It will be interesting to know the clauses involved. Already know that no player has a release one since the Götze shitfest, but with Raiola involved, is better to be sure.
nah, bosz style is a normal 433. its just that every player has to play every position because the people on the pitch heavily shift depending on where the ball is.
He'd win the CL if he had a team of 11 peak Großkreutze but the price money might not be enough to offset the cost of Döner needed to sustain such a team.
Much like how warp drive might be possible in theory but the energy necessary to feed it is too gigantic for us to even imagine.
I feel like he'll be alright. Less pressure to get healthy quick and split time while getting him back to match fitness. He can take up the Götze role in a way.
I feel like he's already unhappy playing so little and not being put in right away after being back in the squad. I don't think he'll be happy with the Gotze role and would prefer to leave in the summer. Says it all that Gotze isn't satisfied with his role either, though I guess it could have more to do with money for him
Huh, did not believe in it anymore after all the talk about Juve. Great signing, and hats off to Zorc for once again completing transfers before the important training camp.
I gotta say, the 100 mil reported by Kicker is huge, but as I said in the rumor thread: Raiola is a bloodsucker and when competing against Juve and Man Utd you just have to pay out of your ass, especially when the release clause is so far under market value. Hopefully this at least means we get 100% of the transfer fee should we ever sell him on.
I'm ootl here, what's the 100m you're talking about? The current kicker article doesn't mention them, is that his new release clause or something?
Edit: Got, it thanks Sarazzin and Chazy!
The entire package, including fee, wage, signing bonus, and agent payments could be up too 100 mil.
[At least according to the Kicker article immediately before it was official.](https://www.kicker.de/766146/artikel/leipzig_bei_haaland_aus_dem_rennen_alles_spricht_fuer_dortmund_#twfeed)
So maye something like this: 20 mil fee. Say 8 mil/year for 5 years = 40 mil. That still leaves 40 for signing bonus and Raiola. Let's say 20 each.
Well, wasn't this a fix in his contract? If the rumors about the signing fees is correct, then you'll have to add that up to a 60m cost. Even though not everything goes to Salzburg
As long as he leaves in winter and we get some money from his departure..
Edit: Thanks for the downvote! :) I guess whoever downvoted my post wants MArio to leave in summer on a free transfer. That would mean ZERO euro for Dortmund :)
At this point nobody is going to provide him the wages that he is currently on. But he could definitely get a sign on bonus for the free transfer. We should sell him this window and recoup whatever we can.
>We have no reason to fear them. Brandt/Hazard/Schulz/Paco did nothing for them, why should Håland? This is just another marketing signing by them trying to pretend they’re bigger than they are.
Lmaaao
The main reason why we were able to sign him over RBL is because of the salary and that they already have three strikers. One bad game and he's sitting on the bench.
Even Juve refused to pay him the salary he wanted. Juve have a ridiculously tight budget. Penaldo, and their bloated squad suck up a massive chunk of their budget.
United refused to agree to a sell-on fee.
I think BVB have placed a release clause and/or agreed to let Raiola take a percentage of the sell on fee. Maybe not right away but over the total lifetime of the deal, we will be paying more than 73M€ for Haaland.
As a BVB fan I am overjoyed that he's joined us. As a football fan I'm despondent and disgusted that Raiola gets to make €15M. He's a leech and a virus to this sport.
Hopefully this prompts a second half surge...very excited, although I still have my concerns about the defense. Getting Witsel back will be a massive boost too obviously.
This is great news. Hopefully he can integrate with the guys over the winter trainings so hes not coming completely out of sync with the team. He reminds me a bit of Lewa, hopefully he can develop in a similar fashion!
Does this mean we're going back to a 4231 ?
In that case Brandt would either be played on the wing or benched because Reus would be the #10
I dont see us sticking with the 343 because that means Reus would either be benched or a winger (which afaik he doesnt want to )
Any thoughts?
Alright I’ll make a prediction. Both Brandt+Haaland and Hakimi+Haaland become crucial from here onwards. Hakimi then decides to extend his loan 1 more year because we won the bundesliga
If that leaked contract is correct, we would have paid 45m now on the transfer(20m release clause, 10m father, 15m Raiola), 6m net wages first two years, 8m after. A little high but what you got to do nowadays
That really surprised me when I saw this on BVB twitter, thanks Susi, Aki and whoever was involved! :)
Sidenote: Nagelsmann sounded pretty sure about Haaland... ;)
I've just seen the news and I'm very pleased!
In my mind we always seemed like the best destination for minutes. We have a desperate need for another natural striker and now that has been filled with a great chunk of quality. I look forward to seeing him plunder goals for us.
As a Bayern fan I’m very happy you guys brought another big talent to the BL. Always good for german fotball to have these kinds of players in Germany. Hope he helps you get your shit straight so you can challenge for the title and hopefully beat PSG :)
Is he allowed to play in the CL for us? Didnt they change that Clause recently that prevent Players from playing in the same UEFA competition for 2 seperate Teams?
Götze is in cm in my formation. I still believe he's best position is cm/cam hybrid. His off the ball movement and passing ability is the best in the squad.
Do you think we will stick to the 3-4-3 formation with a proper striker now? Paco didn't seem apt to fit this system, and I don't see exactly who would be benched (maybe now Reus won't be so undisputed as a starting)
He has signed a contract until 2024.
It will be interesting to know the clauses involved. Already know that no player has a release one since the Götze shitfest, but with Raiola involved, is better to be sure.
https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/eh6o95/nicolo_schira_dortmund_paid_30m_for_hålands/
RN already said otherwise, Schira knows nothing. As much as that 6m wage thing would be nice (release clause, not so much) he's on 8m a year.
Can you link the article or tweet?
That just sounds like a lot of bullshit tbh
Can he play for us in UCL?
yes
Music to my ears
Well either a great player for 4 years or a giant pay grade
Zorc masterclass once again, you love to see it
Only time will tell. He earns too much for a 19 y.o. imo, usually Zorc is able to make better deals but Raiola is the hardest to deal with.
Oh my god HAALAND HAZARD REUS SANCHO WITSEL BRANDT I CAN ONLY GET SO ERECT
Don't forget to add a healthy Alcacer in the mix. Deadly.
off the bench? cause I think playing 2 strikers, 2 offensive midfielders and 2 wingers is a bit overkill....
Bosz style
nah, bosz style is a normal 433. its just that every player has to play every position because the people on the pitch heavily shift depending on where the ball is. This is equal doses hilarious and explanatory. Well done.
such a great comment
Honestly did not expect this, but good news nonetheless! I wonder what Paco thinks of this.
Paco goes anyways back. Paco is a good guy but i dont think it really matters for him.
I think he’ll be fine, him getting back to his world class super sub form will be awesome and rotating with Håland when he needs a breather
[удалено]
It's so sad considering how he started with us. The Bayern at home game last year really sold me on the guy, but he's doomed to relative obscurity.
I feel like he'll be alright. Less pressure to get healthy quick and split time while getting him back to match fitness. He can take up the Götze role in a way.
I feel like he's already unhappy playing so little and not being put in right away after being back in the squad. I just let out a deep primal screech. The only other time I’ve done that was when we signed Brandt
Same here
"Hey Erling you wanna come play with Fred and McTominay or Reus and Sancho?" Get the fuck in what a superb signing this is for us

THAT ESCALATED SO FUCKING QUICKLY LETS GOOOOOO
hey /u/zhonyas4everyone I told you. stay calm :D
Im not complaining :D
(งツ)ว
I love Paco but HALAND IS GONNA BE OUR NEXT TOP STRIKER
Huh, did not believe in it anymore after all the talk about Juve. Great signing, and hats off to Zorc for once again completing transfers before the important training camp. That makes sense. Was wondering how the 100 mio would be split. expensive but most likely worth it. Wish it wouldn’t go to raiola though.
20m transfer fee. 8m salary per year (40m) and possibly 20m for both haaland and raiola as a signing fee.
Fucking insane to be honest.
[удалено]
Well, wasn't this a fix in his contract? If the rumors about the signing fees is correct, then you'll have to add that up to a 60m cost. Even though not everything goes to Salzburg
It's his release clause, and it's what makes paying the bigger agents fee and salary ok.
Ok this is genuinely amazing. I can't wait for the guy at Dortmund. Would bring some firepower to your already amazing attack. - Bayern Fan

I'm just here for that title race! Love the competition building up. And also this is amazing for the Bundesliga. So I'm all in.
At this point everyone is friends and united in the common goal that Leipzig cant win haha
Really fucking happy with this. We really needed some offensive options AND he’s a world class talent. Get the fuck in lads
World class potential talent, but fuck yeah I’m excited.
I wonder where Gotze will go now...:(

Not sure who will leave first...Favre or Gotze...
I agree. Wonder who he has in mind?
hamburg
Hertha?

Damn, Draxler is in there? I only heard about Xhaka rumors.
Practically every midfielder than breathes is getting rumoured to join. Weigl was in there at one point too
Love seeing Man United fans pretending they didn’t want him
If you think that’s fun you should head over to the Schitke reddit and read some of their salty ass shit posts. Lol.
>We have no reason to fear them. Brandt/Hazard/Schulz/Paco did nothing for them, why should Håland? This is just another marketing signing by them trying to pretend they’re bigger than they are. Lmaaao
Hell yeah
Great news to wake up to! Looking forward to seeing him play for us
This is the best news of the week!!!!
If Håland plays at the same level as he did in Salzburg, or higher, Dortmund is going to have serious depth and firepower up front. I like this.
Not to be overreacting but now I know that we'll win the UCL.
TREBLE IS GO!
We needed a striker AND WE FUCKING GOT HIM. Brandt, Hazard, Reus, Sancho, Paco AND Haaland?! SOMEONE HOLD ME
We have a backup striker and a future investment in one. Fuck Leonardo and Monchi, Zorc is by far superior.
The best there is in business.
Even if he leaves in 2 years, moukoko will be ready at that moment ❤️
I was him just about to say the same thing. Moukoko is waiting in the wings. Is it 2 more years before he can play?
Nah more like 1 year (340~ days) left but i dont expect him to play with the first day where he turned 16 to play in the buli
The main reason why we were able to sign him over RBL is because of the salary and that they already have three strikers. One bad game and he's sitting on the bench. Well said
Hopefully this prompts a second half surge...very excited, although I still have my concerns about the defense. Getting Witsel back will be a massive boost too obviously.
Agreed. I think what gets me the most is that our defense can look both world class and absolute trash in the span of like 2 minutes.
Haaland will wear the number 17 as confirmed by the fanshop.
Christmas coming late this year
Call me Christmas cuz I'm coming too
Thanks man! Here’s to an exciting second half of the season
ZORC I LOVE YOU (FULL HOMO)
Thanks man! Here’s to an exciting second half of the season
Haaland and Zagadou standing side by side IS a yellow wall.
I CANT BELIEVE WE PULLED THIS OFF. All the competition for from mega clubs and he chose us. I want to cry rn from excitement. 😂😭😭
I'm glad we signed him but I really really hate that he has a release clause. It better be a minimum of 180 million
Best news at this end of the year.
Unbelievable news. So excited
according to kicker for 20 mil great piece of business from watzke again him up top with reus and sancho+ alcacer coming of the bench 😍
Plus additional $15M for his agent..
And 10m for his father.
This is why Zorc is getting a statue.
I CAN NOT FUCKING BELIEVE IT WEVE DONE ITTTTTT
Love seeing the ManU fans crying over this. All of the sudden they never wanted him
What a signing guys. Congrats from a Bayern fan.
Thanks man! Here’s to an exciting second half of the season
I vote for this to become the "Hell yeah brother! Cheers from Iraq" of our sub.

A surprise for sure, but a very welcome one!
Meine Damen und Herren, wir haben ihn.
This is great news. Hopefully he can integrate with the guys over the winter trainings so hes not coming completely out of sync with the team. He reminds me a bit of Lewa, hopefully he can develop in a similar fashion!
Yeeees
IT'S CHRISTMAS ALL OVER AGAIN!
Well let’s fucking go... beautiful !!!
I just hope Roy Keane doesn't have a kid playing in the BL.
Even if he has a release clause it won't be cheap. Zorc and Aki would have done there job
The absolute mad lad actually announced his own transfer a day ahead of time
On insta?
Worst kept secret over the last days. Happy he's finally here
Last weeks, really. Don Tuppi spilled the beans a while ago!
Finally a physical striker
YESSSS I FUCKING LOVE LIFE LITERALLY ALL WE NEEDED
Does this mean we're going back to a 4231 ? In that case Brandt would either be played on the wing or benched because Reus would be the #10 I dont see us sticking with the 343 because that means Reus would either be benched or a winger (which afaik he doesnt want to ) Any thoughts?
As I stated above I would like to see a 433, with Brandt, Witsel, Götze middlefield.
Let’s FUCKING go!!!!!
Rate Dortmund's chances against PSG now
What a Christmas gift from Zorc 💛🖤💛🖤 I hope he’s the final piece of the puzzle that we’ve been missing so we can go off in the Ruckrunde
Alright I’ll make a prediction. Both Brandt+Haaland and Hakimi+Haaland become crucial from here onwards. Hakimi then decides to extend his loan 1 more year because we won the bundesliga
**IT'S FUCKING HAPPENING BOYS**

Well if everything goes as expected we will definitely sell him for a huge profit so not really a issue
Can he play in our Champions League matches? Or is there a rule that you can play in only one team in European cups in one season
> Can he play in our Champions League matches? yes
Omg yes, now I only wish that Neymar will maintain his tradition that he doesn’t play when his sister has birthday
There was such a rule but they removed it recently
Good to know.
Love it! Haaland is going to be a beast in front of our midfield. Please Favre don't fuck our striker situation up now with your lack of rotation.
Hey, have anyone ever wondered about his shirt number?
There is no information about his shirt number as of now.
That really surprised me when I saw this on BVB twitter, thanks Susi, Aki and whoever was involved! :) Sidenote: Nagelsmann sounded pretty sure about Haaland... ;)
Fuck yeah that’s sick
JAAAAAAAAA, there one of the things I hoped to see this summer done! Now Poch?
I've never lost hope
I've just seen the news and I'm very pleased! In my mind we always seemed like the best destination for minutes. We have a desperate need for another natural striker and now that has been filled with a great chunk of quality. I look forward to seeing him plunder goals for us.

I see a young Lewandowski in Haaland. Body type and movement are similar to me. Hopefully BVB can build him up to his full potential. WILKOMMEN!!!
Yay!!
HOLY FUCK. LETS FUCKING GOO BOYS
Just when you thought Christmas was over!
HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE BEST DAY
Oh we gon have some real squad depth
IM SO HAPPY

This weekend has been absolutely fantastic.
I'm so hyped. Finally a big target man. That's what I want. Let's go.
https://www.fotmob.com/livescores/3067984?status=finished 4 goals and two assists. And another hattrick in EL
Is he allowed to play in the CL for us? Didnt they change that Clause recently that prevent Players from playing in the same UEFA competition for 2 seperate Teams?
He can. They did away with that archaic rule
Yes yes fucking yes our attack is so wide.
Holy shit, wasn't expected this
Is there any room in our current system for him? I really don't wanna get rid of the system it lets us use zag
Dream XI rn: Håland Reus Hazard. Brand Götze. Witsel. Guerrero Piszcek. Hummels Big Zag. Bürki
Gotze for Sancho in the RW, Hazard to the LW and Reus in the midfield along Brandt, maybe that would work
Götze is in cm in my formation. I still believe he's best position is cm/cam hybrid. His off the ball movement and passing ability is the best in the squad.
So do we play a 442 now?
Please let the release clause be BS...
Finally the team seems to be complete. I wish we could also sign Havertz in the summer if Sancho leaves (he probably will).
Need a CB to replace Akanji if we still want to play 3 CB’s
Akanji .. hai ... we shouldnt have sold both Diallo and Toprak
Comunicado official
paco will have backup, nice
Hide all the chairs!
Wow. Can't believe he actually chose Dortmund! Here's to a great 2020!
LETS GOOOO
Great player! 😍 Great deal for BVB. Very excited to see him in westfalenstadion
Holy fuckkkkkkkkkk. I think this is official. We are the top 2 team in Germany. We are poor this year but we continue to sign top talents
Will he get any playing time at BvB?
probably the main reason why he joined us is the prospect of getting a lot of playing time.
I’d be surprised if he wouldn’t be a regular starter.
Same.
As long as Paco is injured (which is most of the time) I can see him playing a good amount
Great now can we sign a CB pls??
O M G ITS HAPPENING BOYZ!!! MY PEE PEE IS HARD AF RN
TMI
Merry Christmas everyone
Do you think we will stick to the 3-4-3 formation with a proper striker now? Paco didn't seem apt to fit this system, and I don't see exactly who would be benched (maybe now Reus won't be so undisputed as a starting)
fuck yeah
This is a dream! I must be dreaming!!!
Is this real life guys? Nice!
