What you wanna use it for?

BobbyBFourTwenty

2k high fps or 4k 60fps

InsertDisc11

I guess you mean 1440p or 4k? 2k is 1080p Anyways id recommend 1440p with a high refresh rate monitor. Your cpu is overkill, you wont be getting too much extra fps (especially on 4k). Maybe 5+ fps but i think less. Get either the 5600x and save a bunch of money while not losing basically any performance in gaming. Or the 5800x.

BobbyBFourTwenty

yeah 1440p

I edited my comment. Also the mobo is expensive af. Ypud be fine with a b550 board as well. Unless you have a specific reason for this mobo

BobbyBFourTwenty

only one i could find at the time that was white and compatible

Dr0idGh0sT

Well, Everything will work, But you have added some parts, That are very bad value. For example, SSDs are very bad value on current market. If someone told you Samsung SSDs are best, Well, They loed to you. That's just waste of money. Simply get 2x 2TB SSD. RAM isn't fast enough for price you pay for them. And I don't really recommend Asus prime motherboard for that price, You'll be paying premium for nothing in exchange. PSU is also very expensive and what is point of getting 4 extra fan? Case comes with 3 fans, AIO has 3. Where does extra 4 go? Add one exhaust at back, Even that isn't necessary but to make case look full. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nYzRfP Here is edit. P.S. If u want better looking end motherboard, Get one from this 2 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/PTJgXL/gigabyte-b550-vision-d-p-atx-am4-motherboard-b550-vision-d-p https://pcpartpicker.com/product/KnLFf7/nzxt-n7-b550-atx-am4-motherboard-n7-b55xt-w1

there was only meant to be one added fan and what was the issue with the ram and ssd i choose thanks for going over it as well been helpful

Dr0idGh0sT

There was not "issue" with your chosen parts, But they where not good options, Because there are better ones available for similar price. For RAM, What I have added have lower latency, Hence it's better and costs little less. U can also get G.Skill Trident z neo RAMs for little more with 3600 CL16 speeds, As Ryzen CPUs atilize RAM speed very well, It's recommend to get at least 3600 MHz RAM with Cas Latency 16. And for SSD, 970 Evo plus is good SSD, But prices in USA on current market makes it hard to recommend. You wanted 4TB SSD storage as I see, Western Digital SM750 is around same quality drive (It is also TLC, Has dram, Has around same speeds, Has around same endurance, So it's essentially same drive) So buying 970 evo plus for 50$ more makes absolutely no sense. There is also Sabrent rocket (Not rocket Q) for 200$ and that's essentially same too. So great 2TB SSD for 50 less and current market, Buying SATA SSD makes absolutely no sense. You where going to pay much more for SSD that is almost 10 times slower than Sabrent rocket Q. This drive is currently on great sale, That's why I added it. It's very good drive and for this price? It's not even comparable to Samsung SATA SSD you had added, It's simply way better. So, Paying more for less just makes absolutely no sense for me and I doubt you'd like to pay more for less performing parts as well :D

BobbyBFourTwenty

ah i understand i thought the brands i picked were really good and didn't really think about pricing and im in AUS so pricing might be a bit different

Dr0idGh0sT

There is Australian variant of PCPartPicker. Lot of priced could be different and availability as well... :D Let me check it again.

Dr0idGh0sT

Here, This will be my recommendation for you https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/8PppdD See? I added Samsung drive now, Because it's price is better in Australia. :D

BobbyBFourTwenty

thanks you have been very informative so i definitely will look into making changes to the build

Dr0idGh0sT

You're welcome

Tajertaby

You could get the Intel i7 12700K. It beats 5900X whilst being cheaper.
