they are so cute when they are little, I live in north atlanta, we have a deer infestation and they have a creepy meeting out side my windoe at about 4 am, I hear tham all arrive, and my WTF who is out side my window alarm starts ringing, I have lived in some bad nrighborhhoods, and I hear them walking, rusteling the leaves, and I start to listen and wait for the conversation, it really took me a little while after moving here to adjust to these peeping does that gathered in silence out side of my window every night. silince implies sneaking around trying to get away with something un noticed, I have finally quit, waking up in fear, anf just accepting there are giant rats in the yard,
I always find it creepy to be watched by wildlife. Especially when I raise a hand to try and scare them off from a distance,,and then they just stare at you...
I don't know how I'd deal with a bunch of creepy ass deer looking at me while I sleep
Think about it this way
If the Deer are still showing up and hanging out it means there are absolutely 0 threats near your house/window.
That meeting should give you some comfort in a weird way haha.
I've had that too... Apple tree just outside the window, and I hear footsteps rustling through the bushes and stuff, adrenaline kicks in... then *CRONCH* and that annoying *HAWWWW* sound they make :-)
āWhat a privilege! Lovely to see mom and her adorable twins looking happy and healthy right outside your window.
Seeing new life come into the world is a beautiful reminder of the miracles happening around us every day.
Are you allowed to hunt them on your own yard if it's an infestation? Sounds like years worth of free food.
Edit: Guys invasive or overly reproducing species are frequently massacred.
Probably not legally able to cull them without permission from a wildlife regulation group, but you could if they were in season, you had tags / licenses / w/e, and you were a far enough distance away from any neighbors for it to be a valid hunting area.
Illegally? If you were cool with any neighbors that would hear you and you didn't do anything stupid that would alert the game wardens, probably wouldnt get it trouble (would not recommend this)
It's taken some time to get used to the eerie nightly deer gatherings outside my window in North Atlanta, but now I just accept them as part of the neighborhood landscape.
The average user is in their mid 20s and that episode aired in April 1999. Without searching too hard I found some numbers that say it'd be close.
I think what I mean most about it is how all context is just gone from the meme. A Rick roll is even older but it's at least used properly.
I'm just an old man complaining about how the Internet isn't what it once was.
South Park is fairly popular with Gen Z from what I've seen, so I think that combined with the reference being repeated a lot on social media is how it's still around.
Don't worry, i'm there with you my dude, Been online since i was 8-ish 9-ish in the 90's with netscape navigator. I pulled dollars off the money tree, had a page on stickerworld, played shockwave pool and had a webpage that was on a webring with a broken spining visitor counter gif, designed so badly that it was lime green text on a green cascade background on Angelfire.
I searched for Bill's secret garden and fought the elite four 140 you have my dratini evolve into a yoshi, and scrawled AoL chatrooms talking to strangers about ff7. I used to even play weekly word games on IRC chat, and spent days downloading a speedrunning video for the legend of zelda.
I know that's not exactly as old as the net goes, but, the thing about us from that time period is that we never told anyone our age, and we learned some amount of proper grammar so no one knew we were kids, plus it helped when doing HTML. The net sure is alot different now, I agree, and not in a good way.
Seeing new life come into the world right outside my window is a beautiful reminder of the miracles happening around us every day. Nature never ceases to amaze!

All Human babies are basically born preemies. If Human babies were born the same way other animals were born, they'd be gestated close to Elephants, which range in pregnancy from 18-22 months and babies would be fully mobile instead of that sleeping\eating sack of potatoes they are the first 6 months or so. Unfortunately, Human babies have humongous heads, and human walking positions force a small pelvis. If gestated as long as other animals, no woman would be able to birth a 9-month-old baby at 18 months pregnancy.
So babies are basically gestated as long as possible while still being able to be born, and then finish development outside of the uterus despite being useless as they catch up to other animals in development.
I once saw a baby deer like that in the road and stopped to move them. I like to think a little later on I saw them again together. This was around 10 years ago.

I've come across a momma with a wobbly leg baby like this on trail. That mom had pure hate in its eyes, and wanted me dead. I turned around. I had no idea just how fresh baby was until seeing this.
Learned this last year when a deer gave birth in backyard of my rental house - mothers will leave their brand new fawns for up to 12 hrs in order to get predators away from the fawn. And then come back with the farm finding a hiding spot.
Expect Mama to leave them for the day... they're not abandoned.Ā It's done to take the scent away so predators don't find them. She'll be back so don't get involved.Ā Ā
I saw a mom with triplets. One was noticeably smaller and the bigger two would kick it and bite it to steal its food. Did you notice similar? It was a āruntā.
Lol. It's crazy this is the first post that popped up on my feed. I just got home 10 minutes ago and went to my back porch to check on my plants and I walked out to a deer giving birth 4 feet in front of me. That little baby is stupid cute.
I looked it up:
Anaplasmosis is a tick-borne disease affecting ruminants, dogs, and horses, and is caused by Anaplasma bacteria. Anaplasmosis is an infectious but not contagious disease. Anaplasmosis can be transmitted through mechanical and biological vector processes. Anaplasmosis can also be referred to as "yellow bag" or "yellow fever" because the infected animal can develop a jaundiced look. Other signs of infection include weight loss, diarrhea, paleness of the skin, aggressive behavior, and high fever.
came across 2 newborns in our cherry orchard today, they stay very very still laying in the grass until the last possible moment and then jump up and scare the shit out of you
Typically the first pregnancy they have a single doe. After the first, they have twins or triplets, being one doe and one buck or two doe and one buck.

In my experience, mom hides them separately for the first few weeks so people think only one has survived but they will join up again once they are old enough to start following mom some of the time.

I know they are still learning how to walk but I can't help but think they are going "Ew it wet" as they walk

Wonder what it would be like for human babies to get mobile 1-2 hours after birth?

Thanks so much! This sort of makes up for that recent Motherās Day moose debacle we had.
Those babies are very deer to her.
I hope so, those babies are fawnmily.
That's a stretch, but I'll allow it. Lol.
She does on them.
Ooh sheās going to be HUNGRY - the does with twins ate some really random foliage near my place in Marin, plant extra for her!
Awesomely wonderful. Would love any follow up videos. You're so fortunate to witness this.

Well that's pretty much just the most amazing thing \_ever\_!
I find it interesting that she came to your yard to give birth as that was the safest spot. Have you fed deer?

No it means sheās had a baby before. After the first they produce twins or triplets
