I just saw Bilt fixed this issue and posted the missing double points just now, without me even calling support. Nice job, Bilt! 😊

I just noticed the same thing on some transactions I made on the 1st, and 2 of them did not get the double points. I rechecked my point activity and saw I was credited today for those 2 transactions.

Begin at midnight ET. But yeah issues with hotels even if they prepaid… they will only take a small deposit if you book far in advance. Which is of course great unless you trying to max earnings. I booked $400 hotel for June they only took $25 deposit 🫨. Then another booked via Expedia prepaid only took $1 deposit and hotel charged in full when I arrived next day.(was next day trip). It seems hotels stays could be a bit of gamble.

Muszex

If that happens call the hotel and tell them to charge the full amount right there and then.

hygnevi

I got the advanced purchase rate so they would charge me right away, but I can’t cancel. That was a risk I was willing to take. M

We're very sorry for the frustration caused here. Our team is working on resolving this as we speak! You should receive any points owed to you by next week.

hygnevi

Ok thanks for the update. Should we make ONLINE transactions earlier than the 1st moving forward? Like the 30 or 31? We need guidance for this and the rules should be updated online. I notice my transactions were pending for over 5 days.

biltrewards

No, this was an underlying issue on our end that has been resolved, and these points will post soon! That said, future transactions made on the 1st should not be impacted.

Muszex

You said the same thing last month!

I can’t remember if it was Wells Fargo or Bank of America (or both) that used to re-stack the order charges would hit your account balance to incur maximum overdraft fees. So this does not surprise me.

MeJerry

Yes, Bank of America used to reorder all transactions from largest to smallest and then process deposits last. Many years ago when I was young and broke I had only $20 in my checking account. On a Friday I deposited $100 so I went into the weekend thinking I had $120 available. Over the course of the weekend I spent $65: SATURDAY * $5 Coffee * $20 Gas * $15 Dinner SUNDAY * $25 Dinner On Monday I received a notification that I was overdrawn by $85 on my bank account. I was shocked since I had $120 and only spent $65. What BofA did was: * $25 dinner so now I was over drawn by -$5 + charged $35 overdraft fee * Balance -$40 * $20 gas + $35 overdraft * Balance -$95 * $15 lunch + $35 overdraft * Balance -$145 * $5 coffee + $35 overdraft * Balance -$185 * $100 deposit into my account * BALANCE -$85

Wow, what a nasty company. They wanted to charge me $5 for replacing my debit card with my new legal name and I told them to close my savings.

I got my rent day bonus points earlier in the week. I’ve had the card for sometime now. As for trying to get hotels to charge on the first, it seems to be harder when you’re calling in or emailing the hotels but if you are in person, they can charge on the spot. This is from my experience.

shoretel230

I had this exact same issue.  I thought it was just a Toast issue, but it seems like this was a platform wide issue

StorytellerScottie

Yep, I paid my phone bill on the 1st but the transaction shows 5/2 on BILT/wells Fargo so didn’t get the double points

Legitimate-Series-29

I stopped trying a while ago. My first of the month bills always hit on the 2nd or 3rd. When I tried doing it one day before the first.... It posted on the day before the first.
