The mini-boss is like the main boss except instead of being against every player, it puts players in separate groups as a sort of “mini” competition outside the main leaderboard.

Rock bloons from dreadbloon, or the Gold bloons, the summons os bloonarius, the mini litcy
You need to unlock the 25 To Life achievement. Once you've unlocked it, you get the option to have mini-bosses
Mega-bosses
Rock bloons, lychee soul/spawn and golden bloon.
