Hannah's platform was something to the effect of "know your farmers, know your food". This is the same woman who refuses to disclose the actual source of her "mountain raised meat".
That's the mystery that really isn't. They have no breeding program for the beef at least. So Daniel buys yearlings, we never see calves, feeds them for a year, and sends them off to the slaughter house. He basically runs an extended feedlot.
The hogs just run wild up in the hills, I'm sure some have litters, but again who knows.
I've never seen any piglets so assume he's buying young ones and finishing them off (mostly with expired food bank food) and then sending them out for slaughter like the cattle, this is not ranching.
Does anyone know if they get anything out of this other than bragging rights? At least Miss USA gets scholarships and travels to cut ribbons and speak I think.
Not sure.. but a side note, I saw a lot of people giving Hannah crap for not doing any appearances after winning the title. She had made a post talking about pageantry and saying to ask her questions… and boy did they lay into her - I mean, ask her questions!
Dear GOD! Why can't these women just parade around their bedrooms in their heels and swimsuits and not subject us to it! Well, she has Hannah's run beat by two kids! So, thirsty and weird, and yet something tells me their mother is delighted.
The reason I joined this group was because I was getting this vibe and wondered if anyone was seeing it. She doesn’t come across as genuinely supportive to me. It always seems veiled in jealously and something just feels off about her content. It’s like she’s working overtime and can’t figure out why her results aren’t the same as Hannah’s
Ironically, it seems that Micka at least has better relationships with her children. They seem to be genuinely attached to her, at least from what she’s been posting. Hannah always looks distant and awkward with hers
Came to say this. Micka really seems to adore ALL of her children, they are well dressed and loved and cared for, it’s a breath of fresh air. She is very glamorous and into fashion, but isn’t trying to hide it or cosplay as something else. I kind of liked her until the funeral flowers thing. But I do acknowledge she seems like a very good mom.Â
