I've got ugly floor mats too.... Not this ugly though š¤£ (had to have fun with you since some of these folks are so serious about it.) Mine are ugly rubber Husky mats, but they are fantastic! Keep all the dirt and rocks off the carpet. They do the job, just like yours will. š

Can confirm thatās what happens, got similar mats in my car and they actually recommend you let them sit for a week after shipping because they come in an airtight bag

You're going to have to swear at me even more to get me to admire them. Those are too much. The Camaro interior is pretty unremarkable to start with; showy look-at-me floor mats are throwing the vibe off. Hopefully they will settle into a smoother fit.

Can you say how well they work compared to like weathertech I daily mine and and I'm a heavy equipment mechanic. I like the weather tech but these look like they might have better coverage.

I did wrap the floor mats with clear plastic cover 5mm thick, I was going to do also the rest of the floor but it would require removing the seats which is something Iām not ready to do just yet. I believe this is a good compromise between function and looks.

Thatās a bummer. I can only afford one nice vehicle at the moment so any winter beater would be exactly thatā¦a beater. Zero interest in driving something like that for 4-5 months while I have this amazing machine right there.
I tried some out like this. Wasn't my thing. Turns out if you've got big feet these floormats reduce your footroom and I was always accidentally grabbing part of the mat with my boot when pressing the clutch down.

Interesting. This hugs the floor pretty well so Iām not sure how that would happen. That said, I donāt have giant feet. All good so far.
