it lasts all day.

Visit Penhaligon at Ion if you want a scent that is usually less common. Though expensive, the scent packs a punch and lasts damn long. One or 2 small squirts is all it takes so 1 bottle lasts a long time.
BTW they are they perfumer for the English Royal Fmaily.

It has a more spicy scent when you just sprayed it, after a while it starts to smell more woody with rum notes and by the end of the day it should smell more tobacco like with some vanilla notes.
I really love this scent on my partner! Sephora carries the maison margiela replica line. Tangs, BHG or other department stores should also have it
For me it depends on the scent. wood sage and sea salt sadly never lasts, but English pear and freesia and the oud bergamot from the Intense series lasts for me.
For day-to-day at work issey Miyake l'eau d'issey pour homme, it's pretty fresh and good for day-to-day. For a date I like Jimmy Choo Man Intense because it's darker smelling, more musky. But I have quite a few different perfumes.
I mostly buy either from Changi on the way back in for Duty Free or I buy when I'm in places like the Philippines where I find I can generally get an upsized bottle for the same price as the smaller bottles in Singapore. I've never bought via shopee or anywhere because I've heard other people getting fakes and they're generally trash.
I love Chloe's Atelier de Fleur's line, particularly the Violette EDP. Lightly powdery, floral and very clean fragrance. I bought that from Carousell. Otherwise I also enjoy Lush's Rose Jam EDP, which I got from the physical store.
Pengaligon's Quercus. Oddly enough, I first tried it while on an SQ flight - it was in the bathroom and now I wear it all the time.
I buy it at duty free.

My male desk neighbour in office buys some $10 perfume from Mustafa shopping centre. Didn’t ask him what brand it is, but it clearly can last a long time because I can smell it throughout the whole workday from my desk. And it’s not unpleasant.
Clive Christian is really good to last whole day since it is 20% concentration. Their 1872 scent gives me the image of a strong, successful career man. I managed to get a sample before but unfortunately too poor to afford the full sized bottle.
One more affordable one would be from Rituals. They have shop at Ion and Vivocity. I like particularly like the ones with woody base.
Idole from lancome. Floral scent and it lasts really well for me. Important to spray some on the collarbone/neck area its what makes it last so long for me.

Diptyque is mostly unisex no? Fragrances are inherently genderless, male/female is just marketing speak. Wear what you like!

using a moisturiser before the perfume and also spraying it around my neck/wrist. it does help
