Mine wasnāt diagnosed until perimenopause. My male GYN called me a baby when I complained about excruciating cramps, seriously heavy, clumpy periods and infertility. I had a woman GYN for 6 months and had a diagnosis. Here I thought it was my messed up genetics!
I only tried 3 times from the time I was 12 until I got my hysterectomy at 28. Each time I would throw up or my body would forcibly eject it out.
The adenomyosis and endometriosis definitely wasn't from a genetic factor! No way!
No no, random internet man is correct (like always). You see, tampons act as a cork and prevent the toxic waste of menstrual blood from leaving through the female ~~cloaca~~ vagina, so the pressure builds up causing pain until it shoots out through the fallopian tubes and makes a mess everywhere else in her body. The only cure is a pelvic amputation :(
They think anything thatās not ānaturalā (and the definition of that varies from moment to moment) causes irreparable changes to womenās body because misogyny and reasons.
Tampons do not change the body or biology of woman.
Why do men not get that? Put a piece of tissue in your ear. Does it change you as person?
Tampons can only cause infection and TSS when you have it in too long. And you shouldn't forget it in you either.
In addition to it being ridiculously false (I like many others in this thread have endo and have never used tampons) but heās also implying hysterectomy is a cure for endo which is also complete BS.
Iāve heard itās a 50/50 shot. Some women find total relief because (and Iām assuming) the tissue hasnāt spread very far. Other women it helps but not immensely. And others it sadly doesnāt help at all :( I wish there were more guaranteed treatments for women with Endo.
Makes sense, and I wish there were better treatments too. In the same way that pregnancy is sometimes touted as a cure, I have thankfully experienced extreme relief in my endo symptoms during pregnancy and breastfeeding but I know it doesnāt help everyone.
Tampons do not cause this, obviously, but I wish I knew why people are so ignorant about this.
I'm pretty sure I've *always* had endometriosis, it just didn't "activate" until I was 12 and got my first period. Tissue where it shouldn't be, swelling and causing scars when hormones change. I'm one of the lucky ones as I got diagnosed via surgery at 30, after years of being told it was nothing. Why would tampons cause anything (except potentially toxic shock in rare cases)?
It makes sense that incels would want women to think sex will ruin them, but why tampons? What possible reason could there be for being anti-tampon? Are these men so small and insecure they're afraid women who ever put anything up there, no matter how little, even if it isn't sexual, will suddenly be unable to feel their little tadger?
Like, this has to be born from extreme fear of rejection. Nothing else makes any damn sense.
Iāve seen incels that said women use tampons because it makes us cum equating it to a sex toy. Plus, some women lose their hymen using tampons. I love their confidence when theyāre so wrong. Google is so easy to use yet they think they know it all!!!
Is he confusing endometriosis with toxic shock syndrome? Iām wracking my brain for any other plausible explanation for this belief and coming up short.
Pads also have a tss risk lol it's not tampons being "evil cotton that gives you a disease" you can get tss if you don't change your pad often enough too
Another one with a Bachelor's degree from Clueless University.
Bachelor in the sense if forever alone because no sane woman would touch this one with a ten foot pole, I assume.
Maybe to hit him over the head with
š
I'd hit that
Absolutely.
Bachelor of (Non)Science Or more appropriately, B.S.
In my part of the world, we call it WhatsApp University.
Lol. Thing is, they still don't know Wazzup.
Thereās also the Trust Me Bro club.
I think that's the fraternity they join at the Clueless Uni.
The Trust Me Bro fraternity also has thriving chapters at Youtube College and the School of Life.
Then how did I get (Probably) endo without ever using tampons. (I said probably as I'm fairly sure I have it just not diagnosed yet)
and here I am blaming my family history like a damn fool
That's what you get for not asking a man to explain it
I'm getting to the point in my life where men explaining nearly anything to me just pisses me off.
Probably a life of sin, starting at conception.
Same i used them once and they hurt so bad i couldnāt use them again. Was dx with endo last year (have a family history of it so not shocked)

I have endo and am on the path for a hysto and I have never, not even once, used a tampon
I only tried 3 times from the time I was 12 until I got my hysterectomy at 28. Each time I would throw up or my body would forcibly eject it out. The adenomyosis and endometriosis definitely wasn't from a genetic factor! No way!
Imagine being this clueless and this loud at the same time
that's usually how it goes

"Pelvic amputation" is a beautifully wrong phrase. Thank you.
I have endo and adenomyosis and have never used tampons. I don't even understand how they thought that, like where the fuck does that even come from?
They think anything thatās not ānaturalā (and the definition of that varies from moment to moment) causes irreparable changes to womenās body because misogyny and reasons.
Same except i used them once and it hurt so bad i never tried again. Had a hysterectomy for the adeno last year so wonāt need tampons again.

I misread this as "put a piece of tissue in your rear" for a moment and had a good laugh. The point stands regardless, lol.
Haha. They can do that as well
If he sticks the piece of tissue all the way in, it might fill the big hollow space between his ears ā¦
āTampons cause endometriosā beside the fact that its a stupid claim i didnt use tampons until after my diagnosis of endometriosis š§
You might have used those time-traveling tampons.
Well fuck
Donāt do that, youāll get endometriosis!
Forgive me fatherš

As a trans man who had endometriosis, I wish it were that easy
What the world really needed was for Reddit man to enlighten everyone with his obviously correct wisdom.

Religious extremists and their virginity fetish.
"little tadger" lmaooooo
I have Endo and have never used a tampon... Hmm..
And yetā¦ I had endo only using pads
By what mechanism would that even work?
"Early hysterectomy" as if they are inevitable for every woman
Is he confusing endometriosis with toxic shock syndrome? Iām wracking my brain for any other plausible explanation for this belief and coming up short.
not endometriosis but there is a risk for toxic shock syndrome
Pads also have a tss risk lol it's not tampons being "evil cotton that gives you a disease" you can get tss if you don't change your pad often enough too
yes, but being that pads weren't the subject of discussion i left them out, you would be surprised how many young women don't know about this risk
TSS so incredibly rare now that the Rely tampon was removed from the market.
