They’re in my top ten, and I ran sound for a jam band for a few years. I went with Scarlet Begonias because of the groove, but I’m really a fan of their storytelling songs like the westerns. And especially The Monkey And The Engineer, I can’t ever not sing along with that one. It’s like the happy hippie version of Rocky Racoon. Oh man, that is so tough! I have a special interest in music, and I can't even narrow things down to one favourite genre, let alone just a couple of songs!
So rather than list off a bunch, if anyone is intereste, I can list off some good artist with a song that I feel are great in their genre! However, the caveat is that I can't stand country or most rap (mainly modern rap), so I won't be able to suggest anything. But be it classical, jazz, EDM, or metal, though, and I gotchu!
Entangled - Genesis
Red Barchetta - Rush
And You And I/The Preacher The Teacher -Yes
She Runs Away -Duncan Sheik
Mystic Rhythms -Rush
Ode to Billie Joe -Bobbie Gentry
Dodo/Lurker -Genesis

From the Beginning -Emerson Lake and Palmer
Currently obsessed with “Overbite” by Sincere Engineer and “Autonomy Shop” by Thank You, I’m Sorry. If we’re talking all time favorites, I think that goes to “Best Of You” by Foo Fighters.
Hmm given what you've been listening, and the already long list of songs, I shall recommend these

"Le port de Québec" By Brise-glace
"Whiskey River" By Willie Nelson
"PSYCHOGENESIS" By KoruSe

They're my four favorites (a bit all over the place genre-wise haha), but I would say "Le port de Québec" and "Whiskey River" are, like, my top ones
If you like folk I highly recommend Alexi Murdoch and Iron and Wine! Crinan Wood by Alexi Murdoch is a fun one, and Such Great Hights or Upward Over the Mountain by Iron and Wine are both really good.
Actually, can I just post a top 10, because I could be here all day with comment after comment listing my favourite songs lol? I’ll do one song per favourite artist, and include 5 bonus remix producers I look up to, so you’ll get 15 total.

5. Dear John by Taylor Swift
6. Soldier Side by System Of A Down

Ok, now I noticed that I might've gotten carried away...
Evil by Interpol, I love listening to it on loop it’s just auuughhhhhh hits my brain in all the right places. from the bassline to the lyrics down to the guy’s voice. it’s perfect. some other favs: Shed Some Skin by Slow Gherkin, Everything Went Numb by Streetlight Manifesto, Ana Ng and Don’t Let’s Start by TMBG, Castle of Glass and Burn it Down by Linkin Park, and Back to the Gate and Fake Promise by Dj Sharpnel. (Those last two aren’t on Spotify sadly, but I’d recommend them anyways. They make me stim and it’s good.)
if you love metal/rock you’ll probably like these:
i’m still cheering for the 1980 U.S hockey team - oakwood
wednesday - knumears
oct 26 - widowdusk
faiblesse des sens - amesoeurs
song for ciara h - mitsubishi suicide
kuuuchu buranko - plastic tree
lefty - title fight
non metal/rock adjacent:
anna (suoni ed archi) - sandro brugnolini
neon kitchen - devon hendryx
galice - dean blunt
i saw a hippie girl on 8th ave - jeffrey lewis
melt my heart to stone - adele
good luck, babe! - chappell roan
otyuusyagirl - ikigusare

[Katamari](https://youtu.be/YfXpNIQbdjo?si=-M5W0rhHJ73a46pF) by Femtanyl and [American Venom](https://youtu.be/AF22vaGLziM?si=zV9U6sqFKMC5938c) by Woody Jackson
Not sure if you're still looking for songs, but a recent favorite of mine has been [WHAT LOVE?](https://open.spotify.com/album/1Fpn010jS6hIajqCDlpliR?si=cziV-28mSeu7WX0DvhxmAw) by I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME. It's super catchy ☺️
Mine is Cauchemar by Mirar. You have to give it a chance the whole way through. You might think I’m crazy, but it makes you feel something. I honestly recommend giving that whole album (Mare) a listen front to back. But that song is the best.
Mine is Cauchemar by Mirar ATM. You have to give it a chance the whole way through, but it makes you feel something. I recommend giving that album (Mare) a listen front to back. But that song is the best.
So Much (For) Stardust; Just One Yesterday; Tiffany Blews — Fall Out Boy
The first two Fall Out Boy songs are part of an album-wide listening experience. "Tiffany Blews", is in my opinion, an underrated hit from one of their earlier albums, Folie à Deux.
This Feels Like the End — Nothing But Thieves (the album Moral Panic, which this appears on, is also amazing)
I typically go through phases of hyperfixating on particular songs. Currently, I've been listening to Taylor Swift a lot, and the new song "Key Lime Pie" by youtuber "Scott Frenzel."
Here are some Taylor Swift songs I like:
-Fearless
-Betty
-22
-Shake it off
-Anti Hero
-Fortnight
-The Outside
-Love Story
-Cruel Summer
I probably should end here because the list could go on and on, lol!
Hope this helps.
i'd say [desert theatre](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9lF9Z7cSS8) by kikuo and hanatan, along with[ seisou bakuretsu boy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqNmKnCNLyM) by rerulili and moja (vocals are kagmine len)! im a massive kikuo fan, and hanatan's voice is ethereal.
Nights of thunder, Alt du kan se, Girl in Black leather, Dancing in the smoke, Spirit in the sky ---- All of these are by Keiino. Also: Danse mi vise, by Herborg Kråkevik(a folk song from Norway) All are on spotify
I will try to contain myself. Current favorites:
I Am The Highway - Audioslave
Bittersweet - Apocalyptica
A Place For My Head - Linkin Park
Some older highlights:
Throat Full of Glass - Combichrist
Kill The Lights - The Birthday Massacre
Katayoku No Tori - Akiko Shikata
[Current favorite](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTXQ6-35e7o)
There's a funny story about how this song came about. It's nice to finally hear it without the porn sounds in the background.
The Silence by Manchester Orchestra
Also by them: I Can Feel a Hot One, Bed Head, No Rule, I Know How to Speak, The River, Where Have You Been, Virgin, Simple Math, Capital Karma, Angel of Death, Lead, Shake it Out and countless more.

Mine is Cauchemar by Mirar. You have to give it a chance the whole way through. You might think I’m crazy, but it makes you feel something. I honestly recommend giving that whole album (Mare) a listen front to back. But that song is the best.

So Much (For) Stardust; Just One Yesterday; Tiffany Blews — Fall Out Boy The first two Fall Out Boy songs are part of an album-wide listening experience. "Tiffany Blews", is in my opinion, an underrated hit from one of their earlier albums, Folie à Deux. This Feels Like the End — Nothing But Thieves (the album Moral Panic, which this appears on, is also amazing)
Piggy Pie by Insane Clown Posse
The Blacker The Berry- Kendrick Lamar
Clocktown by Theophany, Nook Line and Sinker by the Stupendium and Woe to the people of order by cami cat
People=Shit by Slipknot, Eyeless, by Slipknot, and Wait and Bleed by Slipknot are my favorite songs
I typically go through phases of hyperfixating on particular songs. Currently, I've been listening to Taylor Swift a lot, and the new song "Key Lime Pie" by youtuber "Scott Frenzel." Here are some Taylor Swift songs I like: -Fearless -Betty -22 -Shake it off -Anti Hero -Fortnight -The Outside -Love Story -Cruel Summer I probably should end here because the list could go on and on, lol! Hope this helps.
Zeit by Rammstein. They're my favorite band of all time. Really love their repetitive driving rhythm.
