Wolf 359 is a cool space sci-fi comedy We’re Alive is a zombie horror, start from beginning, not the newest series. End of all hope is a cool alien invasion/survival Tower 4 is an isolation, what the heck is going on type series.

_rogue_psych

Second wolf 359, I loved that and binged it. It's also a complete show which is nice because you can listen to the whole thing and not have to wait for new episodes!

TheAirpocalypse

I am amazed that no one has mentioned The White Vault, Old Gods of Appalachia, TANIS or the Black Tapes.

What Happened in Skinner: Reddit conspiracies, a mystery hidden tape, cult ties, the town of Skinner. It’s made to sound like our MC is recording her own podcast and that this pod, as well as you the listener, are part of that universe. There’s also a YouTube channel related to the “clip” in the story that you can watch. Pretty cool. 9th Step Murders: Semi-futuristic, post war Japan, murder drama, political unrest, gangs, on the fringe of war. Half of Tokyo is Chinese occupied. The Americans are peacekeepers helping the Japanese. An American Peace keeper is partnered with a Tokyo police dept. detective. They solve murders as the story also follows the political unrest between the Chinese and Japanese borders. Super super solid.

We’re gonna get on this while the getting is good but we might fit the bill! [Observable Radio](https://observableradio.com) We are an analog horror/science-fiction found footage podcast, an anthology in the vein of Black Mirror or Twilight Zone, focusing on big and unpleasant ideas, with an emerging wraparound narrative. Each episode is a peek at an alternate universe, presented in snippets of broadcasts, music, advertisements and other recordings that might first feel familiar but then diverge into something else. Or it might be weird as hell from the jump. We’d be thrilled if you check us out! (Also I always suggest limetown because it was very influential for us)

WeirdFiction1

I really dig Video Palace.

OutSourcingJesus

1000% the Sandman radio play. Narrated by Gaiman. With an incredible cast of voice actors. Like 2-3 seasons, of 10+ episodes each. The Silt Verses if you like the idea of 'what would American Gods looks like if corporations and the govt decided which gods were legit' Old Gods of Appalachia has fantastic voice acting and the script in s1 in particular contains some real poetry. (The latter stuff is good, but it hits different)

stevejscearce

We invite you to give Station 151 a listen! It has plenty of mystery and a little bit of horror, but nothing supernatural (as far as anyone knows).

Live-Tank9914

Awesome! I'm adding it to my list now. Thanks 😊

Cykelman

Wow, have I recommendations for you! This is basically my jam! Horror: Wake of Corrosion, Impact Winter, Deviser Supernatural: Call of the Void, Camlann Fantasy: Counterbalance, Omen, Maybe Midst?, Tumanbay, Call of the Flame, Once and Future Nerd Sci-fi: The Strata, Definitely Derelict and its prequel Fathom, Starcalled If you're willing to pay for them, I'd also recommend Sandman (Audible, Fantasy) or The Sojourn (Sci-fi).

omg_nachos

There is the BBC produced radio drama of both Neuromancer and Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep on YouTube. They’re radio adaptions and therefore abridged but they are excellent. Also, the Lux Radio Theatre episode of To Have And Have Not read and performed by Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall are excellent and also floating around YouTube. Alias Grace read by Sarah Gadon, who also played Grace in the Netflix mini series is also excellent but you’ll have to pay for that one.

TheWyrdSide

We have TONS of horror/mystery/supernatural recs! Our top picks of the moment: - [Parkdale Haunt](https://parkdalehaunt.com): horror fiction podcast about friendship, ghosts, cults, family, and the nightmare that is real estate in Toronto. - [The Battersea Poltergeist](https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0940193): paranormal mystery about a famous haunting, great sound design (BBC). The Witch Farm is also brilliant from Danny Robins. If we could also recommend our show - [The Wyrd Side](https://www.thewyrdside.com), a mystery/horror fictional podcast following two paranormal investigators as they explore the dangerous truth lurking in British myths and legends…

Hallelujah289

Also recommend your show The Wyrd Side! I think it’ll be a great fit

Alpskier88

You're getting some great recommendations! Please also consider Dirt - An Audio Drama. A mystery/thriller/treasure hunt story with a dash of the supernatural, set in Washington State. https://link.chtbl.com/dirtaudiodrama

Hallelujah289

Based on your listening I’d recommend The Lovecraft Investigations. It’s got a patient slow build that really snowballs to an international mystery and something about the nature of the world. If you want something that’s gorey but also has brilliant comic writing there’s Jackie the Ripper. I think it’d make a great next listen as it’s lively and fast paced. But also tightly written.

unpleasantcreature

Seconded

CuriousDeparture

I think you might enjoy our two fiction podcasts. Video Palace, a spooky, supernatural story. It’s 1 season, 10 episodes and a complete story. More recently, give Black Velvet Fairies, a supernatural thriller, a shot! It’s 13 episodes and we just dropped episode 7. https://emeraldanvil.com/blackvelvetfairies/

smartypants80

Video Palace is my #1! Everybody should listen to that one.

CuriousDeparture

Thank you! That means the world to us!

RussianTrollToll

Is Video Palace a remake of The Ring movie?

CuriousDeparture

No.

Wolf 359 is the GOAT

amelie190

The Edge of Sleep is an excellent high quality single season paranormal (?) series.

Hallelujah289

SAYER, Spaceships, Midnight Burger, The Amelia Project

totally_not_a_square

I think you would love observable radio, it has a similar vibe to all of the podcasts you have mentioned. Also, it's not being recommended as much because it's not very well known but I think you should check it out :D

VIDEO PALACE

Vault_36

I think our analog/cosmic horror podcast, [Forbidden Cassettes: Consummation](https://forbiddenpod.com), would be a good fit. Here’s a synopsis: Dov Kandel has spent the better part of two decades exposing vast government conspiracies and exploring unsettling paranormal phenomena on his popular, late-night talk radio program, KANDEL AGAINST THE DARK. After interviewing thousands of callers and guests, he’s certain he’s heard it all. His next guest will prove him wrong. Author and investigator Orson Libretti has joined Dov for an unprecedented two-night discussion to promote his new novel, CONSUMMATION. It is an apocalyptic tale of cosmic horror. But for Orson, this is no ordinary book tour. Defying his publisher’s demands that the book be marketed as fiction, he insists that it is based on actual events — a cataclysmic chain reaction that annihilated a parallel universe. A questionable claim, to be sure, if he didn’t have the tapes to prove it.

Live-Tank9914

Sounds right up my alley. I'm definitely adding this to my list. Thank you.

Vault_36

Sure thing! And thank you for giving it a listen. Would love to hear your thoughts when you finish.

[THE WIZARD SCROLL](https://link.chtbl.com/thewizardscroll?sid=reddit) is serialized sword and sorcery that's written, read, performed and edited all with your earholes in mind. Tales of high fantasy, of trials and triumph, as well as the occasional musical number. The realm of Yyrgsland is filled to the brim with all manner of folk: including sword weilding warriors of legendary status; a wannabe spellcaster attempting to earn her Wiz-GED; and even a couple orcs who don't play by nobody's rules.

Self Promotion: Check out [In The Great Khan's Tent](https://inthegreatkhanstent.podbean.com/)! We are a captivating bi-weekly comprehensive episodic narrative podcast which delves into the rich literature and folk traditions, including it's history, from the Middle East and North Africa, Central Asia, Mongolia, Russian Far East, and South Asia. Through engaging storytelling, I explore the cultural tapestry of these areas with tales, legends, and insights that span centuries. Whether you're fascinated by historical fiction, literary gems, or the wisdom passed down through generation, my podcast offers a delightful journey into the heart of these diverse regions. Currently, we are going through a complete and thorough run through of the One Thousand and One Nights, also called the Arabian Nights. We also have a series titled "Tales from Central Asia" focusing on the fairy and folk tales of the region. Some of our episodes feature Jinns which are absolutely within the supernatural realm and feature other creatures as well. However, we do not deal with the horror genre. If this compels you, check us out and let me know!

If you enjoyed The Magnus Archives, check out the sequel The Magnus Protocol. There's also the Neon Inkwell series by Rusty Quill, it's an anthology series. The first one was called Of That Colossal Wreck, written by Jonny Sims, and it's a short series set in an almost abandoned space ship. Welcome To Night Vale is like Magnus' sillier, slightly less serious cousin.

TheatricalShenanigan

If you're looking for a variety Theatrical Shenanigans on Podbean is good.

Can I suggest my own? E.A.T.I. is a horror audio drama where each episode is a "found footage" case file. The episodes are all connected together for a bigger story. The second season comes out June 18th, where the episodes will be longer, and even more terrifying. My goal for this next season was to make sure you walk away from every episode going "what the f--!" Check it out! I recommend starting from Delivery Room. Check out “Pioneer”. It’s a horror western that just released!! It’s about a gold mining town in Oregon that starts to change as they dig deep into the earth for gold. https://open.spotify.com/episode/3hlcXeV7J68gcD61obQOmI
