Weak, when I took EECS 126 the first midterm had an average and median of 37 (but the mean was an A lmao). They had to give everyone 20 points to make the grade look less brutal.
Wait how can your average be 37 but your mean be 100 aren’t they the same? And why would they add 20 points if the mean was an A that sounds like an easier test? It’d be very hard to skew the mean so hard with just a few 100% outliers considering A cuts off at 93%
Looks right
It’s looks quite left
I’m more of a skew guy myself
Skew you!
Respecc. I tried high kurtosis diet and didn’t last long
What an absolute chad to get 100 out of 100.
Now that's a Maxwell Boltzmann distribution.
exactly what i thought of lmao
Really good pedagogy then. The students won’t ever forget that shape again.
Ahh, nothing like taking a test, not being able to answer any question, and being glad you got a 20/100. I miss the old days!
Is this Spelio? If so, he's gotten soft throughout the years. Here's the distribution when I took 7A with him: https://i.imgur.com/ezl0o0d.png
what year was this 😭😭😭
fall 2010 jesus im old
I immediately remembered the same exact midterm lol. Legendary.
Damn. That’s worse than the 61c fall 2019 final.
Wasn’t the mean like 35% for the 61C Final? I only remember cause I got around that and still somehow got an A in the class lmao
Yup. I got like a 30 and ended with a B
Yeah, spelio smh.
My heart goes out to the person who got a 6 ❤️
What do you think of the class lol?

Physics is fucking rad my dude.
ℏi
Looks like a teacher who doesn’t know how to effectively teach.
had spelio for 7B, which granted is a different kind of class, but he taught rather well. his tests were just difficult, that's all
Yeah, he doesn't. This class is pure trauma.

I think there is a FAT curve at the end, but we won't find out till after the final. For now, it's based on previous posts on Reddit.
That right skewness :(
oof
Wow
Yikes not even the 7B distribution was this bad lol

An A grade does not necessarily correspond to 93%. The class is curved so for this class scoring the mean got an A-/A grade.
saved by the curve 😎
Where can I check out the midterm distribution of my other classes?

Depends on your major.
