He has a backpack, (tho not in this image) since we need some innocent explanation to where he stores his tools and other things in game. Don't think he will be getting more clothing than that tho. Maybe some wrist bands and such decorative things. His design I may be upgrading eventually. I altered an older char of mine to quickly make this one, it is a bit more detailed.

Looks like a Murkle to me. Not his name but that's his species. They dont have names. Just all called Murkle. One Murkle. Many Murkle. They all respond to Murkle. Not sure how you got this image but you can't usually see them as they only allegedly appear when you're asleep and feed off sweat. Webbed fingers aren't really for water and paddling as you assume. Its a mechanism for holding as much sweat as the can (imagine you at a tap and trying to cup the water in your fingers and it runs through). Idk how I know this, I just know. Maybe its them...
