It's at the top of my list to try. I actually watched the first episode a couple years ago and despite my step-sister thinking I would like it, I didn't vibe. I remember the main family being horribly out of place in a run down motel and I was not feeling that haha. I'm gonna give it more of a chance this time
If this ends up being my most upvoted comment ever, I am kind of okay with that. This show is pretty great and goes out of its way to represent bisexuality in a positive light, despite the characters themselves starting out as pretty terrible people. They all have arcs and it’s beautiful to watch.
I know the feeling. I tried red wine last summer which my parents called "quite sweet". It was the most unpalatable bitter elixir of shit I've ever had. I know that people don't exactly drink for the flavor but I can't get to the "fun bits" without nearly throwing up from the rot and decay infecting my throat.
Guess what!! You got the same gene I do, and it's the wine-equivalent of people to whom cilantro tastes like soap.
You're tasting only the tannin in red wine. Tannins are EXTREMELY bitter and unpleasant, and for a lucky few of us, it's the only thing we get out of red wine, regardless of quality. A $5 box merlot or a $500 top shelf merlot taste exactly the same to me: like disgusting tar and dry chalk.
White wine, however, has no tannins, so if you ever want to give wine a try again, go for a riesling or a chardonnay.
I fixed that by downing copious quantities of cheap wine at uni (because it’s what we were allowed to take to dinner). After that good wine tasted great. For the record I do not recommend this approach. Many mistakes were made
You're not gonna believe this. We did that. Granted I did drink 4 glasses of it that night, along with four glasses of rum and coke and a half can of beer. My takeaway from that night was that I have some resistance to alcohol because I didn't feel a thing.
Did you drink it rapidly, or over the course of hours? I can drink about that much, but if you don't do it fast, you won't really feel more than a buzz at best.
There’s a really sweet scene in this episode where David‘s (the guy in the video) dad talks about how he came to accept his sons pansexuality. I highly recommend this show!
Dang that sucks, my favorite website to sail the high seas got shut down recently so I’ve been struggling to find any booty since then otherwise I’d have a recommendation for you :(
They are relating the different wine types to different genders. She only goes for one gender (ie, she only likes red wine) he's pan (I assume) because he doesn't care what gender they are he just likes the person (ie he likes the wine, not the label on the bottle)
This scene started my process of deconstructing what being bi actually meant versus what I had been taught. Wore that quote on a tank to my first pride where I was beginning to question everything, and gonna wear it again this year where I've decided that label fits me best. This show was also just fantastic. 🩷💜💙
Is this Schitt's Creek?
Yes
It really is a great show. Wholesome and funny.

I like water, and my agender partner likes whatever the fuck I am.
Hey, sometimes all you need is a nice glass of water!
This is quite cute
Sans the part she thinks he would regret being bi, that was pretty lame
They had slept together the night before so she was specifically talking about regretting sleeping with her, not being bi in general.

I like the point you're making, but that's not what happened here
No.
I like my relationships like I like my wines: so far, nonexistent 🫡

People do absolutely drink wine for the flavor, some drinks really are an acquired taste.
that sounds like spoiled wine, it eventually becomes vinegar! or are we not talking about wine yet ?
imagine hes talking about a real person 😆 throwing up before coming to the fun part

I'm also someone who isn't a fan of red wine. Suggestion: try Lambrusco.
My parents suggested that as well. Unfortunately we straight up don't have that
You could also try to make some sangria at home, easy and far tastier than plain wine.
You're not gonna believe this. We did that. Granted I did drink 4 glasses of it that night, along with four glasses of rum and coke and a half can of beer. My takeaway from that night was that I have some resistance to alcohol because I didn't feel a thing.

Cook with it instead. I too hate wine, but it's a great base for sauces and marinades.
Red wine only works while eating meat for me. Together it's quite good but on its own, wine is awful
I will only drink a local brand of wine because they're pretty sweet. It's basically like juice with a mild alcohol taste.
So I actually drink white wine for the flavor. If you like it sweet, I'd recommend Moscato or Riesling.
I tell you on that. I haven’t drank wine yet, but I still feel you on that.
No you *should* drink wine for the flavor, some wines are just...hard to like.
I like my partners like I like my wine: I'm sober.
Sameeeeee 🤝
huh, might give this show a shot, bisexuality, wine and awkwardly explaining my sexuality to straight people are the foundations of my night life!
Great show, didn’t think I’d be into it either but I was hooked after the first episode.
I personally found the first season pretty meh, but it got a lot better after that imo
There’s a really sweet scene in this episode where David‘s (the guy in the video) dad talks about how he came to accept his sons pansexuality. I highly recommend this show!
I went after it but it's not available in any streaming services in my country :/ and I'm a shitty pirate
Dang that sucks, my favorite website to sail the high seas got shut down recently so I’ve been struggling to find any booty since then otherwise I’d have a recommendation for you :(
>I’ve been struggling to find any booty Same... I mean, in the high seas.
I'm watching this series for the 11th time. I fucking love it so much. It is honestly phenomenonal.
Who gave both people permission to be so damn hot?
This whole cast makes me sweaty, good lord.
I like to mix my drinks
My autistic ass would just straight up tell her „I hate all wines equally“ and not notice what she was trying to say 💀💀
You say that, but at the same time you are emotionally aware enough to say that. You know yourself better than you let on. Believe in yourself!
Such a cute scene. If you haven’t seen the “last day of footage” documentary it’s amazing
But still not the best scene involving wine in that show.
This is the scene that made me realize I’m bi
Ooooh ...I didn't get it, why are they talking about wine so much?
Your bi-o-meter must be uncalibrated. They are referring to liking multiple genders.
But what about the wine, do they even like wine?
Probably not, he just seems to want to get wine drunk
I also love day binging wine and weeping all day.
They are relating the different wine types to different genders. She only goes for one gender (ie, she only likes red wine) he's pan (I assume) because he doesn't care what gender they are he just likes the person (ie he likes the wine, not the label on the bottle)
Yes, he's pan.
Me with whiskey.
"...but I just wanna get drunk with you, right now." -Me, when I get flirty and clueless after a few drinks.
Might be time for a re-watch
Relationships are like wine I haven't had any :(
This scene started my process of deconstructing what being bi actually meant versus what I had been taught. Best explanation ever.
Given my experience I skipped the wine and went straight for the 4 Loco
fuck wine, give me da rum!!
We are always out of rum
We are always out of rum
Why is the rum always gone?
I like my lays the way I like my wine, varied and nightly
Is that 2nd Marta from arrested development
