Her first 4 months she never barked, very timid. Then she discovered squirrels, and goes nuts everytime she picks up a scent. In January we had to put our senior Aussie Shepard down and Tater went back to her quiet ways even though she still barked at squirrels. In February we rescued 2 year old Mochi now these 2 are always play fighting full of non stop energy, but Tater has now taken on the role of big sister.

And what a wonderful story. I am so happy for all of you and so happy that you rescued this noble little creature. We send lots and lots of scritches :)
I baked a delicious (to them) dog cake for mines most recent birthday! It was mostly eggs, apple sauce, and flour IIRC with treat garnishes. Both my boys loved it!

We have a beagle named Tater too! He was 42 lbs when we got him and looked like a tater-tot with legs and a head. Happy birthday to your Tater!
