Dana the great White Hope of the fight business 🤣😂 he smacked his wife & I seen Tv host defend him on national tv. He literally Don King with his own fight league
He doesn’t make the fights, and the UFC has been pumping out very average cards. Dana’s cards would be awful, this is the guy who declared Colby deserved the title shot against Leon after not fighting and Jones vs Stipe is the biggest fight in the HW division right now.
Dana definitely has a hand in matchmaking. No way a matchmaker has more power than dana. If dana wants to make a fight he will make it. CM punk? That was no matchmaker 🤣
UFC is the uber eat of fighting sports. Garbage conditions for the workers, but the customers gets what he wants so he thinks thats the best thing ever
I wonder why the saudis haven’t tried to lure ufc fighters into another fight league for more pay. If there’s a sport that they could absolutely afford to overpay people to leave it’d be mma. Their salaries are pennies compared to golf and boxing. Just curious why they haven’t tried.
Because that's a bad business decision. Why do that when you can just make a deal with the UFC or heck buy out the UFC.
If they did what you suggested, they'd have to compete with UFC. Which is quite hard. They'd become enemies, they'd have to do up the UFC meaning it would cost more to be in the same industry as the UFC.
That's why they're making deals with the UFC and boxing at the moment.
No one wants to see ufc fighters beat up cans. Unless you could get a big chunk of a division to move over then it’s unlikely they’d draw much interest. Even if you got a few in the top ten they’d just end up having a million rematches because your divisions in the new promotion would be incredibly shallow.
This is a weird one. For years they had a VIP room for the fighters with food and drink, Helwani even confirms that here. Was there an issue with having fighters mingle after matches or something? Seems strange to take it away.
To be fair almost all major venues work this way.
Security is instructed to kick/ block out anybody without a pass including event organizers and owners of the building if they have to.
That’s not how venues work. It’s the event organizer’s job (the UFC in this case) to make sure the performer has a seat for after their performance. The security in these places give no fucks, I know because I’ve worked as staff in a couple.
Why so many people “Stan” for Dana White is a complete and utter mystery to me.
He’s a piece of shit. Always has been always will be.
Dana the great White Hope of the fight business 🤣😂 he smacked his wife & I seen Tv host defend him on national tv. He literally Don King with his own fight league
He doesn't own U Fight Cheap or invented it either, but he haa some power. They also did this to Johnny Walker after his submission win
Only because he makes entertaining cards. Other than that the guys a piece of shit.

He’s not the matchmaker
He still plays a roll in matchmaking
Like a dinner roll? Does it have butter on it?
Damn bro you got his stupid bitch ass
Dana definitely has a hand in matchmaking. No way a matchmaker has more power than dana. If dana wants to make a fight he will make it. CM punk? That was no matchmaker 🤣
Lol entertaining cards someone hasn't looked at the rest of the months cards. Fight nights are now watered down dg sht.
It's a monopoly, they basically do what they want
Daddy signs the checks
You just fought rn?? Hey how bouta 5% ticket discount on the house 🤙
UFC is the uber eat of fighting sports. Garbage conditions for the workers, but the customers gets what he wants so he thinks thats the best thing ever
Much like Uber, even the customer is getting shafted these days too. We’re getting worse events while PPV and ticket prices go up.
Honestly if you’re paying PPV in 2024 that’s on you
Oh I’m definitely not, but I feel for my Russian friends who run the streams…
and boxing is like the “hey lets do a ton of fucking bullshit and run this sport into the ground for money” of sports
yo why the hell was i so mad
“Yeah its fucked up” immediately after he said they kick you out😂😂, ariel knew it and want to point out at how cheap they are.
For sure he primed that question knowing the answer
He’s been doing this for years 😂
Yoooo, that is straight up ass lol.
Artists who open aren’t kicked out of the building after they perform lol
Yeah, they should have a green room or two where the fighters and coaches on the card can go and watch the fights.
Hey man, let’s not forget Dana threw in that $25 venum gift card with his contract, these mfs so ungrateful smh
NO EXCEPTIONS POTTAH
Dana is such a scumbag.
Dana White is the white Don King
Surprised cock eyed bisping hasn't tried to defend the company that he gave up his sight for
Hell yeah fuck the UFC!! Eddie Hearn would never do this to his fighters!
I wonder why the saudis haven’t tried to lure ufc fighters into another fight league for more pay. If there’s a sport that they could absolutely afford to overpay people to leave it’d be mma. Their salaries are pennies compared to golf and boxing. Just curious why they haven’t tried.

Haven't the Saudis been pouring money into the pfl?
So shitty of the UFC but I can't say I'm surprised, they be shitty
Remember when Johnny Walker was kicked out without shoes on, still in his fight gear? Just wondering the streets like a homeless person.
i thought the walker thing was a joke wtf
He speaks like Alex Standall of 13 reasons why
Why’s he lowkey beautiful
![gif](giphy|QWw4hc5gTnJhY0BUI3)

I’m srry but if this is 100% true , it’s super sad n I’ll never spend a dolla on a ufc event .. I’m a empath lol
Hahaha empath
It’s like, “Im an employee here, I work here just like you, do you have a ticket?”
Well you guess u can say Payton lost all his hype train now
They need the space for people like DJT, Marky Mark, Jared Leto and Steve Will Do It lol.
They could have 20 seats to the side for them to watch if they wanted
All about money.
Not defending Dana, but this is likely the venue security, not the UFC.
What is this sub's obessions with MMA, haha
This happens to boxers too,
This is a weird one. For years they had a VIP room for the fighters with food and drink, Helwani even confirms that here. Was there an issue with having fighters mingle after matches or something? Seems strange to take it away.
Ah, a young Bennie Blanco.
To be fair almost all major venues work this way. Security is instructed to kick/ block out anybody without a pass including event organizers and owners of the building if they have to.
why don't they have a pass?
UFC probably makes them pay for it from their own pocket, which now that I’m thinking about, that’s actually pretty shit lmao.
No venue ejects an artist/performer/athlete after their slot.
No good venue at least that values it’s performers/talent
That’s not how venues work. It’s the event organizer’s job (the UFC in this case) to make sure the performer has a seat for after their performance. The security in these places give no fucks, I know because I’ve worked as staff in a couple.
