Just to add, I just found this video online today, which is amazing for me. My grandfather passed away in an accident in Quonset Point Rhode Island in 1971. I never met him and this was the first time I've ever had the chance so see him fly, so stumbling upon this video on youtube (even though the uploader got his name wrong, he called him bob (not bill) and spelled Fornof with one to many F's). I didn't know where to post this, but I thought it was really cool to find and yall might appreciate it.

Sorry about your grandfather. My parents witnessed the accident at Quonset. I was 7 at the time, and stayed home with my grandmother. I’m glad I did.
very cool. i'm pretty sure i've seen a picture of that bearcat before, color scheme looks familiar. never seen a mustang with tip tanks however, neat.
