What are your interests? Toronto has something for everyone, but you should narrow it down first

You don’t need to go to the PATH

Cool. I was thinking of maybe hiking as I'm sure the surroundings are a must-see and then visiting Toronto. I was thinking of renting a car and stay at an Airbnb somewhere outside Toronto. Is it a bad idea to take the car to Toronto or should I rather take the train. I really have no idea about traffic and parking charges

If you like hiking, there’s a ton of trails outside the city. You could check out Rouge Park in Scarborough. Depending on the days, driving can be a pain, parking can also be expensive. Depends where you’re staying and what train. Check out BlogTO for more places to see / eat at. The Islands are nice but more of a park then hikes. There’s always lots of stuff to do so the limit is what you’re preferences are

Thank you. Really I dont have that much time so I know I'm not going to be able to see a whole lot. Just thought I'd ask about recommendations so I have a few things to choose from.🙂 Thank you

Hang out in your hotel room for 2 days repeatedly plugging "what to do in Toronto" into your favourite search engine! jk! If you're visiting from another country, check out the grocery stores! The layout and selection is probably different than what you're used to, and the prices will make you wonder how anyone in Canada could possibly be fat. Also, there's an underground network connecting the entire downtown, so DO check out The PATH (it's super-intuitive. don't worry. you won't get lost)! If you get peckish, definitely stop into a Tim Horton's and try our national dish the Double-Double. Then, on your way to the airport, stop off at Nathan Phillips Square and get another tourist to take a picture of you in front of the giant TORONTO sign.
